Hello! We are operating in few different companies which has different rules and regulations to be followed. All these companies are configured in one tenant and has a same Customer and Vendor base. Access of users will be restricted to the companies. When all the companies using the same customer, it is required to change Customer Tax Zone, each time at the transaction because there is no option to set up tax information company wise. Is there any option to follow or workaround for this?Amanda

I have a GI that when I “View Inquiry” on the production server I get the results I want, but when I export it as a report, I receive the following error message: “Response is not well-formed XML”. I verified that I’m using the correct credentials when logging in through the report designer.  How are GI altered when exporting as a report?  

Since (my understanding, especially based on other posts) Acumatica doesn’t provide any warranty functionality besides the “Warranty” checkbox on service order detail, I’m curious how other service companies that ultimately need to file warranty claims with their vendors handle service order billing and inventory handling, as well as tracking claims with their vendors.We have a pretty good setup, but it’s all customization.  We added a Warranty Vendor column in FS Details (since we can have multiple vendor claims on one service order).  If filled in, logic kicks in that sets the prices (on stock and non-stock items) to based on vendor price records for those items, and then discounts it 100% with the discount offset to a warranty AR account.There is a process screen that then reviews all invoices from service orders with any warranty lines and creates a claim.  The claim is actually a PO Return Receipt, in which we “return” a nonstock item to the warranty vendor for the amount of the c

We discovered this process screen from the developer at our VAR; it wasn’t brought up during training.  I don’t have to use it too often, but if I wind up with an invoice that is out of balance it does the trick.  We currently run some other recalculate screens (like recalculate inventory) weekly--should Recalculate Customer Balances be set to run regularly as well?

I am writing a GI to show all sales order lines and any time we have created a shipment on a order that does not ship all the lines on the order the rest of the order lines are duplicated by the same number as the number of shipments we have made.   Below we have made three shipments on this sales order and the remaining line on the order shows up 3 times. We made three shipments off of the order below. one shipment for line 1 and  line two split between two shipments.  Shipments are below In the GI i am using the following tables and Relation to get the Data requested. I think it is somewhere in the shipment tables but on of the requests is to see the Shipment Status and i had to go to the SO Shipment to get Confirmed or Completed off of the shipment.   

Has anyone ran into the issue where a delegate has to wait 24 hours before they can approve an expense claim? I ran into this issue with a customer on 23R2.  Haven’t heard of this with any other clients on same or different builds.  

Hello,I am trying to configure the parameters on report to utilize @WeekStart+4 and @WeekStart+6 as values in a drop down but when I do this, I get a blank report.   If I clear the value table and put @WeekStart+4 in the default the report works correctly.  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong from my screenshots below?Here is the filter I have setup in the Schema:Here are the parameters I have setup in the Schema, these do not work:However if I set the parameters to this,  the default value works correctly:  

Recently, I added the Invoices screen (SO303000) to the Acumatica Mobile App. Can you please guide me on how to limit the 'Sort By' fields to specific ones, such as Type, Reference Nbr, Date, and Amount? We are trying to get SVO profitability data summarized in a GI or report.  What is the easiest way to do that?  We bill by both SVO and/or Appointment depending on the customer, but regardless need to see a column for Total Billed, a column for Total Costs, and a Column for Profit/Loss by SVO.  What tables and/or fields do I need to add to a GI to get this information?We are specifically looking for the totals from the “profitability” tab of the SVO. 

I have printed the 1099 Misc and 1099 NEC forms. I am now at Create E-File.  There is no Vendor History for NEC or MISC.  What am I missing?

Hello, after doing T200 and T210 trainings I started my own project. I’ve added a tab to Opportunities page and added PXTextEdit and PXButton to it. When debugging it using VS it gives me an error whenever I try to see a value of any variable.The debugging session stops.I tried to add my code to T200 project and was able to debug it there. I can’t see what is the difference between those two projects.My project is attached.Thanks

There is an action for AP Invoices -  “Release retainage directly”How it works? As far as I understand, when you click on this button, it should be carried out automatically without creating an additional invoice. When I click, nothing happens. Perhaps I need to enable some additional settings?For Accouts Payable Preferences I enabled  Automatically Release Retainage Documents.  

Hi,One of our customer has below requirement.They have the requirement to process shipments without clicking on Create shipment action on each Sales Order. Hence we tried to create shipment through Process Orders» Create Shipment. But it has created one single shipment for all the Sales Orders of the same customer. How can we create shipment for each Sales Order separately? TIA

I noticed that one of the automations scheduled to release Purchase Receipts is unable the process the releases as the financial period was closed. I tried to tick the “Financial Supervisor” role for the Acumatica admin user to allow the automation to process the Purchase Receipts even when a financial period is closed. However, when I selected admin under the Users screen, I realised that the Roles are not accessible: I checked another site and it is allowing modification of the Roles for this user:  I am wondering if I don’t have rights and how can I get access to modify the system admin role.

I am trying to build a line graph widget to show opportunities by month year over year:Lines by year (2022, 2023) x-axis of each month - Jan, Feb, Mar, etc.  y-axis quantity of opportunities I can’t get it to show generic months and have all years on the 12 months vs actual month 1-2022, 2-2022, etc.Please let me know if you have a solution.Thanks!  

Hi Experts,I'm currently working on an import scenario where I need to select multiple order lines using the Add PO Line action on the Purchase Receipts Screen.I came across the following forum post which addresses a similar issue:[Import Scenario - Purchase Receipts - ADD PO LINE button not adding PO Line 2](Forum link)However, the solution provided seems to work only for single transaction orders. When dealing with multiple line orders, it fails to function correctly. Could someone please assist me in resolving this issue?Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

I am currently checking if the receipts related to a purchase order are being imported correctly using the screenshot scenario that I have also linked.However, although the receipts are being created through the scenario, they are not linked to the purchase order. Some help please :) !Thank you in advance.

Two of our customers are using specific costs because of the highly variable cost of their materials. I’ve shown them how to do a cost roll but they receive materials on a daily basis and find the roll tedious.I tried to setup an automation schedule to do the roll and update pending but the automation screen will not accept the screen id.Is it possible to to automate this? If so, what are the basic steps to do this? If not, is there a reason it shouldn’t be? Is there a setting to make BOMS pick up last costs whenever a production order is created?I understand that the variance is important to see differences and track back what went wrong. Unfortunately the materials variance information becomes basically useless if frequent cost rolls are not done when using specific costs because, if I understand correctly, the production planned costs are based on the BOM while the actual costs are based on the last cost of the materials released.Please feel free to disabuse me of any mistakes in my

HiWe develop an external project scheduling & time recording toolset that integrates with Acumatica.  Recently we’ve had a number of issues where customers have been setting the status of project tasks to Active while leaving the project status at In-Planning. While we believe this is users simply forgetting to activate the project, we’ve struggled to understand the logic behind why this is possible.  What purpose is there for activating tasks before the project?Doing a bit of research, I’ve found quite a few have put in workflow automations to link the project and task status.  Other research results have been a little conflicting as to how valid this scenario is.Clearly since Acumatica allows it, there must be some legitimate reason which I’m not aware off. We’re just trying to decide the best way we can handle this situation.Appreciate the feedback. 

How can I delete a change order from a project without reversing it. I’ve attempted to reverse the change order and it created a mess within the project costs by doubling everything. I just need to delete it off the project and change order “module/workspace” to be able to re-import it. I do not want to reverse it, I just need it deleted completely.

Hello,I created a smartpanel and am tried to add a couple of buttons in it. I noticed that the SkinID attribute is no longer available in Acumatica 24 R2. If I manually edit the aspx to include it, my screen crashes saying PX:control not allowed. However, I notice that the source code panels still use the skinID. Has anyone encountered this error and if so were you able to find a resolution? I just tried setting Render Style = simple for the panel but I cant get the buttons to align right. Thank you
