Hi There, I tried t void a wire which went through before the batch payments released. Now I can’t release the wire batch payment due to error “This Batch Payments contains voided documents. You must remove them to be able to release the Batch”Now, the system void payment got posted in Bank Rec but the wire payment still shows balanced. I can’t release the wire payment. Could you please advise how to fix this issue? Thank you.

Hi all, I know that’s possible to write a generic inquiry and pull in a note from say a Customer or a Sales Order Line.But I would like to be able to add a note that is specific to a generic inquiry itself. For instance, I just wrote a GI for our team that identifies potential issues (undercharged on a sales order, for instance). But I don’t want to use the notes attached to the sales order, because many of the notes attached to the so are important and don’t want them overwritten.Basically, I’m looking for a way so our team can ‘tag’ or highlight a row result in a GI (ie, a tage could mean ‘investigate further’ or ‘ignore’).Maybe I could create a user-defined field called “mark” and then could the end user somehow glag that UDF from the GI? 

How should we set up the Group/Sort Section to sort the report by Customer Account Name vs BAccountID?I went into the Build Schema, Looked at Sorting and Grouping, and tried to change the groupCustomer to CustomerMaster.AcctName Ascending vs CustomerMaster.BAccountID but I get the wonderful “We’re Sorry!” error... Edition: ConstructionVersion: 2022R2Thank you for your help in advance

We recently used Aatrix for W-2 processing but ran into an issue where many employees did not receive a mailed copy of their W-2. After investigating, we discovered an Employee Payroll Setting that enables consent for electronic W-2 filing on a per-employee basis.We have no idea how this setting was enabled for the majority of our employees or when it was introduced in Acumatica. Users don’t have access to modify this setting, and some employees who had it checked have never even logged into Acumatica.When we filed in 2024, this wasn’t an issue—everyone received a mailed copy. However, we can't find a clear pattern as to which accounts have this setting enabled.Does anyone have insight into how this might have happened?We are currently on 2023R2 - Build 23.209.0023.

 I am an Admin in Acumatica, and I need to update Access Rights by Screen frequently. Currently, I do this manually through the UI, but I want to automate this process.I attempted to use an Import Scenario, but I am facing difficulties mapping the tree structure of the Access Rights by Screen form. I couldn't find a way to properly set access levels for different roles using this approach.Has anyone successfully automated access rights updates in Acumatica?Is there an alternative method, such as using APIs or custom processing, to simplify this process?Any guidance or suggestions would be highly appreciated

Hi all,Currently, my company has two branches. Previously, we had only one. My import scenario mapping is working, but after that, it continues to show an error. I checked all the branch settings in both the Customer and Customer Class, but the error still exists.My provider is a Generic Inquiry that pulls data from the Request screen (RQ301000).Pls advise me if you have any idea. Hello community,Hope someone can shed some light the the this issue that I am having.Trying to set the ‘Create Bill’ field to read only on the Purchase Receipt form, through the Access Rights by Screen form.However,  our attempts to change the access rights to from ‘Inherit’ to ‘View Only’ does not take effect as on saving it.  The higher level access rights setting, which is inherited by the ‘Create Bill’ object, is set to ‘Delete’. 

Hello - wondering if there is a way to create an attribute, selector type that looks at the GL Account table? I see it as an option to select but the actual account does not appear to be an option in the schema field. Only group, class, cury..   

One of our team has entered a prepayment into the Receivables Payments and Applications area.This was done in error, as no prepayment was received, so the entire transaction needs to be voided/deleted.If we simply VOID the entry/transaction. Will this eliminate from the customer Aging, as well as the General Ledger?  Our concern is what it might do to the customer history and aging.Thanks!

The Require Single Document per Document checkbox is not checked in AP Preferences.  I also cannot find any customization or business event that would populate the Project field on the header of an AP Bill.We have added the Project field (APInvoice.ProjectID) to the Bills and Adjustments primary list and here is an example of what we see:These four records happen to be for the same vendor and there are additional records with company WESTMIN that show Project X.The Detail line for both of the LPC bills has an active Project.  We are on version 23.210.0017.If anyone has an idea why or how the Project in the header is being updated, please respond.

Hello,One of our people posted an AR payment in the wrong amount (I surprised the system didn’t give a warning that the payment amount entered did not match the AR invoices loaded). Then he did a payment void but did that to the wrong period. So I am looking on how I can fix that so the GL matches the subledger. I can’t reclasify the batch because that does not correct the AR subledger. I can reverse the Journal transaction but again that only address GL and does not correct the AR Subledger. This is the second type of mistake that has been made that I have essentially been told “sorry once its released it can’t be fixed” which does not seem correct. So thought I would reach out to the community.  Thanks

I am needing to clear our entire AP subledger. I am testing the most efficient way to do this and initially thought I would create a new Cash Account (Clearing Account) and Payment Method for this purpose. My goal was to issue a mass (dummy) payment against all invoices which would get posted to the new cash clearing account, as it is not a real payment. I have everything set up but when I open Prepare Payments, the cash accounts do not appear in the dropdown once I have selected my Payment Method.You can see that these cash accounts appear under this payment method:The payment methods also appear under the Cash accounts - example below:Any idea why these don’t show up in drop down? Is there a different approach I should be taking for clearing out the AP subledger then doing dummy mass payment?

I am trying to set up and activate customer contracts via import scenario using the import scenario below but I’m getting an error. What is missing?The contracts have already been created and I’m just trying to run the set up and activate process. 

I’ve created a Sales Order and assigned it to a Project. At the line level, I have both Stock and Non-Stock Items, each assigned to a Project Task. The invoice has been successfully processed for the Non-Stock Items. However, I’m unable to process the shipment for the Stock Item with quantity and zero value.The issue arises because the system doesn't allow stock allocation, showing that the quantity will go negative, even though there is enough available for shipping. This only happens when a Task ID is assigned to the line item. Without a Task ID, it doesn’t allow saving or shipping, as the Sales Order is associated with a Project.Can anyone help me understand what I might be doing wrong or missing in this process? Appreciate your expertise!

We have a request from someone who would like an SQL backup of their data to give to an analyst to run Power BI on it.We will be doing a backup in SQL Server Management Studio, and FTPing a .BAK file.We don’t want them having access to any of the customizations that we have written and published. So, we need to remove them from the SQL Server database. Where do I need to go to scrub all of the published data. I know I need to remove any usr field we have added. This is how the report looks like when I run it now:  I’m trying to get the report to run without duplicating the header of every inventory item separately. I had previously grouped by first the Vendor, and then grouped them by inventory ID so multiple purchases of the same product sums up and we see the total amount.  How can I remove the header from showing up before each inventory item?
