Acumatica standard behavior sets the Sales Order owner to the user who converts a quote to an order.  I’m unable to find a way to set it instead to the Sales Quote owner.  I looked in Customer Management and Sales Order Preferences, and in Order Types.  And there’s no ability to configure and use an assignment map for Sales Orders.  Can this only be done via a customization?

I am working on an import scenario to create new customers. The site has multi base currency and two branches AU and US. I’m feeding the Restrict visibility to field in the import scenario yet getting this error.    

Our company brings in sales orders via our homemade website. Quiet often we have to change the order quantity on a sales order. When we do that and press save we get an error that says “Applied Amount Cannot Exceed the Unbilled Balance”. We have been able to plug numbers into the payments screen until we are able to save but I don’t think we are doing it the appropriate what. What is the correct steps for changing the quantity ordered for an SO?

Hi All,  We have seen discussions about how to do a bulk update by manually doing an import scenario on the Acumatica system. Is it possible to update a list of customers via a singular API call?  Kind regards, Alecia

I had a client recently respond with their acumatica instance in dark mode (at least that’s what it looks like to me!) and i was wondering if anyone in the community knew how to make this change? i thought it was the browser but when i switched chrome to dark mode, acumatica’s screens were still white.  this is what i’m looking for:this would be an awesome feature (i saw a similar idea which i’ve included below but it seems to be about 4 years old so hopefully this reignites a spark) 

I have a Production with 2 operations.  One operation does not have any inventory required while the other has inventory. I added a barcode for the inventory ID so that a barcode scanner can be used in the Materials Subreport.  However, the Subreport printed the barcode picture even though there is no inventory in the operation. I tried using the visible expression to only appear if there is inventory but no matter what I do, the blank subreport will still print the barcode picture.  The Visible Expression “[AMProdMatl.InventoryID]<>null” was entered into every field or sections with no impact. How to suppress the subreport when the subreport does not have any values?

I’m looking for an example of GI that provides a global summary of project profitability (by project) where each column would include balances by account group type (i.e. Income, Expenses), for any given period, and filtered by Project Template.  Each row should contain balances by project/task with columns for Income, Expenses and net.  The challenges I’m encountering includes:Finding the appropriate table to provide an appropriate financial period selector for the query parameter. Establishing a parameter selector for Project Template that does not generate an “cannot convert <Project Template Name> to integer value”.  Any guidance (or even better, XML files) are appreciated.  

Hi - Is there a way on the compliance management screen (CL401000) to only show vendors that are active?  Our compliance list is showing many vendors out of compliance, but many are inactive vendors we are no longer seeking documents for.  Another layer would be the ability to add the last transaction date for that vendor to help determine if they should be active or not.  I’m unable to edit this since it is not a regular GI.  I appreciate any help you can provide.

My customer wants to require that their customer puts a down payment for items they are ordering.  The system will allow them to enter the payment when it comes in (as a prepayment).  They want to however to send an Invoice for the down payment. I am not seeing a way to do this.I found this article that implies you can do it, but it requires creating a shipment.  This is a manufacturer and they cannot create the shipment because they haven’t made the inventory yet.https://www.acumatica.com/blog/technical-tuesday-creating-installment-payments-using-payment-terms/Anybody have any ideas or am I not finding the documentation on how to do this?

Each time we add a new scope (task) to our projects or make tasks that were in planning active, it makes all of the scopes in projects invisible in our time tracking in WFG. The work around is to make ALL scopes inactive and save. Wait for it to sync to WFG and then make them all active, save and wait for it to sync.  It seems each should sync independently of each other.   

I’ve seen a few other posts mentioning odd behavior with different time zones between employees.Here is what I need to resolve - User A - Eastern Time Zone. Branch A. They create a time card with 8 hours on Monday - Saturday, so 48 hours total.User B - Central Time Zone. Branch B. They view User A’s timecard and can see 8 hours Monday - Thursday but Friday is now showing 16 hours, nothing for Saturday. Tried creating a second work calendar with time zone of EST and work hours 9am - 6pm but same issue. This is causing issues because User B is the one that would be processing payroll and it’s posting incorrectly.  

We are having problems using excel on downloaded Acumatica information.  Right now, the problem is with pivot tables.  It won’t let us change what is in the table. We are having to copy the information and paste special in a new workbook and rebuild the pivot table.

Is there any option to download a 32bit of Device Hub?

In mobile app we have a appointment listing screen under services.We need to add project and default project task field in listing screen.I am able to open listing screen in app but I cannot find any existing listing screen in mobile app customization screen.Web portal screen ID: FS3002PL So, I added it. I am not following how can we access this screen and how to add fields.

Does anyone have a way to apply the depreciation cap for luxury passenger autos?  The IRS has guidelines they release each year with the annual limits for the depreciation deductions.  I do not see a provide method for this nor do I see a way to set a series of max annual deduction amounts in the method even if we created a new method.  Thank you,

How can I fix the issue where a 2-step transfer purchase receipt document still shows the quantity in the "Transfer" stage even after the purchase receipt has been released?I checked the transfer document, and it shows the receipt quantity as zero, while the transfer quantity still has a value. The document is released.In the backend, the INItemPlan table has an entry for the lot/serial number(s) with PlanType 42.Additionally, the INTransitLine table contains an entry pointing to the transfer document related to the purchase receipt.I attempted to fix the issue by deleting the records from INItemPlan and INTransitLine tables and running "Recalculate Inventory," but this did not resolve the problem.How can I properly fix this issue?

 I have developed a custom report which takes shipment number as parameter. when the report is run manually it works as expected. I need to load this report via an action in shipment screen. to do that I added an action as bellow. when click on that action button it opens a new tab and give the null reference error. I tried changing the configurations f the parameter in the report, but nothings work yet. I have attached the report also with this.Following is the Action

We have occasional orders coming in from our eCommerce platform with addresses using foreign characters and erroring in Acumatica.  Is there a way to allow additional alphabet characters to be added to the allowed characters in Acumatica?

This Import Template has been used before but i can’t figure out what it is blanking out the Product Manager field on the stock item record rather that copying over it.  my goal is to mass update this field    Below is the Import Scenario.   My Import Template has the three field required and i am getting no errors.  it just blanks out the Product Manager rather than putting in the new value.  Note: I added Description to the template because is kept asking for it even though it is not in the scenario.  

I have a business event I’ve been fighting with for a few days.  It works in our Sandbox.  The purpose is to move a debit adjustment from one vendor to another by creating a credit adjustment tied to a clearing account, and applying that credit adjustment to the original debit adjustment and then creating a new debit adjustment on the new vendor.It’s driven by a UDF on the APInvoice.  In Sandbox, the user fills in the destination vendor number on the UDF, and the system sees the new value (the BE is setup to monitor all fields on the GI, and trigger when “Record Inserted”) and the BE fires.I copied (exporting the GIs to XML) everything from Sandbox to Live, and it refuses to fire.  I can change the BE trigger to be Action, and then go into the GI and fire off the action from the … menu and it works perfectly.  But if I change it back to trigger by record change (Insert), like it is in Sandbox, it fails.The GI does have a join that links the UDF to the Vendors table (UDF Value = Vendors

Hi everyone,I am trying to restrict the Order Number field from certain roles and it seems to not be working, I don’t understand what could be the reasons to further investigate. At the moment I have it as view only and it works in the side panel but not on the same tab, new tab, or popup screen method.Could anyone shed some light to help? Below is the screenshot where I have restricted to view only.
