Hello. I’m trying to create a Generic Inquiry that pulls information from the PREmployeeAttribute screen which resides under Employee Payroll Settings > Tax Settings.I have the GI created and linked with the PREmployeeAttribute table but I’m not sure how to specify which ROW and COLUMN that GI pulls.For example - when I choose Object: PREmployeeAttribute > Data Field: value it will return the social security number. I’m guessing because that’s the first value on the table. But I want to add another column / row in the GI that pulls the ‘value’ from the Ethnicity row. 

Is there a way to allocate inventory on a sales order as soon as the sales order is released (in open status)?

So I was calculating the % completion on a project in a generic inquiry by dividing the actual costs to date by the Revised estimated costs on a generic inquiry.  After some help from the community I was finally able to get the formula to not error out.  The ending calculation was not correct so I took out the division piece and had it show me just the top number and just the bottom number but those are not pulling correctly.  I used the same fields that are existing on other lines the generic inquiry. I’m usingPMBudget.Type= ‘E’ and the PMBudget.ActualAmount for the cost to date PMBudget.Type =’E’ and the PMBudget.RevisedAmount for the Revised Estimated costs. If I just pull those lines that already exist Actual Cost to date and Revised Budget amount and setup new lines copying the same formula.  I get different amounts.Here is the results the column and the test column next to it have the exact same formula I copied and pasted but they come out with different results?Original Cost to

I’m trying to get a contact email from a Sales Order to a email, however, this is bringing in the Contact ID and not the email. I’ve tried to get the email in the box, but only the ID is able to add an attribute. IS there a way to convert the ID into a Email.

Hi,We have an inherited client that is on 22.214 and needs to go to 24.210. I know there’s not a direct upgrade process and there will be a couple steps in between. I * think * the path is this: Current Version Build Update Intermediate Version Final Version 22.214.0019 22.223.0007 23.120.0004 24.210.0019  My questions are these:Do I create a sandbox for just the 24R2 version, or do we have to test in each? Does Acumatica process the upgrade sequentially in one evening, or will the client have to ‘live’ in each progressive version for a particular period of time?I haven’t processed an upgrade like this and want to be as efficient with the client as possible.Thanks!

I am trying to enter a formula into a generic inquiry that gives me a % of completion based on:cost to date/estimated budgeted costs * 100When I started I kept getting a div/0 error so I wanted to write the formula as follows  if the cost to date or the estimated budgeted cost was less than or equal to zero then column would return a value of 0 otherwise it would return the value of the calculation.  I am just learning the syntax of more complex if then statements. I have tried everything and moved from syntax errors to index out of bounds. Here is my formula that is now generating a invalid string constant error. =iif([PMBudget.Type] = ‘E’,iif(([PMBudget.CuryActualAmount]<=0) or ([PMBudget.Revisedamount]<=0) ,0,([PMBudget.CuryActualAmount]/[PMBudget.Revisedamount]),0)      It seems like it should be a fairly simple formula but it just not working.  I’m missing something.

A number of our clients are struggling with the new credit card processing workflow, where the pre-authorized amount is a cap for capturing.  Scenario: sales order is created with the amount of $100.  Credit card is pre-authorized for $100.  There is not integration with carriers through Acumatica OR (more often) it’s an LTL order, for which there is no integration in Acumatica.  So, the freight price cannot be estimated at the time of Sales Order.  Shipment is created and confirmed.  The freight price is received either from a 3rd party app or entered manually.  Invoice is created.  The invoice is now for $100 + $20 (shipping charge).  Since the card was pre-authorized for $100, the client cannot charge $120.  There are 2 options at this point: a) void pre-auth and create a new payment for $120; b) charge $100 and create another payment for $20.The issue with the first approach is that voiding does not remove holdback from an end customer account, and if they are short on money, the s

I’m encountering an issue with the Purchase Accrual Report in Acumatica. I have a Purchase Order (PO) with multiple Purchase Receipts (PR) and some returns against it. However, I noticed that:The returns are appearing in the accrual report. The purchase receipts (that were not yet billed or returned) are missing from the report.Has anyone experienced this issue before? Any insights on why the receipts are not showing and how to correct this?Appreciate any guidance!

Good morning, we receive the following error when entering a record for a vendor. The Vendor was recently created on on 1/17/2025. We were able to add a record on the 17 but then it didn’t let us add a second record. We were able to workaround this issues by changing the record date to 2015 and then once the record was accepted we changed the it back to 2014 date. Is there any settings that may be preventing us from entering Bills from 2024?     

where do I Turn legacy Exchange Online tokens on or off?

We created a customized data field in the AR - Invoice & Memo’s module.  The data field is at the top of the form, not within a tab.  The data field is to reflect the expected pay date of the AR Invoice.  Once, the AR invoice is released, we lose the ability to change the date.The due date field that is not customized, allows you to change it after you release the invoice.  What do we have to do to allow the customized Pay Date field to remain editable until the invoice is collected.

Hi Guys I'm looking for guidance on how to import Control Type Text Attributes into existing items in Acumatica. What steps or mappings are required to successfully import and associate Control Type Text Attributes with the items? Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated!  When i Import by Import Scenario i get this message:Error: '...' Value of the 'TEXT' Attribute is not among it's possible valuessame Error goes for ID The Attribute ID and Text are also stored in the item classes that are assigned to the items. I can manually fill in the TEXT and ID, but I would prefer to import them 

Good afternoon,What has been the best approach you have found to add a finance charge to certain invoices or customers accounts based on age of invoice?If I was looking to add finance charges to invoices older than a year or a customer that severely past due...what approach do you use?

Hi - we currently have a customer who is billed at regular rates for time and materials but then receives a 5% discount on the invoice total (we want it to reflect that way and not set up a billing rule where we bill for 95% of standard rates). We have tried to set up discounts but they don’t seem to work on T&M invoices. We also tried to adjust the credit terms to give a 5% discount after 0 days but that also did not work. Is there any other way we can set up a discount for this customer?

Hi: The dashboard Production Manager 2024R2 has a Work Center Queue widget showing the Quantity to Produce. The Quantity to Produce column is the quantity to produce for production orders planned, released,  and in process. I expected it to be (quantity to produce – quantity completed – quantity in process = remaining quantity to produce). I am trying to CC multiple people on an email template for a business event. I want our customer service department to be able to easily who is copied on these emails. so i added a checkbox to the customer (Contact table) screen. I then created a sql view that concats all the email addresses into one string. The business event always fails and says “Invalid Mail Address”. Below are screenshots. I tried changing the dac of the sql view to have that field be [PXDBEmail] and also string but i cant seem to make it work. Is what im doing possible? I did verify in one of the email fields that i can put multiple with “;” inbetween and it will send it to both, but i dont want our customer service to have to fill it out in that field everytime.

Hello! I found a few posting but they’re 1+ year old posting and wondered if anyone has experience this issue recently. In my scenario, I have 3 active directory users with different number of roles.  I used the “Import Users w Role” scenario to import their roles. What happens is the first user will have all the roles imported, the 2nd user have some imported and the 3rd user have nothing imported.Below is my screen shots: Roles are imported successfully. The first user has all the roles imported but only some of the 2nd user and none for the 3 user. 

I would like to be able to keep track of quantities that were produced during Overtime Hours.My initial thought was to have a GI for move transaction history with a checkbox that would check if it was made during these overtime hours. This has proven to be quite the task and I just can’t get the correct transactions checked.  I then thought I could create a Work Calendar and pull it in as a Data Source to compare with the times that the transactions occurred at. For this I had to create a GI that pulled the time information from the work calendar which made it display as a formula when it was used as a data source. However, I get an error when viewing the inquiry that these items “can’t be bound”  (whatever that means).  My new thought would be to create a business event that would trigger when a move transaction happened during Overtime Hours and it would automatically update an Attribute within the produced item displaying OT.  This way I could filter by the attribute.  However this

How can I use Customer Invoice to pay for a Vendor Bill?I saw the option to "Extend as Vendor"  on customer screen and "Extend as Customer" on vendor screen but I didn't find how do I apply a vendor bill to a customer invoice...I would appreciate any suggestion.Thanks

Hey,Does anyone know how to remove a BOM as a default BOM for a stock item. For example, I have a BOM for an item that we used to make, but the item changed and needed a new BOM revision, and when that new revision is set to the default BOM, I assumed it would remove the default from the old BOM.   Instead, now I have two BOMs for the same stock item, that are both the “default’ BOM.
