Customer payment plans for invoices/sales orders

Hi there

My company is looking into offering payment plans for large sales to our customers. For example, a customer may wish to pay off a $10,000 sale over twelves months.
Is there a way to set this up so they are invoiced $833.33 each month for 12 months? Preferably under the same invoice number. 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there

When I attempt to use this I am not prompted with the Installments Settings. I have gone through the Enable/Disable Features and I do not see anything corresponding to this. 
Is there a setting I may have missed somewhere?
 

 

What release/build of Acumatica are you on? Do you have full access rights to that screen? It may be so that Access Rights to that section are removed for your user. I can’t find any feature controlling either the Installments are allowed or not.

You can use the Credit Terms with Multiple installments for this. Basically, you define the term that dictates how the amounts should be split between the invoices. The invoice for the total amount is processed with Term set to your installment term. Then Acumatica will close that invoice and generate a set of new invoices (12 for example) with the split amounts and due dates.
