Hi Acumatica Community,

I just want to ask if there is a setup for Data Collection, specific in Scan Move Screen.

Here’s is scenario upon testing.

  1. Production Order - Qty to be Produced (20 Qty) and Tracked by Lot each
  2. I have a backflush for Materials and Labor
  3. Once the Production Order Maintenance is released
  4. I’ll go to Scan Move

Upon 1st scanning, it requires the following

  1. Production Nbr.
  2. Warehouse
  3. Location
  4. Lot

Upon 2nd up to 20th scanning, it requires the following

      1. Production Nbr.

      2.  Lot

as you’ve noticed, it requires multiple scans for Production Nbr.

Here’s my requirements.

1. Production Order Nbr.
2. Warehouse
3. Location
4. Qty (20 KG)
5. Scan Lot (20 Lot Nbr.)

Hoping this process can cater in Scan Move functionality

Thank you!

Check the Preferences of your Production Order Type

Also, you can use the Set Qty function of Scan Move

Thank you angierowley75

But when I set the qty and scan the lot.

The lot number will reflect in the quantity I set.

I think I misread your question.

You are saying that each time you set the quantity and scan the lot - it then takes you back to the beginning to re-enter the production order and operation?

Hi Angierowley,

Yes, you are correct!

On the second scanning, Production Order Nbr. and Lot/Serial Nbr.

Thank you!
