** Admin update Feb 24, 2026: see post by Doug Johnson with the Modern Portal Admin Guide for step-by-step installation instructions **Hello,I’ve enabled the new Modern Customer Portal but when I log in as admin or a Customer Contact with user and roles assigned nothing displayed.The Portals record has been configured.Anyone have ideas on what could be the issue?  I’ve tried with the classic Portal Enabled and Disabled and nothing changes.Tried with classic on/off.Various roles tested also, all on/off, etc.Portal configured.New home page displays.Nothing on home page of portal when logged in with admin or Customer Contact. 

Has anyone ever done a customisation to Enable Pay By Line to work for Sales Invoices generated from Sales Orders. Acumatia does not support it and am wondering why they did not allow it. 

Hello,We would like to know what are the options (and costs involved, if any) to have access to a Sandbox Accumatica instance where we can develop and test integrations via web API calls. It would be like a NFR licenses companies use to offer to development partners.We don't plan to sell any specific Acumatica plugins or applications but only to provide consulting services for companies already using Acumatica and demanding integrations with other platforms.Also, we don't want to be reseller or a company that implements Acumatica so I think ISV level partnership isn't necessary.Thank you,Fernando.

In 2024R1, the help indicates that a credit card payment method can be used to with the Cash Sales sale order type.  But when I add a credit card payment method to the order, I get a blocking error stating the credit card payment method is not supported by the Cash Sales order type.  Is the help incorrect?

I’m trying to route the shipment confirmation document to separate printers based on conditions defined in a GI through an automated business event.I’ve done similar business events on the process orders screen, but this is my first time on the process shipments screen. I feel like there is an import scenario bug on the Shipments target object but wanted to share here in case anybody had ideas as I’m at a loss.This is the error I get. “0 records of 1 have been processed. The last error was At least one item has not been processed.”I’ve turned all of the “extra” parameters off to test and encountered the same error, so the error is either coming for the action or the shipment number key. I have also tried to run the action as “Print Shipment Confirmation” for kicks. No luck.Anyways, I appreciate your additional review. Thanks.  

Hey, gang - our client gets an excel file monthly from one their customers to be imported into their system.  The issue is that the file may have Stock Items included within that are NOT in our Clients instance, nor should they be.  Nevertheless, they need the data associated with the item to be imported, but under a generic item.  In this case, the client wants the nonexistent Stock Item that’s in the Excel file to be renamed to a generic item (say, “GENERICITEM”) during the import scenario.  The client would prefer not to cross reference the existing stock item list with the monthly customer provided list and have the import scenario do the heavy lifting.  Is there a formula or a combination of formulas that can determine if a stock item is in the system and, if not, return a generic value?  Note:  Yes, you could cross-reference and update the spreadsheet beforehand or intentionally error it out and replace the errored items - I’m curious if there is a way to let the system handle th

Hello Team,We have a client requirement to control or validate the posting/ creation of time entries against project budgets. Specifically, they would like the system to generate a warning notification when a user selects a project and task in a time entry and the recorded time exceeds the allocated budget. Ideally, the requirement is similar to the budget overrun notification that appears in the Purchase Order screen.   Can anyone please advise if there are any out-of-the-box configurations or possible workarounds that can be used to achieve this requirement?Thank you in advance for your guidance.-Yasali-

We have just upgraded to 2025R1 and are trying to understand the inventory sources “Free Stock” and “Project Stock”. Main question described below:I’ve come across this basic description, but it’s not making sense to me based on our project settings: In our projects we have the inventory tracking as “Track by location”. For our projects we usually do “Project Drop-Ship” Purchase orders, so the inventory never shows up in our warehouse. Any inventory that we receive on normal purchase orders if available to be issued to any project.MAIN QUESTION: When processing inventory receipts or issuing inventory to a project, it now makes us choose whether it is “Free Stock” or “Project Stock”. We don’t want to classify it as such. Should we be worried about how it is classifying the stock? When issuing it to a project, the project will not be offered as a choice if we select “Free Stock” as you can see here: It only allows us to issue it to the project if we select “Project Stock” as the inventor

 I needed to restrict the SalesPersonID selection in ARTran so that users can only choose salespersons assigned to their organization, based on a custom field (UsrInternalCompanyID) added to the SalesPerson DAC. To achieve this, I attempted to override the selector using a CacheAttached event with a custom PXSelector that joins the Branch table and filters records according to the current user’s branch/organization. Hi, I’m working on a customization project to incorporate a side panel for our Bills and Adjustments screen, but would like to map the navigation parameters to the Detail Transactions grid so it can reference Subcontract Nbr and Project Nbr. When working on the customization I’m only seeing the limited fields tied to the source APInvoice for selection.Because our invoices are not setup for Single-Project use, I do not have an available Project field to map to. Is there anyway that I can establish this link for Side Panel display and ease of navigation for our teams?

We have sales orders that come thru with retail (stock) items but also non-stock items such as donations to other organizations. We also take sales orders up to 6 months in advance before we can fulfill them (we deal with live plants and seeds). When donations come in I would like to invoice the sales orders for those lines. Is there a way to do that? 

We are displaying the approver on our sales order report.  We bring this information in as follows: I have a situation where the same approver is in two approval maps rules (one inside of a workgroup and one as an individual).  So when he approves a document, it comes through twice. This is now causing the detail lines on the sales order print out to duplicate.  I would like to group by the key field here, which is RefNoteID, but I get errors when doing this because it is not a normal numerical ID.Any suggestions?  There might also be cases where there are two approvers who are not the same person, so grouping on Approver ID is probably not ideal, but maybe a work around for now because I only need to display one approver on the report.  Still wondering if there is a better way though?

I have a program that PUTs Production Orders via REST API. It worked until our recent upgrade from 24R2 to 25R2. Hello there,We can add side panels to Entry screens now, and that’s awesome!  However, I can’t figure out a way to add a side panel, that would be filtered according to the selection on the SO Line.  I have created a couple GIs, added them onto a Dashboard that uses InventoryCD as a parameter.  Now, I would like to be able to add this Dashboard as a side panel to Sales Orders screen, and filter data based on what line item is selected on the sales order.Any ideas?  Thank you!

Hello all,I have been trying to create child Prod Orders, but unfortunately, when I click on Generate Orders for Subassemblies option under Prod Order Maintenance → More Menu, it runs & then says “The Operation has been complted”, but it doesnt generate any child orders. Also, I have defined default BOMs for my subassembly parts & also have defined Production Default Source as Manufacturing.How can I resolve this?

We recently extended our default endpoint into a new endpoint for our Financial app partner Cube to use. Since some of the financial queries were so large, I ended up building a new GI to summarize transactions down to totals by period, by subaccount, by account for them to use.  The GI is working as expected, and I added a parameter to try and make it more ingestible by API. However, whenever our Cube dev tries to access the screen via API they get a 200 but null response, even though the screen when queried the same gets data. When importing historic balances into the GL, one was imported into an Asset account with an incorrect branch.The asset account was subsequently used for a cash account and, after recalculating the balance, it was discovered that the offending transaction did not appear in the reconciliation.I am now unable to reclassify or journal the transaction out and replace it with one in the correct branch because the branch does not match the branch associated with the Cash Account.  We have already imported transactions into the Cash account so I can’t delete it and start again either.  It would appear that I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to resolve or work around this? Thanks in advance…   John

I'm working on creating a report that contains all of the contact information for the other trades we typically coordinate with onsite. Information would be found in the Construction module under Projects and the Contacts tab. I'm having trouble getting the coding to pull the correct information. Right now, it's pulling in a random contact that isn't associated with the project I am using for testing. I'm sure there is a table or relation that I am missing, but every time I make a change it gives me a new error. The other thing is each project could have several contacts associated with it that I would need to break out per role on the report. I upgraded my system from 25R1 to 25R2, and I have a snapshot of the old 25R1 system.In 25R1, on the Invoice and Memos screen, when I printed a report, it used the report ID from the Customer Class.Now, in the new version, it always uses the standard ‘AR641000’ and does not pick up any other report.I verified that my custom report ‘AR641001’ works correctly. It also works properly when printing from the SO Invoice screen.

I have a scenario where the several pieces of equipment that need to be serviced and all the equipments are company owned and all in company location not in customer location. We have created these machines as Equipment records. However, when creating a Service Order, I am able to select this Equipment anywhere in the service Order.Is it possible to perform service for company-owned equipment through a Service Order and Appointment?
