Not calculating OT when PTO hours are what causes the hours to exceed 40 in a week

I have a client who does not want PTO hours to be included in the threshold for overtime pay.  For example, if the employee worked the following:

8 hrs on day 1

8 hrs on day 2

8.5 hrs on day 3

8 hrs vacation on day 4

8 hrs on day 5

This person only worked 32.5 hrs and had 8 hrs of vacation pay; in this scenario, I do not want to calculate overtime on the .5 hr.

Does anyone know how to configure 2026 R1 to accomplish this?

Hi kstrobel,

Look at the setup of of your Overtime Earnings Code and make sure it does not include PTO.
