AP - Tax amount - how to offset this Tax amount

Hi Sir Due to vendor profile- tax zone was not set correctly so the AP reflected the tax 26 as below. Not sure what is the correct way to offset or write off this tax amount 26 from the AP bill? Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you

AP Bill : Tax issue

Hi Sir/Mdm Not sure if anyone know what the root cause to cause this issue happend. We understand that Vendor AP bill will auto generate once we receipt in the goods and tick the create bill. We notice that one of AP Bill generated is come with Tax where However , the vendor set up Tax Zone is Tax exempt .Not sure why the AP bill will come with tax? Anyone can advise? Hello everyone ; How exactely does the reverse vat work? I created a reverse vat and a general one to cancel it while billing but it doesn’t work. I’ll have the tax amount on the bills of a EU clients. Help !!! Thanks

Consolidating Posting to GL on enable/disable features form

Option is available in GL Preferences Screen. This gives you one batch for all the released documents however we have a customer who is wondering if it was possible to only have one line for the entire batch. See attachment for further details - You'll see that I released 2 bills together to get batch 4414 and 2 checks together to get batch 4415 but they are wanting to only see one line with the total (for example for batch 4415 they would want to only see one entry to AP for $68.25. Is this something that is possible? It's actually more in the cash account where they would like to only see the one entry. They're finding it a lot to reconcile the bank when each payment goes in individually.

Provisional Posting

My company recently switched from Sage 300 to Acumatica. Acumatica is superior to Sage in most ways. But something I enjoyed using in Sage that I miss is provisional posting. It’s nice to have the ability to test a journal entry prior to posting. The ease of reclassifying entries in Acumatica makes this less of a necessity than it was in Sage, but it would still be useful.

The "Breaking case" error and how can I fix it?

Hello, We are dealing with “breaking cases” scenarios in business. Such as we have 1 item in “Case UOM” and can be converted to “bag UOM” item with the conversion rate 1 case = 12 bags. We know Acumatica has multiple UOM functions, however, for historical reason, our company ispreferring to use “ItemA” stand for case item, and “ItemA-I” stands for the bag item (breaking down item). In short, the case item and bag item are with different inventory IDs. We normally purchased item in case, and sold them in either case or bag. So, we sometimes use “inventory adjustment” to convert case item to bag item. Unfortunately, during the year end review, we found some users forgot to input “unit cost” for bag item on several documents, not too much but also not too little. Since the bag item “VGYCS-I” were sold and issued invoiced. We are afraid of it would make the financial statement incorrect, because it looks like we sold item at 0 cost? Time and Expenses : How to set email notification to sender once the claim is approved

Hi Anyone know how to set the email notification in “ Time and Expenses”? We would like the system can auto send out the notfication email to the sender when their claim is approved so that sender can go in and release the claim accordingly. Access right to use Edit Pivot Table Icon (Gear)

We have this inquiry and we need to allow users to edit the pivot table using the gear icon, we tried providing delete access right of this screen to the role where the users assigned to. Unfortunately they keep getting kicked out of the screen when they click on the gear icon. Any idea why is that?

Return to vendor process with replacement

Hi Sir Anyone can advise how to the transaction flow for the Return to Vendor Process in Acumatica as the return will be replacement back instead of refund the payment to us. We understand that once inventory issued , it will reflected to inventory stock ( reduced) and increase the cost of purchase. CR : INVENTORY DR : Purchase ( cost of good sold) However, if this return is send to vendor for repair/rework and it will be send back to us again. If based on above double entry , CR: Inventory and DR : Purchase , it will reduce the inventory qty and increase the purchase (cost of good sold) Not sure how it record in system while we waiting for the goods send back from vendor where not reflected the puchase and inventory? otherwise it will effected the cost of goods sold on particular month Hope to hear from you soon. Discount totals on Purchase orders

Is there a way to show the total of the line discounts, in the discount field and on the printed PO the same as when the whole document is discounted? This would be easier to identify and compare with confirmations and invoices from vendors.

Micr Check

Does anyone know the correct field to set the check number to on the Micr line report. If I set the check number parameter to PaymentMethodAccount.APLastRefNbr the whole line disappears. If I take it out the account and routing numbers show up fine but no check number. I have also tried APPaymnet.ExtRefNbr same results ….. Thank you.

inventory vs purchase ( cost of good sold )

Hi would like to clarify the Acumatica system logic for inventory and purchase . does it mean system capture into purchase only Issue inventory ? Credit : inventory , Debit : purchase ? once AP bill created , it will go to credit trade payable and debit to PO in accrual ? if above understanding correct , Does it mean don’t have closing stock in Acumatica system? only purchase where equal to cost of good sold?

How to get only Customer which are having incorrect balances

Hi Everyone, We are seeing few of the customers having incorrect balances and everytime when we observe this we are running the “Validate Customer Balances’ processing screen then Customers are updating with the proper balances. As we have huge number of customers in the system, this process is taking so much of time. Do we have any other alternative to find only the customers which are having incorrect balances, so that we will run this process only for those customers.

Landed cost vs freight cost

Hi Anyone i would like know more about the landed cost in accumatica. As i know once we entered the landed cost . it will become part of value of inventory instead of freight cost expenses. Not sure if my understanding is correct? As we would like to know the freight cost of each import shipment or outbound shipment, Not sure if acumatica got this function to let us take in the freight cost? Hope to hear from you soon. Bill selection in a vendor payment

Hi: There was a focus group on selecting/checking off bills in a vendor payment. The check off proposed feature was very interesting. However I could not find that feature in 2019R2 and 2020R1. Was that ever implemented? This was documented in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6yTlgJ8dms The same feature was discussed for AR. Selecting/checking off invoices for a customer payment. Include PO Receipt so it works with new AP OCR Recognition

The new AP OCR ML feature is great if you are only using AP bill processing. Many clients have purchasing/receiving and it would be great to incorporate an option to select if the AP bill is related to a PO so the receipt information can be pulled into the bill.
