Tables store translation data

Dear all, We have set up the locale in two languages. I used to define stock item descriptions in both Vietnamese and English. However, I haven't been able to identify the tables that store the English translation data.The same issue applies to Credit Terms. Thank you very much!

Error in Import Bank Transaction

Hi Team, Issue Summary: When attempting to save or process a bank transaction record under “Import Bank Transactions” in Acumatica, the system displays the following validation error: "Payment Date cannot be empty." Steps to Issue Summary: Navigate to Cash Management > Process Bank Transactions. Import a bank statement using a defined Import Scenario. Attempt to save or process a transaction line. Foreign Currency Payments in the Real World

Is anyone transacting foreign currency payments in the real world in Acumatica? If so, I’m curious how you’re handling the difference between the rate on the AP Payment record in Acumatica and the rate that your payment provider uses, assuming that you process the payment in Acumatica before processing it with your payment provider. Here’s an example: 1. The Base Currency ID on the Companies (CS101500) screen is USD 2. Enter an AP Bill in the Bills and Adjustments (AP301000) screen on April 01, 2025 for 100 EUR at a rate of 1.11111111 3. Here’s the journal entry that gets created when releasing the AP Bill showing USD of 111.11 4. Enter an AP Payment in the Checks and Payments (AP302000) screen on April 14, 2025 for 100 EUR at a rate of 1.12733217 5. Cash In Transit - Subaccount based on branch

Hi Everyone, I am having problems when trying to do a Funds Transfer. My Journal transaction for the Cash In Transit Offset is coming with the wrong subaccount (20-000) instead of using the branch the user is currently on (10-000). It is using the default preference from the Cash Management Preferences, because it is currently a required field, however I would like it to just pick the correct subaccount based on the branch. Pulling monthly ending balance in ARM

Hello all, How can I display the ending balance for a month instead of a year? So lets say if the income for March is 100$ and that of April is 50$. So if I enter the 04-2025 period in my parameter the ARM report should display only 50$ instead of the total, of 150$, that it is currently displaying. In my column set I am using the below amount type: Tried with Ending balance as the amount type but still it shows the same figure.

Create Refund check for AR customer

Good morning, I know this has been discussed on other forums in the past and hopefully there is a resolution at this point...however I am just seeing if there is a more sufficient/quicker method to use to get refund checks for AR customers? My company is still fairly new to Acumatica, so bare with me if my step by step process is either confusing or cumbersome. Please advise! :) Right now, I currently do: Verify customer orders are complete and credit is available Extend customer as an AP vendor through AR customer maintenance screen Create a Cash Purchase in AP to reflect check I’ll be cutting (apply towards corresponding Refund check GL Account) Prepare/Print Checks Release Printed Checks Create a Debit Memo/Credit Write off in AR to offset credit available (apply towards corresponding Refund check GL account)

AP Debit adjustment Apply not including original document

Hi, A client has several AP invoices that need to be reversed. Reversing a bill to create a debit adjustment record works fine and links the original document to the new debit record however when clicking apply on the debit adjustment record, the resulting payment record only shows the debit adjustment line to apply by default. Is there any way that the corresponding invoice get added as a line automatically as well via some sort of setup? Regards, Andrew

Bank Feeds in Canada (BMO)

Wondering if anyone is successfully using Bank feeds in Canada? Looking for strategies that work. The client banks at BMO and BNC and we’ve had a hard time making connections to either. We’ve tried both Plaid and MX with no real success. We did have a connection to BMO but using a bank card instead of normal account credentials but that has since stopped working. And at one point we were able to connect successfully using MX but the Refresh did not return any transactions on accounts that definitely had transactions. Very frustrating!

Subaccount Mechanism Similar to NetSuite in Acumatica?

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask if Acumatica has a subaccount mechanism similar to other ERP software (as shown in the attached image from NetSuite). In this structure, users are not allowed to post transactions directly to the parent account, and reports querying the parent account will automatically sum the data from its subaccounts. Does Acumatica support this functionality, and if so, how can it be configured? Thanks in advance!

Landed Cost Vendor Question

When we receive bills from our vendors wiith fees such as shipping and handling on the bill itself and we are paying our vendor (not a trucking service) for those fees. I want to be able to link those fees to the items on that bill specifically. Does that mean I have to have all my vendors selected as “Landed Cost Vendors” as well? Scenario 2 - we pay royalties on items to vendors and I want that fee to be reflected in the cost of goods for that 1 singular item (not all of the items on that PO) Example:Invoice from vendor: Item A - Qty Purchased 5 - Unit Cost $2 - Extended Cost $10 Royalties Paid for Item A - $0.10 per unit - Extended Cost $0.50 Item B - Qty Purchased 5 - Unit Cost $5 - Extended Cost $25 Total Owed: $35.50 BUT I want the stock item to reflect that it’s last cost is actually $2.10 and not $2 From my understanding if I entered the royalties as a landed cost that $0.50 would be allocated to all of the items on purchase order?

Tax zone error on PO.

Error: Inserting 'Purchase Order' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. Tax Zone should be..ON. The warehouse and branch are both located in ON and the vendor is location in BC. Error appears from create PO from requisition. Anyway to turn off taxes completely or the work around this for a company with multiple different tax zones per warehouses/branches.

Cash customer credit terms putting invoices on credit hold

We have a number of COD customers, this means that they have payment terms stating 0 days (nothing to do with their actual payment method). Essentially we want to create an invoice for them (showing their details) that must be paid instantly. However, any invoice immediately goes onto credit hold, due to their credit verification being days past due. What is the best way to manage this, that ensures: Any invoice becomes due immediately No credit hold needs to be released when creating the invoice

Net/Gross amount entry on AR invoices and AP bills respectively

Hi all, I was wondering if there’s any way to configure a tax code with Net/Gross amount entry on AR invoices and AP bills respectively. For example, I’d like the calculation rule to be inclusive line-level for output VAT, and exclusive line-level for input VAT. Is there any way to achieve that, other than creating 2 tax codes? When a purchase receipt has been matched to an AP invoice, to do the purchase return doesn't need to reverse AP invoice?

CASE: A purchase receipt #66 has been matched to an invoice #77, when I do the return for this purchase receipt, Acumatica generated a return #88 directly, Acumatica doesn’t require the matched invoice #77 to be reversed. So in the end, I returned the goods to the vendor through purchase return #88, but I can still pay the invoice #77 to vendor. This is very dangerous. Also if I don’t reverse invoice #77 and do the purchase return #88, GRNI account will not be correct, it has two debit amount, one from invoice #77 and the other from purchase return #88. Any comments or experience why Acumatica doesn’t force the matched AP invoice to be reversed before doing the associated purchase return? Thanks!

Permission Set On - Access Rights by Role getting Overriden

Hey Team, AP Viewer role permission is set as Read-Only for Bill & Adjustments Screen. but the user is still able to perform PAY action on the screen. There are no Customizations on the site. One thing I noticed is the default workflow for the screen is disabling the PAY action only when the status is closed. Could this be the reason why the Permission set on Access by Rights Role is getting overridden by Workflow condition.

Incoming document - Question and customisation

Hi, We would like to know , do you use the Incoming Document feature inside AP? Do you have good results? Did you customize it? Exemple : I remarked that about functional point of view: If a PO line does not require a receipt (Require Receipt = false), one would logically expect to be able to link the AP invoice (Incoming Document) without enabling Allow AP Bill Before Receipt. But as we have seen, this is not the default behavior in Acumatica. Is it normal? Thanks

Move Credit balance in A/R for a customer to customer deposit using Journal Voucher

We have a customer that overpaid, and now we would like to move that overpayment to the Customer Deposit account on the balance sheet. We believe we need to too this via a Journal Voucher to ensure that the customer’s account will be properly hit to move that credit from their A/R account to the deposit account. We have tried this a few ways without success. Does anyone know which module/voucher type we should use to accomplish this so the proper transaction hits the accounts in the correct way? Patrick

Bank feed error message: Credentials were not updated. Error reason: Bank feed has been already connected

Hi, User is getting an error on the bank feed when Loading in test mode. CA Error: The answer or answers were not provided in time. Please try again.” In Acumatica community we found a discussion on how to resolve this. However, On Step 2 ‘Update Credentials’, user got an error. User updated the credentials, first it says “you are successful connected to [Bank Name]” and then it showed ‘Credentials were not updated error reason: bank feed has been already connected’ Does anyone know how to resolve this error message?

Subaccount Mask for Project/Project Task unavailable under Reason Codes for Issue of Stock for Projects

Hi everyone. I am hoping that someone can help me find the cause of my issue. I am trying to setup reason code, so when an inventory item is issued to project task, it uses the subaccounts from default cost subaccount of the project task. I am following this documentation below. but so far unsuccessfully. When I set combine Sub From box to TTTTTT, it says “TTTTTT does not exist in the system”. Subaccount segment key is set to 6 characters. Could someone please point me to the right direction? Much appreciated. Best Regards

Should PO unit cost match AP bill?

I’m looking for best practices. If our AP department receives an invoice/bill for product received but the purchase order totals and unit costs do not match what should we do? Should we be sending an mail to our purchasers and asking them to reopen purchase orders and update the unit costs? I tried that in a test enviroment and the PO updated its costs like I expected, but since the purchase receipt has already been released those costs were not updated and hence when we go to enter the AP bill the old unit costs are the numbers in the AP bill. I don’t feel like it’s reasonable to ask our AP person to adjust all the unit costs if they differ but I need to develop an SOP for our purchasing departments as well. On a related note, which “unit cost” does the stock item use for the “Last unit cost” and “Average Unit Cost” equations?

Expense receipts in different currencies

We are finding inconsistent behaviour with the recognition of expenses receipts (24R2). Sometimes European dates are recognised other times not. But this question is about currency. We are finding that all receipts are assigned the currency code of the company and that the currency symbol on the receipt is ignored. I would like to know if users in the US find that the expense recognition recognises the currency. I assume that US employees will frequently have CAD or GBP expenses to claim. Thanks James
