 Here’s our issue since upgrading to 2025 R2: This invoice is giving us the strange error message ‘SO Error: The document is out of the balance.We understand the part about the project budget being exceeded. This is simply because of different model numbers being used in the quote that what are being used in this purchase order/bill.We’ve already selected “Allow Adding New Items on the Fly” in the project settings.The document appears to be in balance to me. Any thoughts?

What is the best way to add a subcontractor to a service order?  Is there a way through a PO or how do you tie the bill to the service order? 

Dear all, In the old version, If there are multiple lines in the AP Invoice, there will be corresponding multiple lines in Convert purchases to assets.But Now in the new version 2023 R2,  If there are multiple lines in the AP Invoice, there will be only one line with total amount in Convert purchases to assets.So If I want to have multi lines as the old version, how to config? Thanks and Best regards,

I need to transfer funds from one bank account in 1 currency to another bank account in a different currency. I can’t have a funds transfer or a journal entry with accounts that have different currencies. Is there a way to do this? 

Hi,I have a requirement to transfer the balance of the cash account in one company to a cash account in another company. For that, when Im trying to create the Inter Branch mapping the system does not show me the offset account in the search. What could be the reason ?Thanks!

When importing historic balances into the GL, one was imported into an Asset account with an incorrect branch.The asset account was subsequently used for a cash account and, after recalculating the balance, it was discovered that the offending transaction did not appear in the reconciliation.I am now unable to reclassify or journal the transaction out and replace it with one in the correct branch because the branch does not match the branch associated with the Cash Account.  We have already imported transactions into the Cash account so I can’t delete it and start again either.  It would appear that I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to resolve or work around this? Thanks in advance…   John

We have a payment made in 2026 (application date 2026 also) but it was posted in 2025. We accidentally adjusted it to match a 2025 invoice that was reclassified and now we can't adjust it to the correct 2025 invoice in Acumatica to ensure the reporting is correct.

Hi all,I’ve created a Generic Inquiry (GI) to capture the customer’s first invoice date, and I’m using that as the customer start date.What I’m trying to achieve is something like an annual reminder/email based on that date.For example:If the first invoice date is 1st August 2024, then every year on 1st August (like 2025, 2026, etc.), the system should pick that up and trigger an email.So basically, I don’t care about the year — I just want to match the day and month with today’s system date.If today is 1st August, the GI should return only those customers whose first invoice date is also 1st August (any year). Then I can use that to send emails like “you’ve been with us for X years”, etc.The GI I created is already working fine to get the first invoice date, but I

I need to create a fairly straight forward CSV payment file to a local bank.I have checked the standard exports and they are much more complex than I need.However, I am not sure where to find information like the vendors bank account info in the export scenario I am trying to create.Any assistance would be appreciated. Carsten

Hi All,Has anyone successfully used an Import Scenario to automatically convert purchases to Fixed Assets in Acumatica?I have been testing the Convert Purchases to Assets screen with a Business Event + Import Scenario approach. The scenario runs successfully without errors, but no Fixed Asset is created in the end.My understanding is that this screen relies on UI behavior:select the transaction in the top grid the detail line appears in the bottom grid fill in Asset Class and Department mark Create Asset then click ProcessThe reason I am trying to automate this is because I want the FA number to be available immediately when the stock is issued/shipped out. My warehouse team needs to attach the FA code to the item at the time of issue, so I need the purchase-to-FA conversion to happen automatical

Hi, we are trying to automate the calculation and processing of AR Overdue charges. I have setup the Automation schedule and the last two months, it did not create any Invoices.So in looking at the Scheduler, it does not give the action to calculate first.  So Process all does not process any documents. Please advise.

We have a critical need to get the actual dollar amount that the customer has paid to date on a project so that we can display that value on a project summary report.  We’ve tried to figure this out but whatever formula or string we need to develop in order to come to the number has proven to be elusive.  Anyone have a way to get this paid-to-date number?

Hey, gang - not too familiar with FA’s, so if anyone can point me to whatever I missed, it would be greatly appreciated.  I’ve migrated the customer’s list of FA’s into the system (in Initialization Mode) and they are asking to dispose of some FAs in some older periods.  However, when I attempt to do this, I get the “Book Period cannot be found in the system.” error in the Disposal Period field when using a date back in 2015 (as an example). However, I do have book calendar’s set up going back to 1990.

Hello :)So there are two types of ‘open’ POs: (That I use anyways)Po’s that have nothing billed against them - I can easily cancel thesePo’s that have something billed against them, but not the whole amount, so there is a remaining ‘open’ amount.The top one I can easily cancel and remove, but the second one has a partial amount remaining and I get no options to ‘cancel’ or close it: How can I close/cancel this so when I enter another invoice with a po, it doesn’t show up as an available po? Any help would be greatly appreciated b(^_^)d Thanks

We are relatively new to Acumatica and would like to understand totally how the COGS labor/burden are captured throughout the manufacturing process and where/how costing is hitting the GL.  Currently what we are seeing is labor costs debiting WIP and crediting an account set up in ‘Labor Codes’ ---when the finished good product is produced, the total cost for material, labor, burden costs are crediting WIP and debiting our finished goods GL account.  The labor and overhead costs are not being posted separately or captured in a GL account.  In our previous ERP system, the labor, burden, overhead and material costs hit separate GL accounts.  We can see the amounts for Labor Planned, Labor Actual and Labor Variance amounts in the Production Order which produced the goods.  Any clarification would be most helpful.  

Hi, about to implement Acumatica Payments for an account and a good number of their customers take advantage of their 2% OFF if paid in 10 Days policy.  Has anyone implemented Acumatica Payments with Cash Discounts? Curious if is straight forward and the system does the math and changes the amount on the 11th day or if this is an item that has to be addressed ahead of time. Thanks!

Has anyone been able to create a generic inquiry that can include both actual and budget numbers by period, account, and sub account? I can’t seem to find the right combination of relationships to get this to work properly.
