The COGS for a drop ship sales orders is the purchase price received.  But is the vendor invoice is received with a different amount  we would like the PPV to be applied to the COGS of the sales order.  We have setup COGS to use the customer location sales subaccount and set the PPV to apply to the Inventory Account,  When we process the AP Bill it creates the Inventory Adjustment but it cannot be released until the Sales Invoice is released   - no idea why this is required because the COGS was the PO cost and not the PO cost + PPV.

Client is migrating from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Acumatica, and we are trying to find the best approach for maintaining pricing. Dynamics GP isn’t particularly powerful when it comes to pricing, but it has a feature wherein it will calculate the selling price as a “percent of list price”. Each custom is assigned a “price level” (similar to a customer price class in Acumatica), and each “price level” is assigned a percentage for each item.Clearly, this functionality can be achieved with Price Worksheets, but that involves some additional work, and it would not reflect a change of “default price” real-time. Has anyone encountered this scenario and solved it with base Acumatica functionality? I understand the Schedule recurring sales orders is a future consideration so wondering if anyone has come up with a workaround or customization?  A supplements company (prospect) needs the ability to setup an order for a subscription that ships the items on the subscription based on predefined ship dates.

Business case:Quote includes a return (Trade-In).  Equipment Manufacturing and Distribution companies - sell equipment, sometimes will take a trade-in of a used equipment.  Want to be able to put the negative qty on the quote to include the credit.  Then convert the sales quote (CR304500) to an order of type = MO.Can’t enter a negative on the sales quote Can’t convert to an MO order typeDoes anyone have a process for something like this?  Put a negative on a sales quote to include a credit/return in the quote?  

We have recently started using PO approvals which work great except that anyone can print the PO before it’s approved and then send that to the vendor which defeats the purpose of having approvals at all. Is there anything our of the box that can restrict printing a PO until it has been approved?

I’m trying to import  an inventory adjustment file and continue to receive an error message when importing that says “ReferenceNbr cannot be empty”.  I’ve tried with <NEW> as well as inputting a new number .. neither is importing.  Advice? Thanks,Sandy

Hello,We need the freight cost that is defined on a dropship PO to be linked back to the sales order. We need the freight cost to be tracked and passed from the vendor back to the customer in order to track profitability for the freight line on the sales order. If we do not have the ability to track freight cost, then all we are getting on the sales order is the freight price which throws off profitability.  Tracking dropship freight cost to a sales order invoice. Here is a dropship purchase order. I added line 002, Freight Charge, onto the PO at a $50 cost. This is the cost the vendor is charging us for freight. This line is linked to the sales order. We would like this cost reflected on the sales order that is linked to the dropship purchase order for profitability purposes.   Here

Hello,We’re trying to process a Credit Return where some of the returned product goes back into inventory, while the rest is damaged and should not be restocked.What is the recommended process in Acumatica to return only part of the product to inventory and exclude the damaged portion? Is there a way to split the quantity between what’s restocked and what’s written off, all within in the same return?Thanks in advance for your help!

Is there an option in Acumatica to create a credit memo directly from the Sales Order screen using a Credit Memo order type or other suitable order type without generating any inventory transactions?The customer prefers not to use the Invoice screen, as they want the credit memo to reflect the exact customer pricing. Their goal is to issue a credit memo without affecting inventory.

We use a Sales Order Type with Automation Behavior = ‘Quote’ for quoting Parts and Service inquiries.  We would like to start using this functionality for quoting used product that we take in on trade.  These used products have many Lot/Serial Attributes (we use the GitHub customization) that define Year, Make, Model, VIN, Color, Specs, etc. that we would like to display on the Printed Quote for the customer.  However, it appears you cannot allocate a serial number to a Sales Order with Automation Behavior ‘Quote’ (in order to get those attributes to display on the Printed Quote, you would have to allocate the serial number to the document first).  You can only allocate to Sales Orders with Automation Behavior ‘Sales Order’ based on my testing.  Does anyone have a creative solution?

We have a business event which sends a notification to the Purchase Order Approver.We want the owner of the PO to be notified also. Which screen field should be used so that the PO owners email can be copied in the CC field on the email template? Regards

This is a very tedious solution as I understand it as for all Sales Orders will now need to manually be issue, which will cause a lot more work then just do a credit memo then adjust the items that were return by the CM. Does anyone have a

Hi,I've recalculated inventory from the beginning, but I'm noticing that some transactions are missing from the historical inventory transactions. Additionally, the balances are not matching the Inventory Register report. Has anyone encountered this issue before or have any suggestions on how to resolve it?Thanks.   

I believe this is a relatively simple question, but I do not want to assume. When using Inventory Planning > Processes > Generate Forecasts, does the calculation include historical data brought in from when Migration Mode was activated?

I have a client currently who does Vendor Pricing and they need to update sometimes over 100,000 records. I know this isn’t feasible with the Price Worksheets as they have a limitation. I am looking to see what others have done to get around the limitation in Acumatica. Obviously using the Vendor Prices is not ideal because it would take too long to update.  Thank you!

 Hi Acumatica Community! anyone know how to best handle this scenario? Item A is stored as a kitted item. But it's sold as component as Item B. When looking at on hand qty, is there a way to count Item A's inventory as part of Item B? 

I have a weird issue, I couldn’t find a known reported issue/fix for. 2023 R2Sales Order generated for 150 units at 10 units/case.We had 98 available in inventory.  The system allocated 98, we only shipped 90, due to ‘ship case quantity restrictions’, and canceled the shipment line for 8 units.More inventory became available, recently, system allocated 76 units.  Math says we should have expected 60 to complete the 150.  Total ordered is showing 166 on SOOrderLine. Everything looked fine in the Audit History.  We can track the order allocating all available inventory (known issue for us).  We followed our process to cancel the partial case.  SOOrderLine totals looked fine until inventory was allocated to the shi

Has anyone seen this error before? We use the Acumatica Native solution for Ground Collect. I have some shipments that will release while others get this error. I cannot find where the issue lies on this one.  

Our Approval Map for PO Requisitions has been working well, until we wanted to wait until after bidding is complete.  Desired process is:Requisition Created Sent for Bidding Bidding Complete, Price Finalized, and Vendor selected Management ApprovalSo far we’ve been unable to delay triggering the approval to after bidding is complete.  We’ve tried several combinations of Steps and Rules, but it appears to want to go directly from On Hold to Pending Approval.Is there a way to accomplish the flow outlined above?Thanks very muchAndy

Hello Community, We are having an issue when attempting to confirm a shipment and receiving the following message:On the shipment, we are not trying to delete any items, simply clicking the “Confirm Shipment” button and receiving that error. The quantity lines are as follows:These are serialized items, and all have a serial selected so no unassigned quantities. No duplicate shipments were sitting out there, and the lines are all allocated correctly. The order itself shows the lines as open for shipment and every line is marked “back order allowed”. Has anyone seen this error before?
