Hello Community, We are in the middle of Acumatica Implementation for a Canadian Heavy Civil Construction Company. We have been using ADP for our payroll system but constantly running into issues with them. It has made our payroll person very frustrated (I am aware of ongoing issues personally too).That being said, we have been looking into alternative payroll systems from two broad angles.1) capability of managing payroll as if was a standalone software and2) integration with Acumatica.We have reviewed pretty much in depth a few payroll systems including Dayforce(Ceridian), Acumatica Built-in, Lumber and Avanti. Hi Guys,I need help to sync Line Item properties to Acumatica. Shopify apparently stores the variant options in and array format. Default connector only syncs the 1st option from line item properties but it could have up to 10+ options in that field.Is there a way we can create a loop to loop through the array and show all the options in Acumatica? Thanks for your help.

I created a DAC that adds 2 decimal fields within the DAC for a grid. I can’t figure out why after publishing,  the field is a text field and not a decimal field. We have set an approval map for the PO owner to be the approver for an AP invoice, but on some occasions we need to approve so require to set individuals with overriding capability.So far, we have not been able to set this up either with creating steps within the approval maps which seems to duplicate the AP invoice in the Invoices and Adjustments list, creating a workgroup in the company tree, or delegation under employees.This is the current approval map set for the PO owner:

I would like to set up subaccounts for our business and have been testing it in our test tenant but I’m not seeing that these sub accounts show up on any financial reports like our P&L. Does this require a form customization or am I utilizing the wrong report?

I've built out an Acumatica Webhooks project. I've successfully got it reading the incoming POST, and figuring out what to what to do. So far I can successfully insert Customers, Customer Locations and Projects without an issue. Honestly, from someone who does a fair amount of integration work, this is basically magic. These integrations are as close to real-time as is practical, so amazing work Acumatica.That said, using nearly the same code, I'm trying to insert AP or AR Invoices and I get bizarre or meaningless errors.I’ve stripped that code down to the most basic version, and when running the code that lives in the webhooks dll from a button on a graph it works exactly as expected. When it runs within the webhooks environment itself I get weird errors.For what it’s worth I’m running in 22R2, but I moved the code over to 23r1 and I get the same issues.My case in “in engineering review” so I thought I’d field it here to see if anyone has thoughts on wha

When using paperless picking, the pick ticket can be in one of multiple statuses - On Hold, Added to Queue, Assigned, Being Picked, Returned to Queue, Picked, Completed, or Cancelled. Is there anything similar for Pack status?

Hello,Before I go down this path, I wanted to know if it would be a viable solution to add a button in an email to approve or reject a document based on selecting the link. I have been able to get an elementary version of this to work through sending certain text in an email for intake but the client wants to get more sophisticated with an actual actionable button.I believe this would be possible with some variation of the portal- they click the link, brings them to the portal, they can approve- but not all customers will have an access. So ultimately I need to be able to get a response back without the need to authenticate.Any input or experience on this topic would be greatly appreciated! 

Hello, looking for a sanity check.  I can “Restrict Visibility” to a company for Vendors and customers.  However, there is not “restrict visibility” option for stock items and non-stock items correct? It seems I need to use restriction groups for this which would be very cumbersome. Am I missing any other options? Thanks,Larry

Is there a way to view unposted Journal transactions in ARM reports? I tried searching the community forums but all the posts are 5 years or older so I am not sure if this feature was ever added. We would like to put expenses into the GL as unposted and see how it affects our finances overall in these reports so our team can make informed decisions.

Adding files attached in header files section of the particular order in the Purchase order email template automatically and option to remove before sending the emailfor eg the PO has two files attached, but when we get into the email template, we are again forced to add the two attachments along with the PO document which is redundant.Anyways it can be done.

Hello,  I am trying to create a GI that shows inventory usage (sales and issues) for a pivot table that will display the current 12 months vs prior past 12 months.  My last activity link does not seem to be displaying data for the last activity period.  I am also trying to create a formula to group periods by current and prior which I can use as columns on a Pivot Table for qty totals. Something like switch(month(today()),'1',month(today()-1),'1') then when it gets far enough back switch(month(today()-12,'2',month,today()-13,'2') but I am unsure of how to apply this in the GI. Can anyone provide help on this?  GI attached. thank you!

Hi! I am merging two Generic Inquiries together to achieve the following:If the item on shipment is a kit item, display the component items of that kit, and the vendor inventory item of that component item. If the item on shipments is not a kit, then display it as is. Issue:While everything is pulling in and displaying correctly. I am unable to drill into the item if it is a kit, and unable to drill into its related component items. When I click on them, I would expect it to take me to the stock item screen, however, it gives me the error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.If the item on shipment is not a kit item, I am able to click on the item and it does take me to the stock item screen. Any suggestions on what maybe causing this issue and where I should look at?Attached below Shipment Detail is the main GI. 

We are currently using a REST API to import our images for stock items. But when we do, they show up on the second tab of the ImageURL field. Does anyone know why/how we can avoid this? This now makes our report look like there is no image within a stock item profile.Image 1: Shows no image. Image 2: After clicking Ctrl →, this is where we see the image.   

I think I know the answer to this already (since the import scenarios tied to a business event have a data provider tied to the business event) but I figured I’d ask.I have two generic inquiries that present the same columns and data; one is based on serialized inventory while the other is based on non serialized.  I have a business event that runs through these and does some automation (a couple of GL entries).The business event logic doesn’t matter whether it’s serialized or not; the formulas within the GIs are slightly different, though.  I could probably consolidate them and have more complicated formulas, but I’m curious if there is a way to have a single business event that is tied to two separate GIs, without copying the business event (and the two import scenarios that it triggers, which is where the real magic happens).

I need to write a custom expression to map Brand from ERP to BigCommerce BrandID. it is custom since BigCommerce’s interval is a number and the ERP is a text format. We have a Substitution List designed to map the BrandID to the Brand Name too. The brand is located in Attributes, but I think it may need to be changed to Advanced for a customized expression. For the Substitution Lists, BCBrands is the name of the list.If anyone can point me in the direction for learning how to write the expressions too that would be great. I work in web development, so the expressions look familiar to JavaScript variable syntax.

Hello,Would like to inquire - is there any way of calculating the Freight Cost of local carriers by the number of packages on the Sales Order?Eg. each box = $15 freight cost, if the SO is to be auto-packed in 10 boxes, the freight cost should become $150.So far, I have only been able to calculate the Freight Cost by weight (per unit) or per shipment (net) for local carriers. Whereas our carriers charge directly based on packages, not weight.

How would you use Acumatica to track the cost of goods issued to a customer over the course of a year or more where the customer is billed monthly for services and stock items?Would you use projects? Service Contracts? Contracts? SP orders or Service orders? Or a combination of those features? Projects seems to be the only module that Acumatica advertises the ability to track cost and gross profit but it seems overkill for standard contractual businesses. It also doesn’t track cost in the cost budget from SP orders without some decent upfront configuration and maintenance of that configuration. Service Contracts/Service Orders doesn’t have the extensive report functionality that projects does and it doesn’t appear to have the ability to track the costs of issued materials from that service order on the service contract to get a good gross profit number the contracts module doesn't seem to allow the sale or issuance of stock items at all but it d
