What predefined User role gives access to the Storage Details By Item Warehouse Location screen in the Data Views workspace? Is there an easy way to find this information out (e.g. what role gives what permissions) without having to guess ‘what role does what’ each time?

Does someone have a import to user preferences?  specifically the default email account on the email tab?I am not sure it is possible

We had a user accidentally delete a custom object that uses automated number sequencing. I am able to restore the object from a copy from a different tenant. (<NEW>, then copy and paste). However, Acumatica generates a new ID for the object. Other objects reference this one based on the ID.Can I temporarily turn on Manual Numbering, restore the object, and use the old ID? If I do, does this operation impact anything outside of what I am attempting?

We would like to restrict visibility of Requisitions for a user to only have permission to view their own requisitions (ie, they can not see reqs submitted by other users).Is it possible to do this in Access Rights by Screen?

Hi All, @Tim Rodman , I have setup a Multistep PO Approval where I cant get the second step to work. The first step is for two users to approve where I have used the “Collect All Approvals….” (Rule Actions\On Approval which works fine).  If the PO is < $15,000 then it need not go further and can be approved.The second Step is where I am having the issue.  I have read the documentation and applied the rules but am still having issues. Please see attached for setup.Any help appreciated.Cheers,Laura

Hi All,I am setting up a map with the following:Level 1: The employee is from the Department PR. When creating an Employee Time Card, it needs to be approved by the Group Project Admin Level 2: After Level 1 is approved, Group DM will be approved as Level 2 Level 3: After Level 2 is approved, Group Management will be approved as Level 3 Company Tree Setup With the current setup, I got issues as explained:If Approver Level 2 belongs to only Group DM, they can't open the Time Card If Approver Level 2 belongs to Group DM and Group Project, they can open the Time Card. However, they can approve a Time Card with the skip on Level 1This is quite similar to creating a multistage approval with instructions on  Acumatica. However, this document is out of date and can't be applied to my current version 23R1.Hope you all can help!Thank youYên Chi

Can an employee record that was deleted be recovered?  I deleted employee (0000709) because there was a duplicate.  But I actually need to use id 0000709 for an employee.  However, if I try to set an employee ID to 0000709 now it gives the following error.  I figured if I could recover the deleted record, then I can simply update the other information for that record.  What's the work around here?

I am able to configure all related web services, set up the database and even install a new instance of the application as per the installation guide for S100. However, when I actually try to launch the application from the Application Maintenance screen, I get the message “The system cannot find the file specified”. I don’t know what file it is looking for exactly, because the folder C:\Program Files\Acumatica ERP\AcumaticaERP does exist and is far from empty.I tried installing 2024 R1 Update 7 and 2023 R2 Update 8 to no avail. I am running SQL Server 2022 Developer and have no issues with connecting to the database with the SQL Server Manager.The log isn’t much use either. It just says “[08:13:34 ERR] The system cannot find the file specified” - again not specifying which file exactly it is trying to access. I am running ESET and Malwarebytes on my PC. I have disabled Malwarebytes completely and reinstalled Acumatica itself from scratch and created a new instance to no avail. I could

Hi, I have a client that wants to hide the Approve, Approve All, and Reject buttons at the top under Approvals. See print screen below. I went into security preferences and found the Approvals section but no additional options. I cannot find the option to do this. The Data Field is called EPApprovalProcess. Is this found somewhere else or can it even de done? Please let me know. Client is on 2023 R1.  Thanks,Frances

I have a list of about 50-75 different Case Classes.  I want to add an attribute to all of them. Is there a way to mass update all of them?  Or do I have to do them “one at a time”?Just simply looking for an easy way.  If I have to do them one at a time that is fine.Thank you,

We have a single company with multiple branches. We have a logo set on the company level. I want to remove the logo from the company and set up a branch-specific logo. I don't see a way to remove the logo from the company settings.   

Good dayI have upgraded from 2022 R1 to 2023 R2 by installing the file from the community website. I did a direct upgrade from built Build 22.106.0015 to the latest built on 2023 R2.After first upgrading the database and finished of updating the website and all processes were successful.The Instance I upgraded named BuffaloDB. When I then tried to Launch the application I got the error message shown below, “HTTP Error 503. Service unavailable”What could be the issue?I even did a new separate instance to see if I can login I manage to create a demo instance but the one I tried to upgrade from 2022 R1 failed.  How can I make the upgraded instance from 2022 R1 to 2023 R2 work? On this installation it is on VMWARE as a way of testing the upgrade in the actual production environment.Also on this installation I do not have .NET 4.8 framework could it be the issue?

When our consulting firm set up our users in Acumatica, they set our AR Admin with a default dashboard as the AP Clerk (with no other options) and our AP Admin as the AR Clerk (also with no other options).How can I change the default dashboard to show AR Clerk with our AR Admin User and the same with our AP Admin? Also, when I went to the homepage on our AP Admin’s User Profile and added the AP Clerk as her homepage.  Nothing changed.  We are using 2024 R1 Version

Hello, I need to give edit access to Invoice->Financial->Customer Tax Zone (see screenshot below) to a role. I cannot find the node in Access Rights by Screen that controls this field. Can anyone help? Can anyone help me with how to navigate to an access node with a known field?  

Hi,I’ve recently configured our Acumatica instance to provide an additional OIDC authentication provider via an IdP that we control ( Auth0 ). My question: is there a way that I can link directly to this additional authentication provider rather than sending a user to the Acumatica login first?An example scenario: An end-user logs into our own internal platform where Auth0 is the primary authentication provider. Then, we would have a link in our platform where we direct the end-user to Acumatica, but we’re sending them to authenticate against the additional OIDC provider we’ve configured directly rather than sending them to the default Acumatica login page and having them click the button associated with our new OIDC provider. Basically, I’m trying to take out that additional button click.Thanks
