Hi, I am in the process of implementing email in Acumatica and have been having difficulty in figuring out how to have the users email address populate automatically in the email that is being sent. My current setup is that each user has there own email configured as a system email. Currently, when sending an email from any screen the email field remains blank and the user needs to select the email that they wish to send from. I do not wish to have system emails that are department based...I would like each user to send and receive from their own email address. Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks.
When Acumatica for Alexa demoed in 2019, we were excited. Downloaded the Customization Package (CP) and installed for 2018R2 at the time, able to link Alexa and Acumatica,and able to test the skills. Come 2021, revisited Acumatica for Alexa and installed CP in 2021R1. Failed to link. Raised ticket with Acumatica and was told by your remote support, its at Amazon’s end. Spoke to Amazon’s customer and the simple issue of linking has yet to be resolved. Anyone else encountered same anomaly of this pre-release software?
Hi During setting up Azure AD for client, there was notification given in Azure itself which recommend to use Microsoft Graph instead of Azure AD Graph which had deprecated since 2020. By 30 June 2022, Azure AD Graph will no longer be in service.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/migrate-azure-ad-graph-overviewDue to that , the client request us to use Microsoft Graph but inside Acumatica 2019R2 and R021R1 setup guide we still using Azure AD Graph. I just want to know is there a plan to support with Microsoft Graph. Is Acumatica R021R1 support Microsoft Graph?
I saw from another community topic that Acumatica can automate sending a reply message to incoming emails...how is this done? Is it through Business Events or some other means? Here’s our scenario:We are using Cases to bring in all the service requests that we receive from a shared mailbox. These service request email notifications require that we “accept” the service call within x minutes. They also require that the “accept” be appended to the end of the existing subject line.Example of the original email subject: DISPATCHED: Work Task 22350022 Store 26094 Priority 2 - MediumExample of our accepted reply: RE: DISPATCHED: Work Task 22350022 Store 26094 Priority 2 - Medium accept Back to the original question… can this be done through Business Events or another means of automation that does not involve customize development?
Greetings,After downloading the most recent package on the Apply Updates screen, clicking Install Update throws the following error:The website contains a published customization. Click Customization Compatibility to validate the compatibility of the selected update with the customization.When I click Validate Customization (I do not see Customization Compatibility), I get the following error:There are no customizations, published or unpublished, showing on the Customizations screen.Does anyone know what I am missing?Thank you!Kimberly
Good day,We have a QB-ACM project in progress. The vendor has informed me that the snapshot restore process takes at least 40 minutes every time from the development tenant to the migration tenant. It seems that is restores the entire databases between to the two tenants. Does anyone have an idea how to speed up the snapshot restoration process? We are migrating over 2 years of data from QB ro ACM. (The vendor has requested that we get him a separate ACM; I would like to avoid this). However, I would to make the process efficient. I need to know how to give someone rights/access to delete uploaded files.For example, we upload item drawings to the item’s BOM and when we have a new/revised drawing, we want to delete the old drawing and upload the new drawing.Where do I go to give someone permission to delete the file attachment???
I added the Outlook plug in on my local Outlook and would like to switch which user it logs in as.I am using 2021 R2. It has a Sign Out button, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.I tried removing and re-adding the plug in, but it is keeping the login info so I can’t change it. There must be a file somewhere this is kept?
Hello,We are new install and working through our implementation. Have come across an issue that I’m hoping folks on this forum may be able to help with.As soon as we setup Segmented Key for our Project ID, and had 3 of the 4 segments turned on for validation (ie… only certain values can be used in that segment); now our ‘Non-Project’ code we setup in preferences no longer works?Is this a product defect/bug?As soon as I turn the validation off in the segmented keys, the non-project functionality works again. I realize that I can make a ‘dummy’ project that follows the segmented values setup, but that kind of defeats the purpose of this functionality to begin with.Anyone else run into this issue? Perhaps there is a hot fix to address this? Thanks, Lars
Hello Community,I have a customer running Acumatica ERP 2020R1.A user signs on to Acumatica ERP and goes to Bill&Adjustments. When the user selects a bill (open/balanced/hold) the page takes too much time to complete to the point that if the user clicks on any of the fields , the system throws a message box informing that: “Page Unresponsive - you can wait for it to become responsive or exit the page.” The page loading time is not that much if it happened one on a while but as the user gets this delay on every document then the wait causes some work delays and frustration.On the other hand, if the user performs the same tasks (under the same conditions) but now using Edge, the page load time is definitely faster and more acceptable. The user runs Goggle Chrome 92.0.4515.131 Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Would anyone know if this issue is somehow related to Google Chrome settings ? Could extensions be interfering? Any inputs are appreciated.
Hi folks, Hope you are doing well. During using Acumatica ERP, recently we have such a quest about updating a closed invoice.The details will be:Create a custom db field on invoice screen AR300010. Add it to UI. Closed the invoice. Update value on this field.Looks once an invoice is closed, all the fields get locked down.We wonder that is there a way to make that particular field editable even on a closed invoice? Best regards. I need to make a new screen for the customization of fields and attributes with the same functionality existing at the CS205020 level but with a new table es-that it is possible to redo it or to access it at the CSAttributeMaint2 to access it to the code
We are wanting to upgrade from 2020 R2 to 2021 R1. We are on premise so we need to move the a snapshot to a test environment. We have been on acumatica for just over a year and our snapshot is already to large to import with the default settings. We have adjusted the webconfig to allow for our snapshot size of 1.5 Gb (we are just over the limit with our snahot being 1.1Gb).We now get the error “Error: The file is not found, or you don't have enough rights to see the file” I have tried importing from the server directly with the snapshot right in the c drive. I have tried creating other snapshots, thinking the first one was corrupt.We do have custom fields created and need a way to bring the snapshot over for proper testing. What would the official way of doing this be?
