How do I deactivate a branch that is no longer being used in a live Tenant.
I have gone into the branches and uncheck the active box for the branch I want to de-activate, BUT when I do that and SAVE it goes back to active.

Are you logged in as Administrator while trying to deactivate the Branch? If not, please try while logged in as Administrator.
Are customizations published on the site? If customizations are published, please try de-activating your branch with customizations temporarily un-published. Are you able to de-activate the branch with customizations temporarily un-published?

First you need to deactivate all the Warehouses of that Branch.
Then go to Branch screen => Uncheck "Active" => Click Save

Is the Branch you are trying to deactivate the only Branch in its Company? If the Company has only one Branch then please try deactivating Company and Branch at the same time in Company screen.
Do your companies have Branches requiring Balancing? Or branches do not require balancing?
Are there any messages in Tools → Trace that could indicate why the Branch status returns to Active?
