Are there companies or freelancers that Acumatica users call on to create customizations, do you depend on your partner, do you have someone in-house? I’m curious if partners are all at the same level and what the expectation is for customizations. I have a request that I would consider very simple for someone knowledgeable. I have sent the request to our partner, waiting for response, but depending on their workload/knowledge/skills, it may not be something they are interested in helping me with or it may be a long way out on their timeline. All I want is to automatically print labels for PO receipts. I thought this would be easy as other software packages we have used have had this. We do not have the WMS and the existing manual Inventory Item Labels are cumbersome to process and would waste a ton of labels since it prints a whole page.

Hello, I am working with the Customer Locations AR303020 screen.Note: I added a “pencil” button to the right of the Location field on the Sales Orders screen to launch the Customer Locations AR303020 screen as a popup..My Experience level:Less than one year. Issue:The Location Selector does not execute a LocationID_FieldUpdated or a LocationCD_FieldUpdated event (tried both, I only need one of them to work for what I am doing). When I change the Location Selector value in Debug at runtime, my breakpoint (in red below) is not respected and the code is skipped.Sample code:  protected void Location_LocationID_FieldUpdated(PXCache cache, PXFieldUpdatedEventArgs e, PXFieldUpdated InvokeBaseHandler)        {            if (InvokeBaseHandler != null)                InvokeBaseHandler(cache, e);            var row = (Location)e.Row;            row.OverrideAddress = true;               // This code is expected to be executed when the

I have a customer who wants to restrict user’s ability to modify another user’s record. For example, if one user creates a sales order, another user (who is also able to create sales orders), cannot modify someone else’s order. Is this possible?

2 of our customers have asked us to hide the Update IN and prepare invoice screen on the shipment screen.I tired to do this with permissions but am not well versed in it. After some research, it looks like I will need to do it through a custom work flow.Is this the right way to do this? Can I tie different workflows to specific roles? If not, do I just create a new screen based on it, add it to the site map and tie that to the role? All advice appreciated and thanks in advance.

How can I detach the customer, vendor, and employee segmented keys from the bizacct parent key?

I don’t see any API endpoints for Acumatica’s Payroll module, in either the screen APIs or REST. Maybe I missed it. Is there any ability to integrate programmatically with the payroll module?

Hi guys,I have some difficulties understanding account groups and labor rates. Could anyone please help to explain my thoughts below? Thanks! For account groups, I couldn’t really get why it’s necessary. To track the cost of a project task, if I could appoint an expense account directly to it, why do I have to configure an account group for this expense account? As for labor rates, suppose that we have an employee who receives a fixed ammount of salary, 500 dollars every month. But we still need her to clock the time card for the projects she’s working on, so that we could bill our customer based on the hours. How should we set the labor rates then? I’m also worried about the impact on our accounting book. Since there’s a link between the non-stock item of labor type and this employee’s time card, and the non-stock item has a certain expense account, will it affect the balance of the expense account in the accounting book on release of the time card? Furthermore, if the employee’s time

By using PXUIFieldAttribute.SetEnabled we can access to the fields and modify their properties. I was wondering how.we can access to the standard buttons like as ok, cancel … on the smart panels and modify their properties?

This may seem like a silly question but…How do you make a wiki article visible to the Global search field in Acumatica? We’ve created a wiki and published it but Acumatica doesn’t find it when we search for it.

Hi, I’m trying to add the Add Stocked Item popup to the mobile sales order (SO301000). I had success add the list of items (InventoryLookup), however I want to add the filters and its not working.I’m trying to follow the documentation https://help-2020r1.acumatica.com/(W(4))/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=7244493f-a03a-4efa-9cef-18f2d4f08682 RedirectToContainer="InventoryLookup$List$InventoryLookupInventory" update screen SO301000 { update container "OrderSummary" { add recordAction "AddInvBySite" { behavior = Void redirect = True redirectToContainer = "InventoryLookup$List$InventoryLookupInventory" } } add container "InventoryLookup" { visible = False fieldsToShow = 6 listActionsToExpand = 2 formActionsToExpand = 3 containerActionsToExpand = 2 type =SelectionActionList add field "InventoryIDInventoryCD" add field "QtySelected" add field "Description"

How can we view a customer’s historical high credit balance? Would be beneficial to see their high balance, compared to their active balance to assess the customer’s credit limits and worthiness. There is nowhere to see customer key payment indicators on the customer profile. Average days to pay, and historical high credit balance would allow our business to take preemptive action before allowing a customer to extend themselves too far.

I’m trying to connect ODATA to excel as well to PowerBi.I’ve followed some YouTube videos but keep coming up with issues.  Has anyone had success with these connections? I feel it would be really beneficial for reporting and the excel reports I currently have linked with VLookups.

I was following this training guide that I found on google.  Oddly enough I can’t find it via the actual website.Anyways, I’ve gotten so close on getting my program to work in VS.  I was following the example in this file for exporting warehouses starting on page 11.I keep getting this error.  I’ve tried everything I can think of.System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException  HResult=0x80131501  Message=System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> PX.Data.PXException: API Login Limit   at PX.LicensePolicy.PXLicensePolicy.CheckApiUsersLimits()   at PX.Data.PXLogin.PX.Data.IPXLogin.LoginUser(String& userName, String password)   at PX.Api.Services.LoginService.Login(String login, String password, String company, String branch, String locale, String prefix)   at PX.Api.ContractBased.ILoginServiceExtensions.LoginForSoapApi(ILoginService loginService, IMultiFactorService multiFactorService, String login, String password, String company, String

I would like to know if there is a way to create draft purchase receipts to track incoming stock. I have attempted to use the Purchase Receipt form but the problem with this is that the moment stock is on a receipt, even if that receipt is on hold, it shows as “Available” in the stock inventory summary and in some stock views. If it were possible to do this it would be an ideal place to store the transit documentation such as the Bill Of Lading and Customs documents and it would be even better if we could somehow use it to give insight/visibility internally on when stock is due to arrive on a line by line basis via a custom GI. Thoughts, comments and suggestions will be much appreciated.  @Naveen B  @Chris Hackett

Are there any repercussions of creating a Fixed Asset without an AP Bill (bypassing the Convert to FA step)? Create Fixed Asset Debit FA and Credit FA Clearing Then Create Cash Entry to record the transaction Debit FA Clearing and Credit Cash This would bypass the AP Bill process completely and I want to be sure there won’t be later problems.

Hello, One of our customers has the following problem: he wants to use the creation of matrix items with only 2 attributes: sizes and colors, for which he has respectively 400 possible size values and 4500 possible color values. When he uses the grid in the template screen for matrix items, it simply can’t be loaded and he can’t use this functionality. He doesn’t want to break down the number of possible values in his use case. I have tried this myself with 200 values for 2 attributes, and indeed the time to check a box in the matrix item creation grid, takes at least 5 seconds before I can check another one. Have you ever encountered this kind of situation? Would you have an idea how to handle this request? Customization project or other? Thanks in advance for your feedback! Have a nice day!

Is there a solution in Acumatica for tracking payments to foreign vendors for US Sourced Income? Or anything that helps with 1042 reporting?

I have added a custome dialog to AP Bills. What I would like to happen is to force user to enter an “Assignee”. I have set the DAC to validate null values. in my dialog screen it shows * by the field but when user clicks on OK button, even if this field is not entered the dialog continues while it should raise an error that this fieled is not entered. below is my partial DAC: #region Owner public abstract class owner : PX.Data.BQL.BqlInt.Field<owner> { } protected Int32? _Owner; [Owner(Required = true, ValidateValue = true)] [PXDefault(PersistingCheck = PXPersistingCheck.Null)] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Assignee", Visibility = PXUIVisibility.SelectorVisible)] [PXRestrictor(typeof(Where<Contact.contactID, NotEqual<Switch<Case<Where<Current<EPRoutingPanelDialog.status>, NotEqual<EPStatuses.routed>>, Current<AccessInfo.contactID>>, Zero>>>), EPMessages.AssigneeCannotBeSameAsTheCurrentUse

We are getting the following errors at various points: Error: An error occurredduring processing of thefield Branch value 23 Error:'New Segment' of 'Branch'does not exist in thesystem. Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Receiving Branchvalue 23 Error: 'New Segment' of 'Receiving Branch' does not exist inthe system. I am stumped as to how to troubleshoot this.  Any ideas where to start?  We don’t use Branches in our system.

I have a client with the following requirement:When they process a proforma invoice there can be a delay of 2 to 3 weeks before the customer agrees on what they are going to accept on the bill, and they can process the AR bill, which may be over a period end. They want to be able to record a type of WIP entry, debit WIP and credit Accrued Revenue, for the value of the Proforma invoice so that the revenue is recognised in the period in which the proforma invoice is raised.I have looked at how this could be achieved and cannot see how to achieve this. The Allocation Rules essentially cover the posting of WIP when project transactions are created and are then reversed when the when the AR bill is generated/released.I tried to create two tasks:On one task, I create an allocation rule to allocate Cost to WIP.On the second task, I created an allocation rule to allocate WIP to Unbilled/Accrued Revenue, and Billing Rule to select from Unbilled Revenue and post to Revenue. But it seems that when
