Looking for anyone in the Construction Industry that is charging projects a “Billable Rate”.We are moving into acumatica and are looking to use the timesheet entry screen for timesheets but need the system to be able to charge the jobs a billable rate from the hours on the timesheets. Then be able to see the actual “cost rate” on the project to see profitability on the projects.Has anyone come across this?

After I generate recurring journal transaction, there may be an additional account line to be inserted. Is there anyway to move the line item instead of having the line item always appear at the bottom of the journal entry as it was added last?

We have a system email account created using Azure Modern Authentication and it is working properly. However, we are trying to add an additional system email account and when we use the already created External Application connection is it returning an error stating that it cannot be found: Do we need to create a separate External application for each email?

Is there a way to add the link of the screen you want to navigate to on the email notification that goes out when the event is triggered. For example: a business event goes to our dispatch team to create an appointment from a specific service order. Can we add a link to that email so they just click on that and it opens up the service order that needs the appointment made?

Hi,Client would like to import the data from Salesforce into Acumatica. They have file attachments in the Opportunities and Accounts records in Salesforce and would like to get them imported into Acumatica when we import the data using the import scenario with Data provide type "Salesforce Sync". How can we bring those attachments using Import scenario or is there any other optional available? Many ThanksAdeel Ahmed

Can we key a payment transaction in a cash account along with a loan account with bill/invoice in 1 journal? For example, payment 500 USD bill for a supplier, 100 USD from a cash account, and 400 USD from a loan vendor accountCurrently, in ACU, we have to record the payment 500 USD bill for the supplier with a cash account. Then revert back of 400 USD cash account to loan vendor account.

Dear Acumatica Community , Is there any possibility to make the accounting transaction with different strings, like SBU, Departments etc? If yes, where is this settings For Example, When i am booking the invoices i want to see the SBU and Department along with the GL.

I’m getting an error when deploying a package with a custom screen to another instance of Acumatica. You can see in the screenshot below, that an extra comma is being added to the create table statement. I have other tables in the package that do not seem to have this issue.I deleted the table from the package and re added it to trouble shoot, but I got the same error.I did not see anything odd in the customization item. I included the xml below (slightly modified to rename the table) <Sql TableName="MyAddress" TableSchemaXml="#CDATA"> <CDATA name="TableSchemaXml">
  <col name="CompanyID" type="Int" default="Zero" /> <col name="AddressID" type="Int" identity="true" /> <col name="MyNbr" type="NVarChar(15)" /> <col name="IsDefaultAddress" type="Bit" /> <col name="AddressLine1" type="NVarChar(50)" nullable="true" /> <col name="AddressLine2" type="NVarChar(50)" nullable="true" /> &

Hello. We would like to append a running operation number (custom field) for each batch of printed reports, but only when we print via bulk processing. For all printed records, it should be the same number and only increment when we start another operation via the bulk processing screen. This would be useful for a history and for the ability to sort records by operation number.Example:Order 2728# | Operation: 1Order 2872# | Operation: 1Order 2879# | Operation: 1#Stop - #Start of next mass processingOrder 2218# | Operation: 2Order 2389# | Operation: 2#Stop... and so onIs it clear what we want to achieve? If yes: Is this possible in any way?

Hi Acumatica Community,At the time of customer creation , Customer ID is a mandatory field. Is there any settings to make this field system generated? I have got this requirement from user, they dont want to manually enter customer id, rather it should be a system generated chronological ID.

I set up an approval map for this.Assigned it and the notification template in AP preferences.Everything seems to work, except the email notification doesn’t get created. The system email account is set up and active. The employee on the approval map is extended as an employee and has a valid email address.Any thoughts?

Hello Everyone,I’m wanting to allocate items to a production order but 99% of our inventory is lot controlled. It looks like this feature isn’t currently available for lot-tracked items, do we have any idea when this feature will become available or if there is a way to allocate lot tracked items to production orders?

Do approval maps engage when an existing document is changed, or only on creation of a new document. We want to know when a change occurs that changes the total on a project. This seems like this would trigger an approval anytime someone hits save on any project with a value.Does it trigger if a change is made to an existing project?

We’re using the SAAS version of Acumatica and are still within our first year of using the application. Recently one of our users deleted an account by accident. I’d like to ask if there are best practices for disabling account deletion in general while still allowing accounts to be deleted when necessary. I assume we could use roles to determine who can delete accounts, yet it was a senior person that accidentally deleted the account, and the situation was confusing so the prompt to confirm the deletion didn't prevent it from happening. I'm wondering if a better practice might involve an approval process where any deletion requires approval by another user. Is that kind of workflow possible in Acumatica? Another idea would be to only allow account deletion in a 'super admin' account so that anyone needing to delete an account would need to log out and then log into the super admin account, and only certain users would have the super admin credentials. How is this kind of thing handled

Is there a way to run the fixed asset balance projection reports to show the detail by asset? The standard report only shows summary data for all assets and I have a client that needs to see projections by asset for their tax books.

Good day,Is it possible to use a UDF/attribute on the stock item in an import scenario to add lines to a Sales Invoice using import scenarios? We’re entering some sale agreements with a third-party retailer, who will sell our products in their stores and then send us a sales report of the items sold. Unfortunately, they are unable to use our Inventory IDs in their sales reports, so we would need to find a way to generate sales invoices whereby we can use the third party’s item identifier to look up which stock item should be used to import the invoice. This would likely be similar to the idea of using e.g. @@InventoryID, etc. on the usual imports, but in this case, we would need to select which stock item to use by looking at the attribute value.Any assistance is highly appreciated.

Hi All,I got 1 item that has no customer price class, no customer price, and only 1 base price - 1 carton = 3 usd.item convert - 1 carton = 3 canswhen I create SO and pick 1 can - it will automatically key unit price = 1usd even though I haven't imported that price. So it means when I update the sale price for 1 unit, and that item has more than 1 convert, the system will auto calculate the sale price I import to other converts. Thanks for your advise,Yên Chi

Hello, On Hand, Available, Available for Shipping, and Allocated quantities are visible at the bottom of an inventory transaction screen. The Allocated quantities seem to always show 0.00, even if items are listed on the “Inventory Allocated Details” inquiry. Does anyone know what field the Allocated quantities is pulling at the bottom of the screen? We need to add it to another screen and also understand why it is 0.00. Thanks so much!

Hi Everyone, I am trying to figure out where I could set the revoked access to user access rights by role for current cost in the stock item screen. I revoked this in the inventory item and item/warehouse setting but it seems reflected again on the screen. Is there a field that I missed? Noted: I already tagged the access to specified users and set it as a view on the above setup (Inventories and Stock Items). Stock Item Screen Set up: Inventory Iten Set up in Item/Warehouse Settings

We have a customer site that has an extended 2 hour timeout on user sessions. However, after upgrade to 22R1 the mobile app is requiring users to log in every few minutes. Is there a separate setting from the site timeout limit that can be updated for the mobile app?

For some reason the pricing sync for Big Commerce when you have multiple units of measure enabled is to use the base unit and not the sales unit. This is a major problem because customers build pricing based on the sales unit and not the base/stocking unit. How do we go about getting this changed? This is a critical issue for one of our clients. https://help-2021r1.acumatica.com/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=994bc074-79eb-403b-81c4-9545d470a01dLimitations of Sales Price SynchronizationUOM-specific prices: In Acumatica ERP, if the Multiple Units of Measure feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form, you can define a sales price of an item for each of the units of measure in which your company sells this item. However, only prices defined for the base UOM can be exported to BigCommerce.

We are about to upgrade from 2020 R2 Build 20.208.0031 to 2022 R1 Build 22.109.0023. We have noticed that our GIs that are actually on production are not in sync with those that are in our custom code package. This is the result of direct edits on the production site without then bringing those changes into the code package. Our question is whether this will be an issue. More specifically, as we proceed with the upgrade, will the GIs in the code package update/touch/revert the GIs that were previously in the db/site ? Or will it leave them alone and not revert them to the versions that are in the code package? For normal package publishing and unpublishing, this has not been an issue. But since we are doing the upgrade, we want to anticipate and address any issues that may arise. Many thanks in advance.

Hello, Has anyone experienced this issue? I have followed Acumatica instructions to configure the eSign(https://github.com/Acumatica/Acumatica-eSign) but I’m getting the message below: Unable to authorize access because the client configuration is invalid: invalid_request Maybe the issue is related to the Redirect URI ? I don’t think that Esign.aspx is correct. From your end is it working? Thanks

Hi All,Would anyone happen to know where you can access the external application module within Acumatica? I’ve tried using the search function in the Acumatica ERP, but have had no luck finding it. Any help is appreciated
