Hello all,Looking to see if it is possible to change future financial periods. Currently our Financial year runs from April - March and that is how the system is configured. One small change we would like to make is the financial year naming. ie currently in the system we are financial year 2022 with monthly periods running from 4/1/2022 - 3/31/2023. For these periods we would actually say this would be financial year 2023. we use FYE (financial year ending) 2023 for the year we are currently in, but acumatica is set up as year 2022. Understanding I likely can’t do much for current and past periods I was wanting to start the new fin year off correctly. So starting 4/1/2023 I would like to create a calendar that lists that year as 2024 with the periods running from 4/1/2023 - 3/31/2024. I believe this means in the system there would be no 2023 fin year as I have been told we cannot rename the current year/periods.  Hope that made sense, in the end we really just want to change the Year l

Hi,I developed a custom screen as below. As you can see in the above screen shot, I have already saved some records to the database for the above mentioned reference number. After adding and saving record to the database as above, i need to keep the all fillable fields as non editable.I tried to accomplish this task by putting the following event handler.protected void APProforma_RowSelected(PXCache cache, PXRowSelectedEventArgs e) { var row = (APProforma)e.Row; APProforma item = SelectFrom<APProforma>.Where<APProforma.refNbr.IsEqual<APProforma.refNbr>>.View.Select(this, row.RefNbr); if (item.RefNbr != null) { //row.Currency = item.RefNbr; APProformas.AllowInsert = false; APProformas.AllowSelect = false; APProformas.AllowDelete = false; APProformas.AllowUpdate = false; APProformaItems.AllowInsert = fals

Hi, A client is using the Production Edition. The Sales Order lines can be tied to different production orders. We are trying to get the earliest start date of the production tickets and print it in the header of the Sales Order. I created a subreport that prints the Min ( AMProdItem.StartDate) correctly. I even have it set as a variable that prints $EDate = Min ( AMProdItem.StartDate). These are both printing correctly in the subreport. My question is how do I / or can I get the $EDate to be returned? When I set the Value as =$subReport1_EDate, I get a zero that prints. Or is there a better way to get the earliest start date from multiple production to print on the Sales Order.Thank you, Bill

Hello experts,I would like to have guidance from you as whenever we are about to deploy a new instance, the first configuration to be done is from the financial module. But how shall we configure the financial module from start to last? I would like to know the steps. Thank you in advance.

I have a GI that shows Serial #s for a particular Inventory ID that have a QtyAvail greater than zero.  I am using the INLotSerialStatus table.  In v2021R1, whenever I allocated a serial # for this Inventory ID on a Sales Order, it would update QtyAvail from one to zero, hence making that Serial # disappear from my GI result.  After upgrading to 2022R2, the QtyAvail field in the INLotSerialStatus table is no longer updated upon SO Allocation.  I cannot figure out which table gets updated upon SO Allocation for a Serial #.

I need to make some fields like Promise On Date, POLine Quantity editable when the Purchase Order is on the specific Purchase Order status is Open. How can I achieve this ??Thanks

I had a production order that called for qty 1 of a part PL-2-1016-H. At the end of the production run, .75 of this part was returned to me to put back into my stock room. I updated the qty required on the production order to .25 (since that’s what was used in production). I have attempted to perform a negative material release on the production order to send the part back to the stock room. I’ve been able to successfully return .75 of the part back in the stock room in Acumatica, however, when I released the transaction, it did not remove the cost from the production order. In fact, it added the cost associated with .75 of the part to the production order. I’ve attached a screenshot below. Any ideas on how to get the cost removed from the production order?

I have added a new custom field that allows user to select an account. For that I have used existing Account attribute.[Account(DisplayName = "Account", BqlField = typeof(INTranExt.usrAccount), Visibility = PXUIVisibility.Visible, Filterable = false, DescriptionField = typeof(Account.description), Required = false, AvoidControlAccounts = true)] public virtual int? UsrAccount { get; set; } public abstract class usrAccount : PX.Data.BQL.BqlInt.Field<usrAccount> { }I have a field validating event on this field. When it returns an error is shows the AccountID instead of the AccountCD. How can is solve that. Can anyone please provide an insight here.

How do I remove someone from the Calendar board?  They have moved positions and should no longer appear on the calendar board.  We have tried to add an expiry date to the schedule rule for this staff member and run the ‘generate staff schedule’ for his entry but he is still listed under ‘staff’ on the board past the expiry date.
