Hi All,I’m hoping to get a certificate an Acumatica Certificate for Field Service Management. How do I navigate through the Acumatica University to get this & Am I going about this the wrong way?

Hi everyone,With Acumatica 26 R1, I’m interested in understanding the current best practices for database performance optimization when developing customizations. For custom solutions that work with large volumes of transactional data, what database optimization techniques are recommended in 26 R1?In particular, I’d like to get the community’s thoughts on:When should we use BQL, Projection DACs, Generic Inquiries, or SQL Views for better performance? Are there any new improvements or recommendations in 26 R1 around query performance? What are the best practices for optimizing complex BQL queries with multiple joins and filters? When is it appropriate to create custom database indexes for a customization? Are there any concerns or limitations around adding custom indexes from an upgrade/maintenance perspective? What are the recommended approaches for processing large volumes of records without impacting the UI or overall system performance? Are there any specific Acumatica tools or techn

We have a project that is not yet approved, however there are already commitments (Purchase Orders) against it.  We don’t want Purchase Orders to be issued to suppliers before the project is approved.  How do we stop it, is there a setting somewhere?

Hello all,I was curious to know if we can setup the project numbering seq based on the below format:Segment 1: YearSegment 2 - auto numbring sequence. For example: if I have a project to be created in the year 2026 then the ID should be 26-001, 26-002, 26-003 and so on. However when the 2027 year starts then the Project ID should continue as 27-004, 27-005 and so on..Is this possible? Or what could be other suggestions?

In Payments in Application the Withholding Tax Tab seems missing in the modern UI while in the classic it is visible. I also tried to check the screen configuration but still the tab is missing. Is there any work around that is required or it is a system limitation for the modern ui? or is it already fix in later version?please see attached files

Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue in Engineering Workbench and Visual BOM. In BOM, the Subassembly Item BOM is set to Revision B.But in Visual BOM and Engineering Workbench, it pulls in BOM Revision A. Is this intended behaviour of these two screens? Revision A is not the default BOM for the subassembly. Thanks for your input.

Using 26R1, I’d like to hide (Revoke) the Vendor tab on the Stock Items screen (IN202500).  Can this be done via role security?  If yes, ideas on the node that would control this tab?  I’ve tried the Stock Items and the Vendor Inventory nodes to no avail.

According to Configuring 1099 Reporting information in Acumatica, the name entered into the Legal Name box on the Vendor Profile should be displayed on the 1099. However, this not appear to be the case - the Legal Name showing here is Cheryl Ogle but the 1099 is still pulling from the Account Name field and adding Ogle Properties.  Please can you advise how we can use the Legal Name field to produce the correct 1099.

Hello all,I would like to understand if we can categorise the subaccounts based on the GL A/c that would be selected at the time of creating a transaction. So if I have a GL A/c = “Fees” and I have a range of subaccounts = “Accounting Fees”, “Legal Fees”, etc. so it should only allow the user to select the subaccounts mapped to Fees GL A/c codes only & not of any other.Kindly share your suggestions.

Hi, I am trying to make API calls with O Auth 2 Authentication but facing some issues, previously I used Authentication based on Cookie. So I followed the steps to create an O Auth 2 connection, create a client id, client secret with O Auth 2 Flow as ‘Resource Owner Password Credentials. The Bearer token is getting generated when I hit this access token URL “/identity/connect/token”. The issue is whenever I make an API call with the generated token I get a 200 response with No data (image attached).  First I got a response something like this :<script>    window.open("/Main","_top");</script>So I passed the Accept and Content-Type in the header and then started getting an empty response. (Note: A bulk import is happening from Acumatica using APIs, so is this because of API usage limits? I am not sure about this)I'm new to this system and wonder if I'm missing something. Thanks

Wondering if anyone else is running into the problem where output format of LLM Prompt response being very inconsistent and display the raw JOSN into the output field. We have been using the LLM action to generate case closure notes for a while now it has been working great until recently when we upgrade to 26r1. I understand that the AI Studio requires JSON output, but from my understanding, once the response reaches to the closure notes tab of the case screen, it should display in regular text in the format we specify in the instruction.Every time when I test the prompt, the preview tab shows exactly how I want to see it. But when I click on the LLM Action button within the case, I would sometimes get the raw json with no additional formatting. If I say in the instruction that I don’t want any json or code blocks, Acumatica would throw an error saying system couldn’t parse output as valid JSON. Has anyone else run into this? And if you haven’t, what does your instruction or output f

Hello,I’m working on a customization that extends a standard Acumatica screen. I’ve added several new fields, and this customization is part of our module. When we deploy the module, we also want to deploy the related help content.I created a new Wiki and successfully added help articles for our custom screens. My question is: How can we deploy an updated help article for a standard Acumatica screen as part of our module?Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated.

Hi, so i have created this YTD GI report. I'm trying to insert in date ranges that can make me see both years at the same time. But when I finish no data is showing. Can I get help please

Does anyone know of a way to have a customer status automatically change to “Credit Hold” when they have invoices past due a certain number of days?I would like to either do that or have an automatic pop-up occur if an employee begins a sale with this customer, creates a quote for them, or schedules a service appointment. This type of reminder would be great!I already set the credit verification settings in the customer class:We’re using 2026.R1Thanks for sharing any ideas!

Is https://beacon.acumatica.com/ or is it just me?

I’m hoping someone can confirm something for me.  I’m working on an import scenario to update PO Lines.  The source is a GI that brings back POLine records that meet the criteria that I want to update.  The data includes the PO Type, PO Number, and PO Line Number.I first tried using <Line Number> (turning off the automatic <Line Number> = -1, of course).  If I use this, to get somewhat reliable results I have to subtract 1 from the line number in the GI.  But then when I hit a PO that has had a line deleted (I used one that had only one line, but it was Line 2 because the original Line 1 was deleted), I can’t select the line.If I use @@LineNbr, I can use the exact line from the GI.What I’m thinking (and this is probably one of those “Duh, didn’t you know that?” things)--<Line Number> references what line in the details grid to load.  The actual Line Number value on the line doesn’t matter--in my scenario above with the lone Line 2, if I set the <Line Number> val

Hello Team,I am working on an import scenario to add payments to a Bank Deposit and need assistance in resolving an issue.I am able to add the payment successfully using the Payment Ref., but I am unable to add the payment using the Customer Order Nbr.Could you please advise if this is supported through the import scenario, or if there is any specific mapping/configuration required to add the payment based on the Customer Order Nbr.?Thank you.

Wondering if anyone is successfully using Bank feeds in Canada? Looking for strategies that work.  The client banks at BMO and BNC and we’ve had a hard time making connections to either. We’ve tried both Plaid and MX with no real success.  We did have a connection to BMO but using a bank card instead of normal account credentials but that has since stopped working. And at one point we were able to connect successfully using MX but the Refresh did not return any transactions on accounts that definitely had transactions.  Very frustrating!

I am trying to add the customer order number on the add payments smart panel. I read that this can be done by using delegates, but I am struggling to get this to work.I added the dac: using PX.Data;using PX.Objects.CA;using PX.Objects.SO;namespace PX.Objects.CA{    public class PaymentInfoExt : PXCacheExtension<PaymentInfo>    {        #region UsrCustomerOrderNbr        [PXString(40)]        [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Customer Order Nbr", Enabled = false)]        public virtual string UsrCustomerOrderNbr { get; set; }        public abstract class usrCustomerOrderNbr : PX.Data.BQL.BqlString.Field<usrCustomerOrderNbr> { }        #endregion    }}  using PX.Data;using PX.Objects.AR;using PX.Objects.CA;using PX.Objects.SO;using System.Collections;namespace PX.Objects.CA{    public class CATranEntryExt : PXGraphExtension<CATranEntry>    {        [PXOverride]        public virtual IEnumerable payments(Func<IEnumerable> baseMethod)        {            foreach (PXResult&l

Hey there, we’re getting an error on some of our shipments when syncing them from Acumatica to Shopify. The exact error is: “This shipment cannot be processed because the shipped quantity of the 62114 item might exceed the ordered quantity in the external system. Set the same tracking number for this shipment in the ERP and in the external system or delete this shipment in the external system.” It sounds like it’s saying I’m trying to ship more than the customer ordered, but that’s not the case. They ordered 1x 62114, and the shipment only has 1x on there, I verified that. Also made sure Shopify sees there is enough inventory to fulfill the order (not sure if that would cause an issue) and we do have 22 available in Shopify which matches Acumatica. I can manually add the shipment info, but that defeats the purpose of the connector. We usually have a couple a day that do this so it’s not just a once in awhile issue. This shipment had a nonstock kit on there, not sure if that causes issu

When attempting to run Prepare Tax Report for one of our Canadian tax agencies, the system generates the following error:Error: Warning Error: : Error: There are transactions for tax(es) GST000,PST000 that could not be included into report. Please check tax configuration.I have identified that the issue stems from Header Tax Zone vs. Line Tax ID mismatches on multi-jurisdiction documents. For example, An AP Bill is created with a Tax Zone “ON”. Specific line items on the bill carry tax categories/codes for other provincial/federal jurisdictions (“QC” or “BC”). Because the Tax Zone stamped on the document header does not match the allowed Tax Zone mappings defined in the Tax Agency / Tax ID reporting groups, the tax reporting engine doesn’t include these transactions when a tax report is prepared/released. Has anyone else run into this issue and do you have a solution?

Hello!Whenever I try to open the Modern UI Editor for any screen, on any customization, I always get this error.Failed to run load modules for 'html-merge-loader.js' This is in a 2026R1 sandbox, and the exact build is Build 26.101.0225.2. I have included a screenshot below. Does anyone have any advice on what to do?

We have a client that has been stopped from closing multiple periods due to the Inventory workspace refusing to close.  There are no unreleased documents. All other modules close.  Accounts have been validated/recalculated in both Inventory and Finance. The dates and financial periods for Production Orders have all been forwarded to the next period so that they will not interfere with the close. Any ideas what could be stopping it?

I’m assuming, but not certain, since there is no documentation I can find, that I could install a local instance of MYOB similarly to Acumatica. But how?

Do the Multiple Production Clock Entry transactions ever fall off the list? Also, is it possible for an employee to use the “Clock Entry” screen and the “Multiple Production Clock Entry Screen” for recording labor?
