Solved

I'm trying to figure out the best way to sync third-party fulfillment products from a Shopify store into my Acumatica. My initial thought was to use a logic statement based on the Shopify line item vendor, and then push it into Acumatica as a generic non-stock item for that specific line on the Sales Order. However, I hit a snag because the ERP field for inventory ID isn't visible on the Entities for sales orders. I've attached a screenshot below for reference. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to make this work?

Is it possible to select which fields are (and are not) copied when using the standard copy (clipboard) action on Sales Orders? We use UDFs to trigger a few workflows. After our recent upgrade to 23r1, the values in those UDFs are persisting, causing those copied orders and reorders to not fall into the workflow. Thanks!

Dear All,please advise me  for this case:I creates an Invoice on screen SO303000 without SO/Shipment. This SO also chooses inventory idBut I don’t want to generate an inventory issue. Thanks alot!

When I create a generic inquiry, I am able to modify the order of columns in that inquiry. Is this information stored in the database? Thank You,Abhijit

We have a client who wants to import data for invoices through import scenario.  However, they would like to not have to select each resultant invoice and print.  They would rather the system print the invoices generated from the import scenario automatically.  I inserted and selected the print and email function but it does not print.  Have I inserted this in the incorrect place or what whould you suggest? If there is a way to print all invoice from a mass release that would work as well, but how is this done?Or is a better way? Thanks.

Hi AllWe are currently implementing a new business module - Subscription Fee for customers. This means that we will receive upfront payment from customers. From a financial perspective, we need to split the subscription fee into 12 monthly installments to accurately capture revenue each month.I'm not sure if anyone knows whether Acumatica can support this type of subscription fee module. If not, is there an integrator that can support and integrate it into Acumatica?I hope to hear from you soon."

Hi All,I need to add a condition to release from hold to unhold event. Based on the condition need to block transferring to unhold status. Can someone help me to achieve this?ThanksBhagya

When I got into the template item for a product we sell and try to delete one of the matrix items that we no longer offer I am getting an error. “Referenced in multiple tables”. The trace points to a number of locations including old sales orders and GL accounts entries. Is there a way to keep the references in the tables but remove from the matrix? (we use matrix to push to a number of ecommerce solutions our current work around works with some and not all)

When creating an import scenario in our expense claims, 3 out of 27 employees are not being recognized and it is saying, “Error: ‘Claimed By’ cannot be found in the system.”However, there is nothing different with these employees that we can see (2 are senior management in the same department and workgroup, but 1 is a front-line hourly employee in a category where the other 3 similar employees are fine) but we’re new enough to Acumatica that this is really confusing us. Any suggestions of what to look for?

As part of our manufacturing process we outsource components or services that we cant establish as  individual stock items. For example, part of production might involve sending elements off to be powder coated before they are sent back to us for being assembled. We raise a PO for these services using a non-stock inventory code.I am yet to find a way to record these costs on the production order, they are expensed on receipt and unlike a true inventory item they don't backflush and cant be allocated as cost to the production order. As a result our cost of production is never 100% accurate as these service elements are never included.Has anyone found a solution to this?

Hello All,I am trying to retrieve data using OData V4 but I get the error in the subject line. Everything is on my local machine and works with OData V3. Any help is appreciated why does V3 work but not V4?

Hi Team,I have upgraded my REST API code from 2022R1 to 2023 R2. As per latest RESTSharp DLL I have modified the code and able to compile. but I’m not getting response for my Asynchronous GET Method.Below is the code and Error message for your reference. Please help me to rectify this issue.Error Message: Object Reference Error.  Regards,Ramya Krishna

We have discovered that we have duplicate IN journals being created.  So far we have found them to be on Moves, Materials, Purchase orders and Adjustments.  It isn’t every time but is a couple of times a day.  Values of the journals vary significantly.  It is across our users, so not limited to one user. The journals are identical, one auto releases and the other sits in ‘unposted’ status.Has anyone had similar happen?

Having an issue with the Reassign process when approving AP bills.Bills are assigned using our Approval Map and occasionally a bill needs to be reassigned to someone outside the Approval Map. Our approvers need to put the bill on hold and enter the correct project task and cost code. Once they remove the hold they are no longer the assigned approver (the Approval Map assigns it back to the original approver).  Ideally the bill needs to be put on hold to edit and keep the reassigned approver – any help on how to make this work would be appreciated.

Hi,I am trying to create a business event with an action item to automatically create an appointment each  time a service order is created under field services. Do I need to setup a import scenario? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks,Frances

MRP and Production Orders (Scheduling Method Finish On or Start On) use a straight run time calculation to manage dates, not taking into account Crew Size for the work center.  Can Acumatica MRP and Production Orders take crew size into account? Here’s the conflict as the system works today.  In order to make MRP and Production Order dates work, you would have to add run time to the BOM equal to the straight time, and then adjust your work center Standard Cost equal to your rate x the crew size.  For example, if a BOM takes 10 hours to move through a work center, but you have a crew size of 3, really I would like to put 30 hours (man hours) of run time in that operation, and put your real standard cost rate (for one person) on the work center, say it’s $25/hr.  But to make MRP and Production Order dates work properly, currently in the system you would have to put 10 hours straight time as the run time and adjust your work center Standard Cost rate to $75 in order to account for the labo

We are in the middle of config and we are very disappointed and surprised to know that Acumatica does not print ACH remittances when payments are released. This is a core step in any payment processing. When you are paying vendors, any system prompts you to PRINT cheques or ACH remittances. This is normal “process flow” regardless of the payment method. Why couldnt ACH payment do the same (i.e. prompt us to print remittance details)??? This is very standard step/process - it is normal to print file copy of ACH remittances so they could be attached with invoices paid.Would you please share some input? Any help would be appreciated. Wouldn’t it make more sense to normalize the ACH payment process flow to include printing remittances??????

Is there a way to create custom statuses for change orders? I want my PM’s to know exactly what each thing means and sometimes “on hold” and “closed” don’t tell them exactly where it is in the process.

Looking for instructions on how to map the export from Acumatica to Shopify. I want to export the URL of the order in Acumatica to Shopify. This will help users quickly open the order in Acumatica. I can map the actual order number via the standard available fields. However, that’s a static field with out the URL. I’m looking for info on how to map the URL at the beginning.

We have a client that had an error on their production orders and accidentally applied overhead to all of their outside processes. it was not realized until the production orders were completed (NOT Closed), but there are roughly 1000 production orders that were effected. They tried to do a WIP adjustment to offset the costs, but that was not effective, as it was reversed when the production order was completed. If anyone has any thoughts on how to best remove these, that would be helpful.

I try to connected application and I receive authorization code but when I try to get access token, it show error I follow this document

Are there plans to sync the carrier over to Shopify when fulfillment occurs from a drop-ship PO?The situation we’re running into is when we sync the tracking number to Shopify, Shopify is choosing the carrier. I’m not 100% sure of their logic, but sometimes it chooses the incorrect carrier. When our customer looks up the tracking in Shopify (usually via the Shop Pay app), they are confused. Ideally, we’d be given the fields in Acumatica to sync the carrier, tracking number, and url (if necessary) so it doesn’t confuse our customers. Thanks in advance!
