Hi,I’m trying to test Acumatica’s OAuth Authorization flow using Postman. I need to implement an API that will generally be called from a website (our customer portal) and return some information from our company’s Acumatica via OData.I followed the steps in the I300 Web Services course: https://openuni.acumatica.com/courses/integration/i300-web-services-basic-data-retrieval/as well as in the reference documents: https://help-2021r1.acumatica.com/(W(2))/Wiki/ShowWiki.aspx?pageid=2930d2f7-e081-4d0e-8879-93907ce82607I am able to use the Resource Owner Password Credentials flow successfully, but we need to implement the Authorization flow, using a client_id + client_secret approach.I already created a Client in the Connected Applications screen, and set the flow to Authorization Code. Please correct me if I’m wrong: I understand that every time this API will be called, it will need to first request an authorization code from (GET) https://<Acumatica ERP instance URL>/identity/connect

Hi Acumatica People,I am working on a field updated event handler associated with the base order quantity associated with the sales orders lines.I am a newbie to Acumatica development (took the t190 course) and I want to check the value of an extension column (for specific item classes we will utilize the value in a custom column). Here is a condensed version of my problem code: ------------------------------  public class SOOrderEntryExt : PXGraphExtension<PX.Objects.SO.SOOrderEntry>{      #region Event Handlers      protected void _(Events.FieldUpdated<SOLine, SOLine.baseOrderQty> e)      {          if (e != null)           {          SOLine row = (SOLine)e.Row;          SOLineExt soLineExt = PXCache<SOLine>.GetExtension<SOLineExt>(row);------------------------------I want to view the value in the custom column and throw an exception on the base order quantity column under certain conditions.I am using PXTrace.WriteInformation calls to check what is going on a

Hi,  How can I customize the process shipment action dropdown list to include a custom Packing Slip format that I've created?  Thanks

I have to delete notes in all recently imported non-stockitems. Does anybody have an idea how can I do it?

Should I delete physical inventory types for warehouses that no longer exist (trucks)?

I have GIs that are designed to dynamically include a sales order total to either a MTD column or YTD column depending on the value of the date in the GI’s parameter. We are using grouping and aggregates to summarize these totals by Branch and Month or Branch and Year.  I’d like to display the results of these queries in a table format on a GI, meaning that the GI should have the data in the desired layout prior to exposing it to the Dashboard, but the user should be able to enter a date on the dashboard, that would then feed the GI so that the summarized totals are reflected in the results as though they were entering the date parameter in the GI as shown below where Ext Price = MTD Salesand no - I don’t want to use a Pivot table… 😉If anyone has cracked this puzzle, I’m interested in understanding how you did it.

We would like to reverse physical counts entries, can it be done?I am aware that the journal entry can be reverse but how about the items?

We sell a build-to-order product with 8 weeks lead time.  We require a minimum 20% down payment (exceptions occur, so we must account for variations from 20%) of the full sale price before we begin the build.  Here is the desired workflow:Create Sales Order with full price of product Invoice 20% of the Sales Order amount Customer pays down payment invoice via email pay (secure portal 3rd party) Apply as a Payment/Prepayment on the Sales Order The Payment/Prepayment automatically applies to the final invoice at end of the buildThe problem is that I cannot create a down payment invoice for the 20% linked to the Sales Order.  I can send the Sales Order form with an email pay link on it, but it will be for the full amount.  We can tell our customer to only pay a certain amount, but the customer will have to manually modify the amount (because the payment amount for the customer will default to the full sale price). Is there a workflow to handle down payment invoices?

Hi,   I have this problem that has been driving me nuts for the last 3 hours.  This is something that I have done before without issue.  Here is the problem.I want to show a grid as a tab on the Customer Maintenance screen (AR303000) with the data sourced from a view. There is a view called PortfolioCustomerVW, which for an example account (717) gives the following:There are 2,318 records in the data set above and the InventoryCD column is unique.  The total number of records in the views without any filters (eg on BAccountID) is in excess of 20 million and the results are sourced from multiple tables which is why I have gone for a view (for speed and performance)I have a DAC for the above which has all the fields aside from CompanyIDAnd, a graph extensionThe issue as follows:In the grid, we have multiple records for the same item.  The below shows InventoryCD ZWL004-W20 replicated many times.  I exported the grid out to Excel and saw 2,318 rows of the same item code (ie. the number of

Hi all, Hope you guys are doing good. I am trying to get customer data from my Acumatica instance using some script. Is there any API/endpoint available to get the customer screen field/data together and using code. Please guide me in this . Thanks

We have dashboards that use Power BI widgets. The tokens being used (Power BI Embedded) are still active and haven’t expired. We are not sure what is causing this issue.

Why does the “Replenishment Seasonality” settings require dates with years? If I want to define “SUMMER” as June 1st to August 31st this will be the same every year but I need to change the dates in the Seasonality settings each year?  Is there a way to define the Seasonality with just day & month?

I am testing employee labor tracking to production orders and I cannot enter an Employee ID.  The field is grayed out. I have tried clicking Current User, clicking the plus sign for a new labor entry, etc. and nothing will stick.

When an Acumatica database table includes the DeletedDatabaseRecord field, records deleted from within the application are not removed from the database, but rather that field gets set to “true”/1 and the record is ignored by the application from that point forward.  At the time the record is marked as deleted, the LastModifiedDateTime field also gets updated, but to local time rather than UTC.This is causing problems for an incremental data extract job that uses the greatest last modified date/time from the previous extract as a filter on the next extract. As I look through our data, I see that this has been happening since we went live in 2020.Here’s a test I ran this morning:  Created 3 Time Activity records.  Then updated one and deleted one.  Note how the Created & Modified dates and times are as expected except that the Last Mod date on the deleted record is 5 hours earlier than the Created DateTime (I’m currently 5 hrs behind UTC, in US Central time currently under DST).FYI -

Hi,For the setup of emails, I know you can set different emails for each branch by adding different records for the INVOICE id, as shown in the second image below. However, I have found that these settings don't seem to come through for the manual sending of emails via the window shown in the first image below. Is there a different screen I need to use to populate the From field in the image below based on which Branch I am in? Or do I need to manually select it?Kind regards,Andrew

We currently have the Shopify Connector setup and want to start using the Shopify POS.  I don’t see the Shopify and Shopify POS Connector option or Custom Connectors option in our production environment, just the Shopify Connector option. We have the Distribution Edition and added Shopify.  We don’t have the Commerce Edition, I’m wondering if that is why, or is it just a completely different license and it’ll be added after we get a difference license that includes the POS Connector?

in 2023r1 i created a customization that is supposed to print a custom report when an order’s status changes to open.  I have a PXAutoAction setup in the code and it is displaying correctly.  I added the action to a new workflow that extends the SO Workflow.  In the open state I added the new action with the Auto run allow set to true and the auto-run condition set to True. The action does not seem to be running.  I added some information trace statements to see if they would show up in the trace, they did not.Any advice or steps that you can provide will be appreciated.
