Trying to build a GI to show AP Bills approved by a specific employee (or any employee really), and can’t find a way to join APInvoice with EPApproval or EPOwned or any other DAC that can have approval data (approvedByID). Any ideas how to solve this riddle?

Hi allI need to show VAT per line in our Receivables invoice that prints for customers, but I’m finding that both the ARTran.curyTaxAmt and ARTran.taxAmt fields are showing zero.  Is there a different way to do this?

Hello,     I am writing a report to customers and would like to show the AR line amt and line taxamt.however,  The ARTran.TaxAmt is empty, and also the ARTax.TaxAmt is empty.   We do have TaxAmt on TaxTran, but is is not single line, it is the whole AR document.  Can somebody tell me where I can get the line TaxAmt directly?  Or I have to calculate it by myself?

I have been trying to set this up and getting close but failing to find how to do this correctly.  What I want is for the same process that happens when I press the email shipment action button manually to happen when the shipment is confirmed but I can’t work out how to achieve this.  Is this something I need to do in the workflow or does it need some customization code or am I looking in the wrong place completely? I managed to set up a business event which sends the email when the status reaches status confirmed but it doesn’t allow me to attach the shipment confirmation report to it so I don’t think that is the right way to go about it. Thanks, Phil

Hi All,I am creating a report that will help me identify amount of defect / return over a period of time. I used SO.61.10.00 Sales Order Detail By Customer as base report. The issue I am having is that the SOLine.ClosedQty is not able to sum based on the different order types. I have multiple order types that I need to subtract each other in order to produce the result I am looking for. Hi, We have created a Inventory Transfer with added from Location and To Location. There are Two Items. We have created a report. We changed the Existing inventory transaction report.   Mainly we are using INtran table and if we have two different location system create two lines in same table.  we tried removing the location columns. but we could not find any distinct column option. We need see only two lines in above example. Expected result as follows.   RegardsNethupul    

In situations where a service company performs a repair on a Service Order / Appointment, then realizes that the invoice should be sent to a party such as an insurance company, how might they process an appropriate invoice?There may be different 3rd parties for a customer, so parent/child companies won’t work Copying the service order to a new one for the insurance company looses appointment log information, signatures, attachments, etc. Creating service orders and appointments with may detail lines and log lines is tedious and error-proneWhat other work-arounds might be simpler?

Client will be using Shiphawk for packing. The need to generate batch pick lists in Acumatica. The workflow would be:Generate batch pick list in Acumatica Pick product on paper Accumulate product in packing area Sort and process packing of product in Shiphawk to confirm shipment in AcumaticaThe issue I’m running into is once the shipment is created and a batch pick list is generated, the shipments on that list are essentially locked until scanning is done to complete picking in Acumatica.Thoughts? Am I missing something simple?

Can anyone explain if the In-Transit Branch default under Inventory Preferences has any impact?  I have a multi-branch company and of course would have any number of branches that would be in-transit when transferring or purchasing inventory.  I don’t understand how 1 default In-Transit Branch would even apply much less make sense to be mandatory setup under Inventory Preferences. thanks for the input

Hi,I have extension classes for the ARInvoiceEntry, APInvoiceEntry and JournalEntry, each has a action button called “ChangeSomeField”, which needs to be on the Action Menu.For ARInvoiceEntry, the base class has an ActionsMenuItem.AddMenuAction() which I can use to add the action to the action menu.  From what I can see in the code this is because they ARDataEntryGraph which implements the IActionsMenuGraph.For both APInvoiceEntry and JournalEntry, from what I can see they’re base classes do not implement this interface which means I can’t access the ActionsMenuItem.AddMenuAction() to add the actions to the action menu.In APInvoiceEntry and JournalEntry extension classes, how do I add custom actions to the action menu?  Do I need to implement that IActionsMenuGraph myself on my extension classes or is there another way.  Could I please have an example if either of the above two are correct?

When I process an email activity Acumatica gives an error saying “Mail Processing Is turned Off”How do I fix this, I tried to enable that option from Email Preferences screen. But I couldn’t find that kind of option there😐 

Hello Team,I have been working on AP side Bill Payment Processing. There is a scenario in which the Bills are created with different Vendor Name and get released and now while making the Payments I need to apply the same Bills using “Document to Apply” for a different Vendor. eg. I have Bill Payment with the Vendor Name “XYZ” and Bill has been created with the Vendor name “ABC”. How to apply Bills of different Vendor Name to the Payment ?. Does Parent child relationship will work here? 

Is there a way to change the vendor once the purchase order has already been received in? 

I have two UDF’s in the CRCase table.  Those UDF’s are derived from fields in a custom maintenance table.  The UDFs are ServiceTypeCD and RecordTypeCD and they come from the custom maintenance table.When a user tries to delete a record from the maintenance table, I want to make sure that the record isn’t in use in the CRCase table (no references in CRCase to the record in the custom table).This is the event I am using to trap this.This is a BQL select statement that I would use if I was just pulling data from the CRCase table if I was not looking for a UDF in that table.  Just to make sure it compiles, I put CRCase.caseCD in the Where clause (twice).  These *should* be the UDF fields.  I don’t know how to reference the UDF’s in a BQL select for a standard Acumatica table.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated. protected void _(Events.RowDeleting<SSGCRServiceTypes> e) { SSGCRServiceTypes row = (SSGCRServiceTypes)e.Row; if (row == null) return; CRCase finditem = SelectFr

Hi all, I have been trying to find a list of the differences between the different industry vertical versions of Acumatica. Is there such a list? I am concerned about changes in the payables module. Any help would be appreciated. 

I need to create a link on each line item(Inventory Item on a sales order) of the graph on page PO505000 that will pop up a screen showing all of the vendors for that item and the cost from each vendor. Any ideas how to approach this?  

Does anyone have any good resources for scheduling in an environment with sub assemblies?  Do you use Acumatica data? Visual boards? Would you share your screens or process?  or visual boards?  Is there any videos or resources you could point me to learn the best practice?  do you have a dedicated scheduler?  Any comments on large vs small jobs?  Trying to get better at this.  Thanks!   

 I am trying to use Paperless Picking for the first time and ran into this issue.Create a shipment and removed hold. Create pick list and sent that shipment to the pick list queue Manage pick list, assigned the shipment to a user/picker Login in to the mobile scanner and launched the app - Warehouse / Pick, Pack, and Ship Click Next List Scan nearest location Error, see trace for details (no trace in mobile scanner) The Hold was removed from the pick list in the shipment, am I missing something.  Much thanks,Nelson

Is there a way to update the salesperson assigned to a group of customers in bulk based on state and/or zip code? We pay commissions based on the salesperson assigned to a customer account and need to change a group of accounts to a new salesperson.I set up a generic inquiry based on AR.CustSalesPeople pulling in the needed data from the location, customer and address tables. The inquiry returns the expected data and can be filtered for the needed records, however I’m not able to setup the “Enable Mass Record Update” operation successfully.What “Entry Screen” should I be using or does this need to be done using an import scenario? (I tried AR.20.50.00, AR.20.50.PL and  AR.30.30.00.)Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
