It’s working but many users will have to make edits on a regular basis and the business event triggers an e-mail again after making edits. Is it possible to hard allocate a part that is listed as a material requirement and marked for production on a parent production order? When the child production order is completed, we’ve had problems with a sales order getting shipped when the part was needed for the production order first (hence the link production order).  If we have a 3 production orders for 3 machines and each one requires part 123 so we create the production orders that will then be linked to parent machine jobs. We can also sell part 123 on sales orders too, so when a production order that is linked to a parent order is moved into inventory, why does does Acumatica allow a shipment for the part that was made and linked to a machine production order?

I would like to have the results of one widget update another widget on the same dashboard. I have a list of customer invoices that are grouped by customer and shows aging on one widget. I would like to be able to highlight one customer and have the list of their invoices displayed in the other widget. Is this possible?

Hello everyone,I have been trying to setup a restriction for an inventory item by branch, meaning that when a user has branch A selected during Sales Order creation, he is able to add the item to the SO, however if the user has branch B selected, the item is not shown for selection. This item is only manufactured in branch A and shipped directly to customers. The restriction is needed because we have users that enter orders to branches A and B.I have tried to do this with restriction groups, but only managed to do this with users + inventory item, which is not the case because the user that has access to the item can still include it in the SO when he is in branch B, AKA the wrong branch.Is there another way to do this that I am not seeing?Thanks,Clauber

How are people handling Material on Hand (stored Material) payment to a subcontractor? If I pay the subcontractor through their subcontract, it shows they completed units, which really isn’t correct.  You can override the amount box on the invoice, but I am afraid that would cause issues down the line and be cause for missed payment and confusion from subcontractors and office staff. My proposed solution is to create a change order for 0 units and LS cost.  This will show an overpayment of planned units on that line, and when we are actually paid (and stored material reduced) it will back down to zero dollars for the MOH line and positive on the actual work completed line.Any other thoughts? Thanks,Jeremy  

We have a client that has a bit of a unique product where they are mixing lots of product and creating the same product but after testing they get a new lot number. This is very similar to Super Batch in Process manufacturing. You cannot put the same product in a BOM that you are trying to put into finished goods because you cannot have a circular reference, but you can manually add the same lot/serialized item into a production order. They are looking for a solution to be able to to mix these lots of the same product, and I was trying to see if there have been any ideas out there besides doing manual adds of the lots (which may be the best option, but throwing it out there)

At least in the way we’re currently configured (on 23R1) we have the ability to receive a purchase order into an alternate warehouse; the PO Line could be written for Warehouse TX, while the item can be received into warehouse AZ.We do a number of virtual warehouses for a few reasons, but the biggest is to keep costs from potentially intermingling.  I have warehouses TX1 and TX2, and if we get a good deal for a specific customer job, we’ll purchase and receive the material for that customer into TX2, while the regular inventory is purchased and received into TX1.We have a problem with a warehouse getting complacent, not checking where the material should be received, and receiving everything into TX1 even if the PO is written for TX2.  We can transfer it back out, but it impacts average cost of those items in TX1 that we have to adjust for as well.  It would be easier if there were a setting that said that purchase receipts could only be done for PO lines for the same warehouse.

Hi,Is there any way to use the UPS Bill of Lading as a template in Acumatica Report Designer? I tried searching online but couldn’t find anything relevant.We would like to use the same layout as the UPS Bill of Lading. Is it possible to import that template into the Report Designer, or would we need to recreate the design from scratch?Thank you! Please guide

 I ran a test and updated a stock item price using the Vendor Price Worksheet. I added a pending price of $13.76 for the item, but it didn’t update the cost on the stock item or reflect the new price in the Vendor Last Price field either.I also created a purchase order and added the item, but it still pulled the old price. I'm wondering—where does the system update the cost for this item?

I have a Warranties section of a quote report that has static information on every quote. The customer also wants to be able to customize each section with additional information.I created attributes that allow the user to enter custom verbiage and I’ve added the attributes to the report: I also created a visible expression for those fields, as I don’t want them to print if the user hasn’t entered any text in those fields.The issue is that the space for those fields still prints (even with the visible expression).If you put a visible expression on the whole group, it won’t print and it won’t leave a space for the group. But I really don’t want to have to split each little section out to it’s own group.Is there a way to do what I’m asking? 

Last Read Message: The NONMEMBER price list could not be exported because at least one item in it does not exist in the BigCommerce store. Synchronize all the items in the price list, and then process the price list again.We have 4 Price Lists, and all are reading the same error.Price Lists: PREMIER, NONMEMBER, PRACTICON, WHOLESALEWe have no sync errors on the finished products. The only thing I can think of, is new products not yet ready to be installed in BigCommerce are on the Price Lists, so that may be stopping it. Is anyone familiar with this?

Has anyone figured out a way to restrict Inventory Stock Item visibility by Branch/Company?

Hi.  Is there a way to tell using the audit if a record is copied from another record?  For instance, we have a sales order that is created, but I can’t tell if it was copied from another sales order, or if it was entered as a fresh new order. Thanks!Kathy

We set up approvals on SO Invoices.  When the approval is created we want to send the approval requested email to the salesperson along with a PDF of the invoice.  I created the email template and assigned it to be used for invoice approvals.  I have 2 issues. (1) the email fires off when a new approval is created but for some reason it is creating 2 identical emails.  Issue (2), even though I have a report configured to be attached as a PDF to the email, it is not creating and attaching.  I know the email template is connecting to the correct data because in the body of the email I include the invoice # and approval ID - so it is seeing the correct data (see 2nd screenshot).   And on the report attachment screen (1st screenshot) I specified the report, it sees the parameters and it sees the possible values to select for answering each parameter.  But for some reason it doesn’t generate and attach the report.a Any ideas?   

hello all,I am looking to add an additional line of extra charges into each project AR Invoice using Billing rule. And the amount for this additional line would be 10% of the total invoice amount. How can I achieve this? I tried creating a specific task & account group for this, added this in Billing rule but the billing rule isnt going on this step.

We are 2.5 months in on the process of design with our business partner and looking to chat with another contractor regarding loading the prior year balances for projects in progress at end of year, so your current year over/under billing calculates properly.     What level for the FYE did you need to load to ensure the current year activity was properly reflected on your work in progress and completed projects schedule to reconcile to your financial statements.     Thanks in advance, we want to do the level necessary, but don't want to overcomplicate things if it isn't needed.  This is my first post.  i hope this is appropriate to pose this question here. Thank you for any insightMary DavoltBerger Contractors, Inc.
