Newbie question for 2024 R2 - Entering a line on the Details tab of SO, the profile default Branch populates as expected but user needs to change to a different Branch.  The Financial tab Branch remains unchanged displaying the user profile default Branch.Where is the setup option to have SO Financial tab Branch follow the Details tab Branch dynamically? 

Good day Is there a way to add 2 checkboxes on a GI’s columns and to be able to check them with an import scenario whenever needed?   

Any ideas!  Customer cannot generate an invoice from shipment.  A Sales Order invoice can be generated manually and an AR Invoice can be generated manually.  However, from the Shipment, the error ”‘Invoice Nbr’ cannot be empty” is returned.  Below shows that the numbering sequence for invoices related to the sales order type is not manual.   Thank you for any thoughts/solutions!

We are on 2024 R2. We are trying to get b2b on shopify and orders brought into ACM. To try and keep things simple we are keeping all company data in ACM and pushing it out to Shopify. Because each company needs at least one contact we manually loaded contacts into Shopify authorize them to order(because as far as I know, there is no place in ACM for this)I sync all the contacts bidirectionally, but I still get the message‘The sales order could not be imported. Make sure the Chris Cxxxx (7749807079526) customer exists in the Shopify store, has been assigned an appropriate role in the 944636006 location, and has been synchronized with Acumatica ERP. How do I fix this to bring in the order?

Hi, one of the employees got the wrong Warehouse in the Sales order. What are the remedy for this? Is there a way to change the Warehouse ID on Shipments or somewhere in Sales Order?

Hi all! Hope your day is going well!It's finally the slow season at my company and I wanna jump into the long list of customization projects that have been put on hold. There's only one issue: I can't get our information into any of the DB's I create through the Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard due to the Snapshot being 6GB and the limit of 1.5 for restoring snapshots in the created DB. I found this post from four years ago: https://community.acumatica.com/configuration-and-installation-114/import-snapshot-into-test-environment-6303?postid=128322#post128322But I don't understand how I would Backup the DB and the Restore it this way due to not being familiar with those processes listed.  Could someone help with a more dumbed down version of how to get my Company's data into a sandbox instance? Hello,I am importing Sales Orders.  Following the exact steps and data of my import scenario, I can manually enter the Sales Order via the standard interface.  However, my import scenario fails for any stock item that is set as a Make To Order item.  I have added a line to uncheck the Mark For Production box on the sales order line in my scenario since that is what the error message says. “The Free Stock inventory source cannot be selected because the line is marked for production or purchasing.”As a more specific test, I changed the stock item to “No Default” for “Dflt Mark For”, but left the MTO box checked.  I still get the same error.  So it must be the check box on the stock item for “Make to Order”If I uncheck the Make To Order Item box on the stock item, the sales order imports properly.I am unsure how to move past this error and any suggestions would be appreciated!Thanks!

I am working with Acumatica 2024 R2 in Reconciliation Statements screen. I need to add totals of receipts and disbursement in detail section as a footer. I am supposed to make those updates in the detail grid of the Customization Project Editor, but there is no detail grid available. I am new to this kind of configuration. Hello, Has anyone encountered this issue before?I recently un-installed and re-installed the Acumatica app on 2 Zebra devices due to personnel changes. Ever since then, the devices are not allowing the picker to scan/manually enter the pick list number (which happens to be our shipment number). As seen in the attached example, the picker would normally enter pick, pack and ship, then scan (or manually enter) the barcode/shipment number at the top of the page.When the 2 devices scan this barcode/enter the shipment number, the device errors out and says “SHP007767 is not valid.”When I try the exact same steps on another device, then it works as it should, and the picker is able to scan the barcode. We currently have a workaround where these 2 devices select “Next List” and follow the prompts to pick and pack. It is very odd to me that this issue is only occurring on these 2 devices where the app was recently re-installed. Any help is appreciated. Is there a way to set Retained Earnings to close to one singular subaccount instead of each one individually? And, if not, what is the workaround most people would recommend? Make a journal entry? The only issue I could see with that is that it will have to be done for any transactions that need back-posted to the previous year after closing. 

Good day,Does anyone have a GI or a proposal on how to print multiple purchase orders at that same time.  We have a project that requires print outs of the a certain type of purchase.  Or does the user need to print them one at the time.  Mass print does not work on the GI.  Also, PO print/email process is not set up the same as the Sales orders.Any suggestions? 

Hi AllIs there any feature or solution in Acumatica that allows for entry of an invoice amount before releasing it?Maybe similar to how control quantites work in the shipments screen? The cashier would enter the amount on the invoice as a required action before the invoice can be released.Also just a step futher, maybe enter the amount that the customer is paying with and calculate the change due as well? For example the invoice is $81 and the customer pays with $100, the cashier would enter the $100 and another field would automatically calculate the change due.I know the last inquiry is pushing it and we may need to go down the customization road for all of it. But if there is anything out there for the basics of the inquiry, it’ll be a start.ThanksAmit 

We are wanting to upgrade from 2020 R2 to 2021 R1.   We are on premise so we need to move the a snapshot to a test environment.  We have been on acumatica  for just over a year and our snapshot is already to large to import with the default settings.  We have adjusted the webconfig to allow for our snapshot size of 1.5 Gb (we are just over the limit with our snahot being 1.1Gb).We now get the error “Error: The file is not found, or you don't have enough rights to see the file”   I have tried importing from the server directly with the snapshot right in the c drive.  I have tried creating other snapshots, thinking the first one was corrupt.We do have custom fields created and need a way to bring the snapshot over for proper testing.  What would the official way of doing this be?

       Currently, in the liability section of our balance sheet, "Purchase Accrual" and "Accounts Payable" are displayed separately. Our company’s accountant has requested that the values of these two items be combined and shown as a single line item on the balance sheet.After checking, I noticed that it seems I could simply change the account class of "Purchase Accrual" from "othcurliab" to "AP" to achieve this. However, would this cause any issues? Is this the most recommended approach? Are there any better alternative solutions?

Hello all,I'm reaching out today to see how to recognize revenue for fixed fee billing projects in Acumatica. When I run billing for a fixed fee/percent complete project, it will immediately recognize the entire amount billed as revenue, even if it is a downpayment before work on the project even starts. I've been trying to build an allocation rule that will move that amount to deferred revenue and move the balance back into revenue as we put time and materials into the project, but I haven't had much success with it. I'm curious as to how some of you go about this and any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,

When entering a new customer and linking to the Parent ID, it is still necessary to populate the Bill To Info on the Child record. Is there a setting to automatically pull the parent info into the child account?
