For a tariff surcharge, if a customer’s own ERP or Accounting systems are unable to read or accept surcharge line items on Invoices from us, what options are there to get that reflected within the customer’s pricing? We were told “just increase my price” to reflect the surcharge.  Yes manually within the sales order the individual items’ pricing can be changed but we’re finding now there’s not just a few of these customers that we would need to do this on, there’s quite a ton who order frequently so we can’t manually do this every time with these customers.    If our surcharge was originally to be 5% of total invoice price, Is there  a way to get a discount mapping if one of these customers is selected, the price class automatically takes the item and then adds 5% of its calculated cost onto itself? Scenario: Customer orders 100 pins at $2/EA (40% off $5 per unit for a total $200) and 30 knobs at $4/EA (50% off $8per unit for Total of $120)Normal Surcharge of 5% of Invoice Total applie

How do I release AR Retainage  Sue

I Created a new customization project in Myob Acumatica instance in Build 2024.110.101.1720 [24.110.0017].   And did few modifications in a screen and tried to publish, it publishes successfully but after opening the customization project again it looks like below and it gives following error messages in the trace. I tried this in a cloud demo environment and in a local instance as well. But same gives the same error. I tried few customizations with simple modification (only a new field for existing screen just for testing) even such customizations are giving same error  

We just recently upgraded to 24R2 and noticed a few hyperlinks that used to open in the same tab, now open in new tabs.  For example, in projects, if we click on the hyperlink to get to the pro forma, it opens in a new tab.  Is there an easy way to revert this back to where the hyperlink opens in the existing tab? In Accounts Receivable Preferences, the Require Invoice/Memo Emailing Before Release is checked.  This is so that when an SO Invoice is created it is in the Pending Email status so that we can use the Sales Orders Process Invoices and Memos screen to email invoices and then mark them as emailed.They have an automation schedule that runs each evening to generate invoices from shippers from the Process Shipments screen, then there is an automation schedule that generates the emails for the invoices from the Process Invoices and Memos screen, and then an automation schedule runs to release the invoices using the Process Invoices and Memos screen.  All of these run 1 each at the end of the day.They have some specific invoices that they want to invoice, email, and release immediately.  I created a GI that shows Confirmed Shipments with the specific criteria.  I created a Business event with this GI that fires an Action from the Shipment screen to Prepare Invoice when SOShipment.Status chang

Hello everyone,I'm encountering an issue while setting up a Gmail account using OAuth2 authentication in Acumatica.I’ve followed the instructions provided in the official wiki/help article to configure everything correctly on both Google Cloud and within Acumatica. Everything appears to be working initially — I’m able to authenticate using the “Sign In” button under External Applications or Email Accounts, and outgoing emails are sent successfully.However, the problem is that the authentication only persists for about 8 hours. After that, the connection expires, and the account is no longer authorized to send emails. From what I understand, this is expected behavior with OAuth2 — the access token should be refreshed periodically.The issue is that the Gmail account/application does not appear on the Refresh Application Access Tokens screen in Acumatica. As a result, we’re unable to set up automatic token refresh, which means we have to manually re-authenticate every 8 hours.Has anyone e

For a while, our company has struggled with allowing reports to be accessible to employees, while making sure that they did not have access to other branches financial information.  However, we still want branches to be able to see each other’s inventory values, therefore we can’t set up Access Roles for each branch as is suggested in this post. https://community.acumatica.com/configuration-and-installation-114/restrict-access-scenario-give-a-user-access-to-specific-branch-should-only-view-inventory-quantity-from-other-branches-11782The only solution lately (that I have been able to manage) is to either create a separate GI or report for each branch. Hello, Many of our customers require before and after pictures. Our technicians attach these pictures to an appointment.  When emailing the appointment invoice, there is no way to attached pictures or any other required documents with the invoice email.  We have to download the pictures and documents from Acumatica to our computer, and then copy them from our computer to the Acumatica-generated email as attachments.  It is very cumbersome and time consuming.  Another option might be to imbed the pictures documents on the invoice document.  I have seen invoices from other software formats that allow for imbedding pictures and documents.  This option our preference.  This would allow us to see the pictures and documents when we open the invoice instead of having to go to the appointment for the pictures and documents. Does anyone have suggestions on how to include pictures with an invoice..either imbedded in the invoice or as an attachment?Best, Gail    

Hello all,I am just starting to dabble with the no code customizations using the Customization Projects. I would like to move some UDF/Attributes from the UDF tab to the Document tab of the AP Bills, and hide the UDF tab. I have added the attributes to the first column under the Form:Document section.However, what I would like to do for the layout is create a fourth column, so that they all land in their own column and do not interfere with the columns already on the page. How do I add an additional column to this setup? I would like the attributes to land in this highlighted section Thank you for any help you can offer. 

Depending on valuation method, SOLine cost is either last cost or average cost. For highly variable configured items, that doesn't work well and throws off margin calculations. Is there a way to cost an item based on the configuration, similar to what the configurator does for item price. 

We would like to upgrade our DeviceHub installation to 2024 R1 and would like to know what file(s) we would have to backup to keep all of the printers already present. We’ve taken screen shots of all the installed printers, but would like to not have to manually enter them into DeviceHub if that can be avoided.

Every now and again, I will suddenly get the error shown below that says the execution timed out when publishing my customizations. It validates just fine and then it will try to either batch sql or sometimes its some place else in the publishing process and it will give me this error. Sometimes it just goes away after a few days of trying to publish. It is very frustrating because I can have no issues one day and then have endless issues the next. Is there SQL settings I need to change or is there acumatica settings I need to change? I don’t know where to go from here. I have tried resetting stats on sql, I’ve run dbcc freeproccache, I have set the sql execution time to zero to make it not timeout. Nothing seems to fix it, it just decides to work randomly. The only thing I have noticed that might be reoccurring (I’m not sure, but I think this is true) is that it usually happens when I am either publishing fresh customizations or publishing on a fresh instance. Hi Acumatica MFG People, We have service contracts that include a replenish plan for stock items which are manufactured.I create schedules, one with a yearly schedule to replace some equipment, which we manufacture.I initiate the action, "Generate from service contracts", on my service contract schedule and get a service order which includes my item replenishment and some inspection work.My question to you all is, "I am looking to see if MRP picks up the demand of this replenishment (these are MFG stocked items).I look at the Inventory Allocatin Details report for this part and I do see the demand from this service order.I would assume with the right set-ups, execution of MRP will create production order to account for this demand, right?I probably need to take a different direction than a service contract and service order because I have no way to account for the shipping of the inventory to the customer as part of the appointment, right?Thanks,Patrick

I’m trying to create a GI that lists each Inventory Item one time and I want to show the Sales Category or Categories for each stock item without duplicating the Inventory Item. I would like the field to list all the Sales Categories that the Stock Item includes. For example, we have a Category called Machines. We have machine A and Machine B. We have several parts that can be used on both machines. When I make my inquiry I don’t want to see multiple records for the same stock item that has sales categories of each machine, I want the Stock Item Record as 1 line, but the field “Sales Categories” to list all of the Sales Categories the Stock Item is found in.

Hello all, Has anyone used browser version of Acumatica to collect signature? Like running the browser version on iPad then collect signature for DFR or Appointments?

I config inventory replenishment setup inventory planning warehouse detail when I go prepare replenishment screen I don’t see that item in the the warehouse config for replenishment but if select the others warehouses are not in inventory planning, I can see it like this  So please help what am wrong in configuration

We are often creating hundreds if not thousands of invoices a day. Our AR invoices are created after a shipment is confirmed. But all of these invoices are being created with a status of “credit hold” is there a way to bypass this step of “Removing Credit Hold” so that I can just release invoices? These sales orders are coming thru with pre-payments so there is never actually a balanced owed.Thanks!

Hello.I’m trying to create a copy of or modify the AR Aging report. It needs to be run by salesperson but should not include any customers that ARE or HAVE parent accounts. That is, excluding any parent accounts and children accounts. I know I can simply add a parameter to run the report by salesperson, but I am having trouble finding a way to exclude the parent/child accounts.I think I can remove children accounts as those customer IDs are hyphenated so I plan to filter out all customers including a “-.” However, there doesn’t appear to be any fields in the customer DAC that identify if an account is a parent such as “isparent” etc.Does anyone have any ideas for this? Thanks in advance! 

In project accounting, is there a report that shows employee hours and the corresponding billed amount by project? On our billing rule, we are generating a billing detail for each time detail. Ie. no aggregating.On the AR invoice, we see individual details corresponding to each time activity; however, it does not contain the employee ID/information. Does anyone have a way of showing the hours and amounts information on one report?

Making a POST request to the endpoint /entity/Default/22.200.001/Payment/VoidPayment with the body like "Entity": {"id": payment_id,"Hold": false,"Branch": “branch_name”,}returns a 204.  We expect that this will actually void the prepayment, but the prepayment is still active.  Is there any changes that should be made to this request to make it succeed or at least return an error

Hi there,I am new to Acumatica. We are currently running a system email account in Acumatica. We want to move to having individual email accounts set up in Acumatica. At the moment, a test user account and email were created in Acumatica and Office 365. In system email accounts, I made an email account ID and name, POP3 Incoming mail server outlook.office365.com, outgoing smtp.office365.com, incoming server port 995 outgoing 587, TLS for encryption. Timeout 2 Mins; however, when testing, it fails. All ports are open on the Office 365 side. I want to seek guidance on how to get this test account operational in Acumatica. Thank you in advance for any help and advice. 

While trying to edit the production ticket, I created two footers for group1. My goal is to put groupFooterSection3 at the bottom of the page, but the report designer automatically creates a page break between groupFooterSection1 and groupFooterSection3. Does anyone know why this behavior is happening, or how to fix it? I attached some screenshots of the two sections and the preview. From the preview, we can see that there is plenty of room to add the groupFooterSection3 to the bottom of the page, but it instead adds a page and places that section at the bottom of the new page.
