Discussions Import and Export Scenarios

I’ve been asked to bring in some historical/static data from a legacy system for a new Acumatica customer. Going to be using it for reference only via GIs I figure if needed. Some of it is quite detailed, many fields, etc. I was going to create and load new Acumatica tables to hold the data and then I realized to use the import scenarios I need a screen name. For my purposes, I don’t' need a screen necessarily. Is there anyway in Acumatica to load data directly into a table from a file, the files at the moment are given to me as tab delimited text files, without having a screen in Acumatica? I’m not a SQL expert, but I’m presuming the tables could be loaded directly via SQL commands, but wondering if I’m missing something..
I’m trying to create a bank extract file (similar to an ACH export) that has one header, summary payment records and invoice detail records. This works perfectly when I have one payment, even when I have multiple invoices paid by that payment. Attached file 1 has desired results. When I have multiple payments, the payment records are mostly correct, but the invoice detail is not. See File 2.I’ve also attached my export format file and the exported XML from the Export Scenario. All help is greatly appreciated.
Hi all, This is my first import scenario and I’m missing something simple but fundamental. We’re transitioning to MRP shortly and need to do a mass update of many different screens. One of the things that will need to be updated is our units of measure need to be consolidated. As a test in our sandbox, I exported all items (421) with the Base UOM of EACH, and I would like to update it to EACH* (an easy identifier that I can switch back).I’ve set my data provider and import scenario, and when I prepare and import in import by scenario it processes and I see a green pop up that everything was successful. However, when I go into stock items I see that the Base UOM field has not been updated. Here are my screens: The spreadsheet is .xlsx with one sheet/tab named ‘Data’ and two columns. The provider and provider object look good… but I think my mapping is off.I want the mapping to be if “Inventory ID = InventoryCD, then replace the value in General → Unit of Measure Base Unit with the value
We generate a new PO every 2 weeks for a non-ingredient item and I am trying to have Acumatica auto generate a PO every two weeks for our receiving team to receive to. I haven’t found any Business Event documentation or videos for PO’s. Do I need to create it with Import Scenarios? Has anyone had success creating this type of auto- recurring PO’s? Mike
Hi,I am trying to import GL transactions using the import scenario. No matter what I try I keep getting a me3ssage that the batch is out of balance. Here is a screen shot of my data. Any idea where I am going wrong? TIA
Hi, I'm a beginner and we are in integration phase of Acu in our company.I created a GI and an Export Scenario for this GI.I would like for specific line of my GI (EG: Lines IF InventoryID contain 'ABC2'), to export the row twice time(duplicate this GI ROW into my excel export).I think i should try it with "Service Command" , may be <LineNumber>?How to do that? Do you have an advice or examples? Thank you in advance and sorry for my english!
Hi All,Is there anyone know how to export Unit Conversion if it has 2 lines?I use Export Scenario function and add a line =Every on mapping but it don't work. Thanks in advance!
Hello,I am trying to import attributes for stock items in the fields Model # and UPC. I have not done this type of import so I need a little help. I am trying to import into these two Attributes I have created. Here is a screen shot of my mapping.Attached is a .xml export of of import scenario. Here is the error message I get:One or more Attributes are not valid. An attempt to commit a bypassed row Thanks
My issue is when using the export feature the table fills with empty values. So, we get these gaps of information. I tired making a line of code to cancel the line entry if the value was null but it doesn’t seem to be working. This causes a different problem where the table is only populated with one or two entries. The bottom code is =IIF([ItemCode]<>null, '', '<Action: Cancel>')I think it may have something to do with the restrictions but not sure on what exactly. Even trying to add a restriction to not pull empty values isn’t fixing the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi All,I have apps I made particularly in Appsheet. There are data from some transactions I want to connect with, like from SO, the client, their orders, etc. Is that possible?Thank you for any information or ideas!
Is there a way to download attachments without a customization?
We have setup the ACH payments. They work great. I found this helpful guide on adding Addenda information to the ACH Data Provider / Export. When I export the file, my bank flags errors regarding the count of entries and addendums. I have attached a copy of the modified ACH Schema from the data provider - “Example_ACH_Schema.txt”. See picture below.In the File Control Record (or File Trailer Record) section of the ACH file you can see 3 parameters - “Count”, “BlockCount”, and “TotalCount”. The first two parameters are coming across correctly. The third parameter is not counting the added Addendum as a section. Has anyone else had a similar problem when adding an Addenda?The modified ACH Schema with Entry / Addenda count highlightedExample # 1 Bank requirements for {=TotalCount:-8:0}Example # 2 Bank requirements for {=TotalCount:-8:0}
I am trying to add payment instructions to a vendor using FEDWIREBA. However, I keep getting the error message below. I don’t notice anything wrong in my payment method setup. How can I correct or bypass this? I did have to modify the ACH Export File and created a copy. See attachments. Let me know. Thanks. This is for version 2022 R1. @FrancesPantelidakis24
Good day,@Naveen Boga - Acumatica Superstar.I am trying to Create One create memo with one transaction line and apply multiple invoices on the memo so the balance will be closed on the invoice. Hello,I want to remove all NOTES from all PO lines. I created a GI and exported to excel all PO IDs and all of their line numbers.I created a data provider with these 2 fields.I then created an import scenario to replace the notes with nothing.I can get this to work for the first PO line number without specifying the line number. However, when I introduce lines into the scenario to select all PO lines, it throws an error like it is trying to add a line to the PO instead of simply updating the NOTES.For my @@Line Nbr. line, I don’t see the PO Line number as an available field. The “Transactions.LineNbr” is the only line number field available in “Internal Fields”.Any suggestions?
Has anyone imported Payroll Tax Settings from a prior system? We’re in the process of attempting this but I’m not finding a way to do so. We’re prepping to manually update our 200 employees if we’re unable to import.
We are in the process of moving to 22R2 and we have created a sandbox for testing. As part of that process we made a copy of our production DB and attached it to the sandbox for testing. One thing that we need to do is change the S3 PROD credentials that moved with the copy to point to our Sandbox S3. It seems that the information is locked and we cant change the configurations. Any help would be appreciated.
I am currently writing an export scenario to write inventory part attributes to a third party SQL table I used to print product labels. I have established a connection to the table with a data provider, and can load my data in the SQL table. However, I am struggling with the proper syntax to update an existing record. Currently, I keep adding new rows, duplicating my table. Does anyone have a similar solution / requirement I can speak with?
I am trying to import a prepayment linked to a credit card payment taken online through stripe.I have an import file which is the customer, date, value, reference and preauthorisation number for the credit card payment taken online. If I manually enter the payment as a prepayment, enter the values apart from (preauthorisation number) save, then use the action “record card payment”, enter “preauthorisation number” in the “Proc. Center. Tran. Nbr.” and save, it links the credit card payment taken online through Stripe to the acumatica transaction. When I try and import this method, it fails with “The Record Card Payment Button is disabled”could anyone have a look at the import scenario below and let me know if I’m missing anything? i am not sure if there is a timing issue between saving the record and the button being available, if so, is there a way to introduce a delay?version is 22.110.0018Thanks
I need to import Business Accounts and Contacts from the same file. In some cases there are multiple contacts in the file, each listed on a new row with the same business account information. I am auto assigning the business account ID so I do not have a unique value for two imports. I have my import scenario setup like this, the business account is created fine but no contacts are created. What am I missing.
Good morning, I am currently running into Issues trying to create multiple Transactions (one per line) from the Import scenario. It gives me the following Error on the second line of Processing:Another process has updated the 'INRegister' record. Your changes will be lost. I have attached the .xml file as well as a screenshot:
Hi All,When I run the Import Scenario below, the system is creating the first kit Assembly transaction, yet giving me this error for the following (tested that it is not record-related): We do not have any customizations in place.Any ideas? Trying to update specific sales order lines to add a 10% discount. Which I thought would be a pretty straight forward import but I keep getting an error “View name: Documet” and I can’t figure out what in the import scenario is wrong? Can someone help me out on this one. Attached is the import scenario XML Thanks
Hi all,I am trying to change the salesperson on the sales order line via a business event and import scenarioI have looked at the topic in the link below and while the solution there works for a manually processed import scenario it will not trigger a business event (which I believe is due to joins in the GI) I have slightly modified the Import scenario form the previous solution, however the salesperson only changes on the first line, is there anyway to have the import cycle through the details of each line? Thanks,Alan
