Good day,I have multi branch/company environment.  I have a new Canada Company starting shortly.  Based on what I read so far is the CA Company needs a based currency of CAD and a separate ledger.  All the CA company transactions will be done in our CA Company, separate customers, vendors, etc.  Also a new cash accounts.Ledgers:  Do I need two CA Ledgers:  One for Actual and One for Reporting? Translations:  I need to be able to report in CAD and consolidate/translate into USD for consolidated reporting.My overall needs are to have CAD reports for taxes and Consolidated reports for Overall company financials by branch.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Evan

I’m not sure why (another topic for another time) but I am seeing some astronomical unit cost and extended costs in some of our production receipts. What is the best way to adjust these to get a better inventory valuation?

Any other Acumatica users in Canada trying to implement the Tax holiday?We have changed the tax status of all our products that qualify, but any orders that were entered previous to today are still having GST applied. Is there an easier way to fix that than having someone manually change the tax status of every single item on every single invoice? We are a toy wholesale company, so as you can imagine that is a lot of items and invoice we would have to manually touch.

Is there a way to remove the page break on the Trial Balance Summary?  Ours currently prints on 3 half pages.  That is a lot of wasted space and paper.

We just upgraded to 2024 R2 last night.  We drag invoices into the Incoming Documents screen.  In the upgraded version, we can’t drag in the invoice.  Nothing happens.  Has anyone else experience this or have a fix?I tried disable / enable AP Document Recognition Services and that didn’t fix the issue.

Please kindly advise about Approval Map that Entity Type has only 2 types. Thanks so much  

Is there a way to directly invoice non-stock items through a Sales Order without creating a shipment? We have non-stock items that are job specific and need to be on the Sales Order. These non-stock items are not tangible products and do not require shipments.  We would prefer to steer clear from creating fake shipments and invoicing through AR since we would like to have a document that is connected to the specific Sales Order.  Thank you!

Hello,  This is a general FYI. I have found that the SOInvoice.PaymentAmt field is calculating the total balance of the SO Invoice, rather than the Payment Total applied to the invoice.  I created a scenario in my local environment shown below.  The SOInvoice.PaymentAmt and SOInvoice.CuryPaymentAmt should both be 100.00 to reflect the payment amount applied.   

I’ve gotten feedback that percentage complete revenue recognition functionality imbedded in the Acumatica Project Accounting module defaults to calculating revenue at the project task level. I have always seen those calculations done at the total project level, in large part because project billing milestones don’t line up neatly with budgeted cost line items. As such, I am surprised that Acumatica defaults the calculation to the project task level. I’m wondering if I’m missing something. For anyone who has implemented percentage complete revenue recognition automation in Acumatica, are you doing it at the project task level, or the total project level? 

Has anyone had experience in adding a discount on an invoice when using Avatax to calculate taxes?  We are testing and the discount is showing in Acumatica but it is not passing to Avatax.Has someone been successful in using discounts?Thanks

Hi Acumatica Community, I have a COGS versus revenue gl/subaccount problem.We want to have one branch. Think of our finished good product mix as follows:We sell road bikes (some battery powered) with a various set of product lines. We sell off-road bikes (some battery powered) with a various set of product lines. Many of the component parts and some of the finished goods are interchangeable for the road bikes and the off-road bikes and we have them all in one warehouse.Of course we would like to measure COGS versus revenue.We have decided to have our order entry staff select a customer location which will then identify the subaccount for revenue associated with the product line.From an inventory posting class perspective, we are not sure how to set-up the posting class so that for a given sales order line, the inventory transactions and the light manufacturing are associated with the same subaccount.

Is an item number required for all Deferred Revenue?  We are testing using the Deferral Codes on intercompany rent AR invoice where we are billing the next month’s rent in the current month, but ACM is requiring an item number for that.  We would prefer that we just be able to enter the Revenue Account we want it to go to without having to create an item number for it.  Is that possible?

Good afternoon,If I were to cancel an item on the order or zero it out to update the order total...is there a way to have the “Applied to Order” on the Payments tab auto update to the new unpaid balance or order total without manually having to adjust?  Thus creating a “Balance” as well on the payment tab.

Hello!I am required to identify Whether the Invoice has been Reversed from the Invoice itself. The created Credit Memo has the connection saying that this is based on the Invoice but there is no visible information from the Invoice mentioning that this has been reversed. Is there any way that I can take this information from?Amanda 

I am trying to Update the below columns using Import scenario. Unable to find the correct mapping.  

AP Doc Rec...incoming document recognized...non-inventory lines added to the detail with only a line description and an Ext Cost...upon “Save and Continue” the detail lines do not carry over to the bill and have to be reentered.Question...should the detail lines be carrying over? Am I missing something required in the lines?

Hi! Would anyone know why a CO that was recorded/approved in the correct month would not show on the Project WIP with date range report for that timeframe? The task, CO, and approval of said CO was entered December 2024. Another was entered Jan 2025 but both only show in January and nothing in December. Thanks!
