Hello experts, Canada PST is a retail Sales Tax that applies when taxable goods, software or services are acquired in in some provinces like B.C. or brought into B.C. for use in B.C., unless a specific exemption applies. The exempt companies apply and receive an exemption number and letter. We can enter this exception number in the customer profile and select what kind of exemption is. So far so good. In the Taxes configuration we have a checkbox called “Include in VAT Exempt Tax”. This checkbox is enabled only if the “VAT” is selected as Tax Type. We need to keep the PST as “Sales” because it is what really is and importantly we are expensing it on purchases as it is not VAT so can be reclaimed.I can do a bit of customization to make the checkbox available on Sales as well but I am not sure what is going to be the side effects.What logically system should do is to allow in customer profile user select the exemptio

I have a couple of automation schedules that have been running daily for a few months. For no apparent reason, they stopped a couple of days ago. You can see the Next Execution Date for the first two is 3/29/2025, but today is 4/2/2025. Other schedules have continued to run since:Can a scheduled event be re-triggered somewhere or manually run? Is there anything I can investigate to try and discover why these have started failing without notice? 

Hello,We currently have Acumatica set up as a single company with multiple branches. We are looking to limit certain employees to a singular branch. I’ve set it so when they log into their account, it is set to their branch but they can change it easily. I’d like to set it so once it is set to their branch, that’s their home. Please help. Brent

Hello mates!I know about struggles with upgrades between major Acumatica versions. Even regular minor updates sometimes bring the pain.So I was thinking, one does spend so much on testing and acceptance, on troubleshooting and fixes, I bet it just never pays off, whoever you are - either a VAR or an ISV. Maybe there is a way to cut it by doing automated tests? Basic or advanced tests that cover most critical business scenarios. It does sound quite simple yet challenging. How do you get through upgrades? Do you have any automated acceptance testing in your company?Maybe there are developers who could do it for a fair dollar?

We are trouble-shooting an error with several customers with the Last Message of ‘404 not found for the record’ The record is present in BigCommerce and is updated with the sync. Just trying to understand what the 404 error is from. Any advise for trouble-shooting this error? We sent this to support and it has been months with no answer or resolve for the errors. (There are several pages too!)

Hi EveryoneI have a question about reversing depreciation. While I was able to reverse depreciation following recommendations from these two discussions. https://community.acumatica.com/financials%2D7/reverse%2Dfixed%2Dasset%2Dpurchase%2D8689I did it by creating fixed asset transaction with transaction type “Depreciation+” with a negative transaction amount. I realised that this action does not reverse the “depr. to period” under balance - book. This creates an issue where when we attempted to perform correct depreciation again for the same period (where it was reversed before), this asset does not show up on Calculate Depreciation, as it is considered already depreciated for that month by the system. 

The substitution list screen has a selection for an Acumatica table and field.  Does this mean we can use fields from Acumatica tables for the substitution?  For example, we are importing data and the customer in the Excel file is the customer external reference, so I’d like to substitute the import value using the AcctReferenceNbr in the Customer DAC with the AcctCD.  I have tried a few variations of the below and it doesn’t seem to work.Does the substitution list support this functionality or will we have to manually maintain individual values in the original/substitution value list?Thanks,Kurt

I have a client using Pacejet that handles their shipping. They are running into an error with  Pacejet because the DHL API is pushing a foreign currency into their system. DHL does not have a currency converter on their end so they are telling our client to set up the Currency Type in Acumatica.  Our client is not currently using Multicurrency Accounting.  I am wondering if anyone has had to set this up for their clients for Pacejet only and if so what it entailed and if they ran into any issues with it.

Hi,I have a custom screen , I need to get the total amount of the header level based on the sum of line amount of the grid level. as per above screenshot, I have taken the multiplication of A and B to the C column. In a perfect world where dreams come true, I envision my trial balance screen having arrows at the top where I could just click to advance or go back one period at a time. Does anyone know if something like this is possible? 

Is there an option to run the trial balance summary report for the entire year rather than one period?

I am trying to understand the Entities sync settings better. We have Stock, Nonstock, and Template finished products with Export Mapping Active fields established. I noticed on older products mapped to the Website, the Export Map settings are not installed on the products in the BigCommerce. Is this due to the fact it only reads this mapping once when the External ID is assigned and the first sync occurs?  I went to the SKU in question in Sync History to manually sync it to see if the fields fill in on BigCommerce, and they did not.  I noticed this because some products have the fields filled in on BigCommerce, and others don’t. Yet, the Acumatica file has not been updated. I am guessing that the active export mapping settings were not active during the first sync. Any ideas?  

I would like to display the Day of the week in a GI,  Either display, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc… or display, 1, 2, 3,   Where 1 is equal the first day of the week etc… So for Document Date,  I would like to see  Document Date   Document Day10/6/2023          Monday  

Hi, I’m trying to better format a Dashboard Table to show whole dollar rounding for some of our GI’s. I’ve been scouring different DACs and Community posts trying to find a ‘whole dollar’ schema that would provide a right aligned number with comma separators and no decimals. (#,##0).I’m able to use these parameters for Report Design and Pivot Views, but cannot find a schema to use with this format. I’m hoping I’m just way overlooking the solution to this and maybe someone could help me out. I’d really like to avoid creating a Customization to achieve the formatting.

I would like to create a report that includes Inventory ID, Description, Lot Number, Warehouse, Location and Ending Balance ONLY. The system seems to be only pulling transactions which ends up looking like duplicates on the report itself OR the lot number is completely empty. My team is wanting to add their Email Signatures to mass emails, but I am stuck on how to add them. So far I have enabled and created an email signature in the user profile, and I’ve also created a notification template the is just “((GeneralInfo.MailSignature))” to go at the bottom of the mass email body, but I am having no luck with it actually showing up. I’m wondering if it has to do with our mass emails only have the “Contact” datafield to pull from?Test Signature in User ProfileEmail Template in Mass Email and it’s preview screen.  Datafield Available in Mass Emails

Hi All,We have added date filters and Location Filters to the Inventory Valuation report. Could you please assist us in resolving the data filtering issue specified below.If the date filters and the warehouse, Location filters all are selected, data is filtering properly and prompting expected results in the report. Whereas when only Data filters are selected, without Warehouse/Location, it is prompting incorrect results. The "From Date" and "To Date" fields have been added to the "Process" screen, automatically populating the date range from the current date minus three days. This is working as expected.When we select a specific date range, it resets to the default dates and retrieves data only within the default date range. Below is the screen shots for DAC and Events.   Could any one please suggest a solution
