Hi, I have a requirement where, when a user selects a certain project task, cost code and account group under Cost Budget Tab in Projects Form, when creating a transaction in Bills and Adjustments form the same combination of those three fields must be entered by the user, if not an error message must pop up saying the combination is incorrect. How can I approach this customization, is using the FieldVerifying event handler going to cover this requirement?I have attached screenshots for reference.Thanks.Project Task, Cost Code and Account Group in Projects FormThe combination must be the same under Bills and Adjustment Form

Hello Everyone, I have to add existing service order columns to the service order window in calendar board screen. This screen has a complete different mechanism compared to other acumatica screens. The aspx contains separate HTML screen in it, but how can we override it from the customizaiton package. All the service order window columns are available in TooltipserviceOrder.html page, but how can I add it to the customizaiton package? Can we override this like other existing acumatica screens? What is the proper way to override FS300300 screen to add new columns.

Hi,I am editing the SO Invoice report SO643000 and adding in packing info to the invoice so it will show what item is pack to which Skid or Box. After finishing my whole setup, it would work great for invoices. However it now product a blank report when the document type is Credit. Examples below:Credit Memo:Invoices (Boxes):Invoice (Skid)I know the main issue is when I apply SOShipLineSplitPackage.PackedQty filter to IsNotNull, it somehow takes away information from Credit Memo. I have tried to change the filter to apply IsNull for Credit Memo and IsNotNull for INV, but it did not work.   Does anyone have suggestion on what I can do to achieve below logic, either with Filter or another way?If it is Invoice, PackedQTY is not empty If it is Credit Memo, PackedQTY is empty.Thank you,Calvin

We have an existing customization on a Processing Screen tied to a custom Button (T240 went sideways here and never got around to discussing an actual Process button hook), and it works perfectly.Attempting to move the custom code to the Process button isn’t working-.In an attempt to troubleshoot, we want to start with a brand new template and see the Process button in action--can’t get this to work.  The new customization can inherit the code fairly easily, but we need a functioning Process button on a Processing screen.Any hints (or sample code) for a “default template” for a Processing Screen?

Hi Team,I want to Trim the starting characters from a field in acumatica. I tried using “Split” function, but it is not working as expected. Please help me on this.  Sample code: Regards,Ramya

Hi,I am working on the invoice report and have modify in a way to show which shipment each item is in on the print out. I have figure out most of the logistic and is currently stuck at grouping the item together instead to have it spill to each line. See below of the current print out of the reports. Screen shot A is when the shipment type is SKID; Screen shot B is when the shipment is ship as Box. A)In this scenario, I would want all Items to show only once with the 2nd detail section to show more than one line per item. As you can see, the skid 1 for TQ002 have 2 boxes and each have their own packed amount. I am not sure how I can link the schema to provide the logic to only show the Item@ only once. B)In this scenario, the shipment is shipped as boxes. For item SM3000T3-Neon, it was shipped as 7 boxes. I would like all the box numbers (7 total) to show under Box column and in only one line of SM3000T3-Neon instead of showing up 7 times, which makes the calculation for QTY and price

I have added a view (ContractDetails) in a BusinessAccountMaint extension.  One of the columns contains a Vendor Number and I would like to add a hyperlink on that column to make the related vendor number appear in a popup window.  The Vendor Number column is defined as follows, it is just a lookup field. #region UsrVendor [PXString(15)] [PXUIField(DisplayName="Vendor", Enabled=false)] [PXDBScalar(typeof(Search2<BAccount.acctCD ,InnerJoin<POVendorInventory, On<POVendorInventory.vendorID, Equal<BAccount.bAccountID>> ,InnerJoin<ContractItem, On<ContractItem.recurringItemID, Equal<POVendorInventory.inventoryID>>>> ,Where<ContractItem.contractItemID, Equal<ContractDetail.contractItemID>> >) )] public virtual string UsrVendor { get; set; } public abstract class usrVendor : PX.Data.BQL.BqlString.Field<usrVendor> { } #endregionHere is my code for the hyperlink and popup window. I’ve added ViewV

Hi ACU community, My company is upgrading from 2021 R1 to 2021 R2 in the upcoming months. I was wondering what the main improvements are? We currently are using the construction module. We like to stay N-1 on upgrades to eliminate any bugs, if it is not worth the upgrade we may wait for the 2022 R1.  Thank you,KT

I have some specific questions about about how Acumatica developers manage customization projects, in particular those that involve custom C# classes and are developed using Visual Studio:  How do you manage your code repository and versioning for Acumatica customizations? Would you recommend using the built-in Azure DevOps tools in Visual Studio to manage Acumatica customization code?   Do you have any advice for maintaining multiple different versions of a customization project that correspond to different Acumatica builds?   What’s the best way to manage multiple development sandbox instances for multiple clients? Is this usually done on a virtual machine?   Do you have any general advice for QA / testing specifically in Acumatica?  How would you set this up for a small team without a dedicated testing engineer?Any insight or advice on these questions would be greatly appreciated!

Yesterday our client informed me that there is an issue with using Gmail for sending large volume email-based communications from Acumatica. They were trying to send some 4500 statement emails when they encountered the following Gmail error: Too many login attempts. Please try again later.  From my reading up, this error is possibly caused by each statement email sent creating a login attempt to the Gmail account. 2 questions on this:Does Accumatica have a config SMTPKeepAlive, which will allow the already created SMTP connection to be reused (without having to re-login each time)? If it does, is this configuration switched on? Is this an issue you have encountered before with Accumatica, and if so how was it resolved?

Previously we used Fedex ship manager and there was a field for department which we utilized for our sub accounts for categorizing expenses when the Fedex bill comes in.  Is there a way with the Acumatica FedEx shipping integration to be able to submit that field as well?

Anyone run into the package count column on the Shipments grid not displaying the package count from the field in the Shipment header? Client reported the issue, and it appears to also be an issue in my local demo system. Field is SOShipment PackageCount on GI grid and is located in the header of the Shipment screen. See screenshot from demo system. 207 shown on the shipment. None show in the packages column in the shipments grid. Thanks!

I am posting this in case anyone ever has the same issue, they will know how to fix it.I have a customized version of AP301000 in R2020R2 Build 20.207.0012.  The page publishes and works fine.In the project editor, on my custom field, I entered a LabelWidth with a value of “M”.  This caused the page to error.  I unticked the checkbox on the LabelWidth propery.  The value [RESET] was automatically filled into the value field.  I saved the change and tried to preview and I got this error Steps to try to get rid of the error:unpublished all deleted the screen from the customization published the project restarted the application cleared cookies from the browser added the screen back into the project with no changes. clicked preview changes and I still get the error.I tried this in a different browser, same thing occurs.I also verified that after deleting and unpublishing, in the project editor, there was NO reference to AP301000 anywhere.  I checked this by going to File - Edit Project XM

Hi is there an easier way to generate production tickets for the many levels of sub assemblies when using MRP for replenishing stock items?  Seems like a pain to run MRP Generation to create the parent, then keep re-running it over and over to generate all the children.  Any suggestions? thank you

Using 2020 R2A while back, I created a UDF on the Journal Transactions screen This value comes from a custom maintenance table. When a JE is posted, this field is no longer editable.I made a workaround by creating a custom form to allow the field to be modified.  The user clicks the UPDATE button to open a new screen to change the value on the JE.  However, that is clunky and not user friendly. You can’t use workflows on Journal Transactions.  So I added the field in the Automation Steps screen:Still no luck.  At least the Automation Steps was able to see my UDF!

We have been on Acumatica for 2 years now, and we have been struggling with getting Acumatica to properly measure a project.  With our current setup, our cost are not applied to our budget, so we have to dump everything into excel and measure the projects manually.  We have been working with our partner on this and our trying our 3 setup to try to get it working. Ideally we would like the task to our project phasing, but the inventory Id seem to constantly be the issue.  When we put stock items to the project they don’t go against the material budget, they create their own line for the sku in the budget. This creates thousands of cost lines in multiple phases that don’t go against the material budget line. this was difficult to manage the project. We tired making the task the work breakout structure and using the inventory Id for the phase, but we run into the same problem. We are now testing task and cost code, but again we have the same issue with inventory and the cost breakouts are e

I am trying to get a newly added package to have the Shipment Number in the Customer Ref Nbr 1 field automatically. To do this I added a fieldDefaulting event as follows:  protected void SOPackageDetailEx_CustomRefNbr1_FieldDefaulting(PXCache cache, PXFieldDefaultingEventArgs e) { var row = (SOPackageDetailEx)e.Row; if (row == null) return; e.NewValue = "SH#" + row.ShipmentNbr; }This works fine when I manually press to add a package but when I use auto pack it ends up with a field with: SH# <NEW> as I presume the row.ShipmentNbr is not populated at that point.  What should I use to get the shipment number before it is saved? Thanks for any advice, Phil

Can you help me how to solve this error on releasing of check and payments. Below is the screen capture of the error messages.Thank you in advance

I have a situation where Users create an Invoice and leave this in Balanced Mode, they are then able to print and email the invoice to the customer. Once done they subsequently receive cash payments from the customer, but then go and delete the invoice (because its still in balanced mode). This gives rise to fraud. How can I disable the ability to print or email an invoice in hold or Balanced mode, and only allow for the invoice to be printed / emailed once released into the system?
