Simple Question: Trying to learn how to Import Employees into Acumatica.  I have all the employees in Excel with all the necessary scenarios that I need. The only field that is mandatory is First and Last name, and Employee ID, User name, and email address. I have all that information in Excel but I am not sure how to upload all the employees into Acumatica. I know how to enter 1 by 1 but that is taking too long. Can anyone guide me on how to tackle this task?

Hi,I want to execute a custom logic when the user click the Release button, but only if the Release process completes successfully. How I can get the error message from the release process? This is my code. [PXOverride] public IEnumerable Release(PXAdapter adapter, ReleaseDelegate baseMethod) { baseMethod(adapter); _inservice.UpdateItemLocation(Base, itemloc.Cache, AddOrSubstract.Add, Base.transactions.Cache); Base.Save.PressButton(); return adapter.Get(); } Thanks,EV

I have a user defined field in the APTran table (Bills and Adjustments screen).  There are actually two fields, UsrAllocationID (Unbound field for use only on the grid) and UsrAllocationID which is stored in the APTran table to save the history of the allocation ID used on the line.   public class APTranExt : PXCacheExtension<PX.Objects.AP.APTran> { #region UsrAllocationID [PXInt] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Allocation Code ID")] [PXSelector(typeof(Search<ICAllocationCode.allocationID, Where<ICAllocationCode.active.IsEqual<True>>>), typeof(ICAllocationCode.allocationCD), typeof(ICAllocationCode.description), SubstituteKey = typeof(ICAllocationCode.allocationCD), DescriptionField = typeof(ICAllocationCode.description))] public virtual int? UsrAllocationID { get; set; } public abstract class usrAllocationID : PX.Data.BQL.BqlInt.Field<usrAllocationID> { } #endregion #region UsrAllocationIDUsed [PXDBInt] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Allocation ID

We produce labels for our subassemblies based on inventory receipts that are generated in the production process. This has worked well for us in the past as we have only ever manufactured in singular large lots based on the production process. Below is an example of a label that produced 936 pieces of wood. However we are now generating multiple lots from singular production orders (EX: 6 lots of 156 pieces) which is causing the lots to pull in as <split>. This is because the lots have been pushed to the line details tab as there are multiple for a single line. Please see example below. Now the barcodes will not generate on the labels because it pulls directly from the receipt page. There are two possible solutions for this, neither of which I am sure how to execute:If we could specify in the production order that we’d like to generate 6 lots of 156 pieces so that they would appear that way on the on the receipt, then there would be no problem. However, I have found nothing that sp

Hi Everyone, I am trying to create an import scenario to input Amount Paid in the Payments and Applications form (AR302000) and I get “the save button is disabled error”. I followed my mapping manually and yet I am able to save. This is my scenario:I unchecked reference Nbr. Commit because otherwise, I would get “Error: 'Reference Nbr.' cannot be found in the system.”This is my data:Then I shrunk it down to 1 row because I suspect the error is caused by the payment amount command.I also tried to swap the Payment Amount command with Action: set Payment Amount to Applied documents and moved it up and down in the mapping order, to no avail. If anyone knows what I am missing, it would be great. Choenho

We just set up the Twilio SMS Integration.  We are on Acumatica 2021 R2.  If Acumatica sends a SMS via Twilio, and the receipient replies, how / where do I see the reply?

The situation is that we have web orders coming through from BigCommerce.  We have popup notes defined against a lot of our customers that are important to see when adding the customer to the SO.  Because the Customer is already populated when you open the SO it doesn’t pop up the notes for the Customer.  Is there a way to check if the customer on the SO has notes and pop them up?Thanks for any advice, Phil

Is there a reason that the product doesn’t allow for a change order to be created to subcontracts directly from the subcontracts details area? We were expecting to see the add button (+) . What would be best suggested work around in anybody else experience?

Hi Team,Is there any possibility to show PDF document content on a report. If it is possible can you suggest the best possible way to achieve it please. We are working with 21R2 - Build 21.208.0032. Thank you in advance !

Can Images in Acumatica/Big Commerce sync both ways? Currently if we delete an image in Acumatica, it does not delete the image from Big Commerce. Is this a setting that we can change?

We are four Builds behind.  What are best practices for doing Build upgrade?  Should we be doing an Build upgrade if we are four behind?

Can I change Acumatica Instance Tab Icon?

I have a simple GI that pulls inventory IDs, price classes and prices. When I load this GI in Excel (via an OData link), the results sometimes contain serious errors. Many inventory IDs are repeated, and some IDs don’t show up at all. Strangely, these errors don’t occur every time I load the data. If the data contains errors, I can often get the correct data by refreshing 4-5 times. If I run the GI in Acumatica and export to Excel, the data is always correct. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Recently updated to the build 21.216.0034. It would appear there has either been some change to what triggers a ‘Product Availability’ sync request, or otherwise a related bug. In previous builds, ‘Product Availability’ record prepared of course based on update to the given inventory ID (Template, Stock, Non Stock). Expected and documented functionality. Since our update to this build last week, it appears that nearly all Inventory ID records are entering the prepare/process queue, even though the majority of those records have not been modified by any expected action (ie, sales order created, PO received, inventory adjustment, etc).  Is this a known situation? Have changes to what triggers a product availability request been meaningfully changed in this build?  Why this matters in our integration: We override the ‘track inventory’ setting for BigCommerce products that we want to allow backorder on (ie, take an order for something not in stock). For items with low velocity, the Invento

Hi everyone, I am wondering what is the right way to sort Kit in Report Designer. I have build a report based on below: I have add below sort filter:When I run the report, the KitHeaderID is not sort numerical or Alphabetically and is all over the place:I went and look at Kit Specification and it would show the Kit in numerical order. Does anyone have an idea what I need to do in order to have it sort numerically?Kind regards,Calvin

Good morning MFG Community. I am running 22.108.0024. I am entering and Expiration date on one material on the BOM lets say 9/30/2022. I am adding a new Material to the BOM with an Effective date of 10/1/2022. My assumption would be if a create a production order with due date and start date of 9/15/2022 I should see material A on the production order details because the due date and required date are before 9/30/2022. On the other hand, if I crate a future order today for 10/10/2022. I would expect material A to drop off because of the expiration date of 9/30/2022 and the new item B to be added because of the effective date of 10/1/2022. I can not get this to work. No matter what I do, any future orders still have part A and do not show part B

Hi Everyone,I was trying to track all the deleted records on my request primary list. Using generic inquiry. I also enable the “Show deleted records” and yet upon adding on the results grid. I’ve moved over to using Firefox with Acumatica for some of the productivity extensions (like TST) and have noticed a weird issue that I didn’t have when using Chrome. After I publish customizations, the navigation buttons disappear: Reloading, signing out, clearing cache and cookies doesn’t work. I have to complete exit the browser and then re-enter for it to reappear. When loading a page I see a lot of console errors: --“Cookie “timeStamp” does not have a proper “SameSite” attribute value.
