We want to have a GI that will trigger notification via a Business event if a project is assigned to more than one active Restriction Group.

Here are the table Relations:

However, when the project is in two or more groups, it’s shown in the GI results with no groups.

Please help to get it to work so that if there is more than one group that a project is assigned to, the GI shows all of them in the results.

Thank you!

@aborisova37 The reason the field is blank is because it probably doesn’t know which group name to use, or the actual value doesn’t = any specific group.

The way restriction groups work in the DB is that if one group is 0x100000 and the other group is 0x200000 then if the entity is part of both, it would look like 0x300000, so since there is no group which matches this, it doesn’t have a value.

Have you tried basing the condition of the GI on this value being empty or null?

You may need to check the DB to see what the actual group value is for these blank entries and then adjust the GI conditions to be only = to the multi group value so that if anything populates it will trigger the BE
