Hi, just trying to figure out if the licensing process has changed in the last couple of releases for ISV partners. Our MO is to setup an internal VM that runs the current Acumatica ERP release locally. Usually we don’t need to license our internal test instances of the ERP, but eventually we need do some multi-threaded integration testing that requires the 6 sessions provided by a standard license. I didn’t make notes before because it seemed easy enough to find a stash of license keys for each version that we were to use internally and are not based on a customer installation. But that was a few months ago - now when I click on licenses in the portal ISV page it just reloads the same page, and my colleagues with similar rights are reporting the same thing. So if someone could kindly advise the best way to request a license, does it just need to be in a support case these days where we provide the system key and such? The articles i find just relate to what appears to be licensing for c

I have already gotten the data using the following loop.  It gets the data just fine without using DACs.  But when I try to determine if the datatype of the column in the GenericQuery is string or numeric, I seem to only find System.String or String.  I don’t get the datatype of the underlying data element in the generic query - like refnbr is nvarch(15) or something like that.  Anyone have any thoughts?  foreach (GenericResult resultRow in graph.Views["Results"].SelectMulti())            {                                foreach (string key in resultRow.Values.Keys)                {                                        foreach (GIResult resultMap in PXSelectReadonly<GIResult, Where<GIResult.designID, Equal<Required<GIResult.designID>>, And<GIResult.objectName, Equal<Required<GIResult.objectName>>>>>.Select(graph, new object[] { templates.Current.DesignID.Value, key }))                    {                                                var re

Hi ,Would like to seek advise if its really ok to edit the Line description of an item and how it will impact the Inventory movement? For example, I'm creating a PO (figure 1), then I edit the line description of the AALEGO500 to AAA and it allowed by the system (figure 2). How will it affect the inventory? One thing more, is it possible to sort the item alphabetically, with the sample in the print out, I can sort the item description ascending and descending (figure 3) but when I print it out it didnt displayed alphabetically (figure 4). Figure 1  Figure 2  Figure 3 Figure 4 Thanks

Hi all, when you design a report, you need to define the data source in the column set / row set. I could only see dimensions listed below. Is there any possibility to have “project” here? We’d like to have financial reports by project. I know there are several reports under project, but is there any one of them that shows financial results of multiple projects for comparison? Thanks a lot!

I have a client with numerous warehouses and they need the flexibility to receive items into locations associated with Projects in multiple warehouses. They want to be able to associate a warehouse location with a project in multiple warehouses but leave the task blank for flexibility on the receipt transaction (items sometimes are diverted to different warehouses than indicated on the PO). It does not seem possible to have a project associated with a location in multiple warehouses without a task. What am I missing?

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check for this problem? I have complete the first level move and it looks like the inventory has been allocated to the production orders but the status of the orders is not changing from “Released” to “In Process”. Any help is appreciated. TIA

My company is about to implement the MRP and forecasting portion of Manufacturing in our environment.  Our end users are very anti-change and anti-technology.  I’m hoping to ease their knee jerk reaction by looking for easy to use guides in a “for dummies” style with images and less technical explanations, but I’m not finding much in either the Acumatica University or elsewhere online.  I think they’d really benefit from a document that is less technical and slightly easier to read.  Any suggestions?

I’m a VB.Net guy, so this is probably more of a C# question. On my processing page, I am calling a static void method.  In that method a graph instance is created.  This method might be called 100 times.public static void DoIt(List<ICSCustomers> custList, RecordsToProcessFilter currentFilter) {     var graph = PXGraph.CreateInstance<CustomersProcess>();    //CODE }After the DoIt method is completed, does the graph instance get destroyed, or does it stay in memory?  I am concerned that if I have 100 instances of that graph in memory it will cause problems. If it does stay in memory, is there a way to destroy it at the end of the method?  I see I can “clear” it, but that isn’t the same as destroying it.Thanks!Joe

I’ve been puzzling through this issue and I’m not sure where to go for figuring this out.Action button on Sales Order Maint willCreate a record in a custom table. Load up the graph for that custom table and press an action button.Custom graph passes it’s record into a method to be updated. Custom graph passes it’s record into a second method to be updated. But it loses changes coming out of the second method. It’s almost like the record is passed into the second method as a copy instead of a reference to the record. If, however, I open up the graph for the custom table and click on the action button - the above process works just fine.  My Order Entry customization is literally pressing the action button on the custom graph.I’m using this form for updating the field values to try and ensure that the correct cache is being updated.myCustomGraph.Caches[typeof(MyDAC)].SetValueExt<MyDAC.myField>(myRecord, SomeValue);andmyRecord = myCustomGraph.Caches[typeof(MyDAC)].Update(myRecord); S

Trying to set the customer based on the selection of a project. However I get a validation error.   public class SOOrderEntry_Extension : PXGraphExtension<PX.Objects.SO.SOOrderEntry> { protected void (Events.FieldUpdated<SOOrder, SOOrder.projectID> e) { if (e.Row == null) return; SOOrder so = (SOOrder)e.Row; if(so.CustomerID == null && so.ProjectID != null) { var prj = PMProject.PK.Find(e.Cache.Graph,so.ProjectID); e.Cache.SetValue<SOOrder.customerID>(e.Row, prj.CustomerID ?? null); } }}results in when the project is selected. I have tried both SetValueExt and SetValue, SetValueExt causes the ProjectId to be set to null or “X”, while SetValue works as intended with the exception of the validation error. The validation error occurs in both cases.Unselecting the project, and then reselecting the project causes the error to go away.  How can I request the

Hello - has anyone created a dashboard widget that shows an accounting ratio? For example, we would like to see our debt to equity ratio on our dashboard. The data for that ratio is found in our balance sheet and I do not see the balance sheet as an available data source for widget creation. I am new to creating widgets and not sure where to start. Thank you.

The data pulled is -3hours. Will appreciate any help here
