Solved

I am currently adding a filter condition to the Trail Balance Summary report, specifying a 'From' and 'To' period as shown in the attached screenshot. When I pass a different period condition (e.g., From period: '01-2023' To period: '07-2023'), and considering that the financial period has been closed, while running the report between these dates still results in the Beginning Balance displaying random values. While running the report with the same period (e.g., From Period: '01-2023' To Period: '01-2023'), we obtain the expected output with the Beginning Balance displaying correctly. However, the issue arises when running the report with different period conditions. The Beginning Balance does not come out as expected in such cases.Any assistance with resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hi! I'm looking for a sales margin report, itemized based off invoices. Like the Sales Profitability Analysis GI that comes out of the box. The catch is for cost I need to include the material and labor breakdown for manufactured items. Does anyone have a GI or know which table might contain this information?

I have a low-code customization that I creates a drop-down value list for the Stage of the Opportunities screen. (CR304000).It works fine, except for one thing.I need to reorder it if I add a new item.  We use numeric ID’s for the stages.  (see screenshot below)I want to “insert” a new stage of “12 - Prequalified”, to this list.  And I can do that.  But it inserts the drop-down value as the last item in the list, and I want it to appear between the “10” and “15” in the value list.  How do I move or reorder those drop-down values using a low-code customization?Thank you,Jeff

I am currently creating a dashboard for our executive team.  I have created a new inquiry for the fields I need to pull in.  I am using the KPI widget and the labor looks like it is coming through in seconds and the inquiry is doing the same when I use SUM in the total aggregate function. Does anyone know how to make it add minutes/hours?

Hi there, we have a customization where we have overridden the GetBucketForImport method in BCSalesOrderProcessor.cs graph. After overridden we are facing issue at await keyword. Please refer the below screenshots and code.Overridden code: public delegate Task<EntityStatus> GetBucketForImportDelegate(BCSalesOrderBucket bucket, BCSyncStatus syncstatus, CancellationToken cancellationToken); [PXOverride] public async Task<EntityStatus> GetBucketForImport(BCSalesOrderBucket bucket, BCSyncStatus syncstatus, CancellationToken cancellationToken, GetBucketForImportDelegate baseMethod) { OrderData data = await orderDataProvider.GetByID(syncstatus.ExternID); if (data == null) return EntityStatus.None; await Task.Yield(); data.OrderProducts = new List<OrdersProductData>(); await foreach (var item in orderProductsRestDataProvider.GetAll(syncstatus.ExternID, cancellationToken)) { d

Document encryption before email workflow.I have a customer request to send an Acumatica generated document, in this case a PDF, as encrypted to secure the document so that it can only be opened by the recipient who would know the password for the document. This would be part of workflow and they would not want to download the document from Acumatica to their local computer, encrypt and then send the email.I have searched for such a plugin and have not found anything. Has anyone performed such a request before and what did you use. Or is there not a solution for this and it would require a customization to use an encryption routine?Any guidance or direction is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, We have a client that has multiple branches set up. They will be using AP Incoming Documents. Right now users cannot select the branch in the Incoming Documents screen and if they update under Bills & Adjustments the item does not save. How can we add the Branch ID column under Incoming Documents so that way users don’t have to worry about selecting the Branch at the top of the screen? Also, are there any other workarounds we can try? Client is on 2023 R1 Thanks,Frances

I am trying to get the response from acumatica in JSON format for this call. This is the call I am making using POSTMAN{{acumaticaurl}}/odatav4/$metadata?$format=jsonI have also tried changing the Accept header to “application/json”, but that is not changing the format. So, does that mean that the only format I will get when making a metadata call is going to be ATOMXML?Thank You,Abhijit

Cost Roll only seems to work if you are using standard costs. Is it possible to do a cost roll if you are using average costs?

Client has established a new warehouse and needs to move all inventory (many items).  What is the best way to accomplish this?Should we use the Physical Inventory Count function?  if so, does anyone have an import scenario for this?  I see the “Physical Inventory Process and Transferring between Locations” post but that does not answer the question for us.Thanks.

Why can’t I use this field in Conditions? I seem to be able to use all other LastModified fields (Ex. Appointment Last Modified) in Condition?

Hello everyone,I had some fields that I needed to rename to comply with Acumatica’s Prefix Validation Standard.I Unpublished the customization The fields are renamed in SQL Database and now have the new names. Custom Scheme fields are updated accordingly in the customization project The DAC is updated accordingly in my C# project and any dependent events as well. ASPX DataFields are updated accordingly in the customization project The Project is compiled and the project is updated with the modified dll and published without any error. When I look into the CstPublished folder and open the customized screen, I see the new names are in the file, and NONE of the names which are raising errors exist. But when I try to open the Project screen and I get the invalid column error. For testing when I add any of the columns to the SQL DB, the error gets resolved. Long story short I do not have these fields that the system is picking on them neither in my C# project nor pages aspx but somehow the s

Hi,I am not sure how to generate a P&L report from the system. Could anyone help me on that?Thank you.Regards,Raymond

We have a unique use case with RC Refunds imported from Shopify. We have setup a customization to require the sales person fields in Sales Order documents, this policy cannot be changed. It is creating an issue with Shopify Refunds because there is no import mapping available for the Refund entity. We get an error because the default sales person field cannot be empty. Same issue with Sales Orders, but we used import mapping with Shopify Sales Orders to default the salesperson to “WEB” for all imported Shopify orders. The only way for us to update a Shopify sales order as returned/refunded is to Return/Refund in Shopify and import to Acumatica, from what I understand. Therefore we need a customization until import mapping is available for the Refund entity. I figured if we have a unique return order type (copy of the RC type) for Shopify returns then we could add a script to the Sales Order entry screen to automatically update the Default Salesperson field to “WEB” if the order type is

Help description says you can still post transactions to closed production orders.  What kind of transactions would these be?You can’t issue material or labor, so what is this referring to?Any thoughts?

Looking for some help on how to trigger a business event on the service order screen from Workflow Stage (WFStageID). I’d like to send a notification if the stage = WON.  I’ve tried setting up a business event from both the service order screen and a GI screen with no luck. Here are the workflow stage settings:My first attempt was using the Service Orders screen and WFStageID. The Workflow Stage does not have any values. I tried manually inputting WON or ‘WON’ for various conditions and the system erases anything I put in there upon saving the record. I also tried this without the first condition of equals CAL.The second attempt was creating a business event from the service orders GI and using wFStageCD. There still weren’t any selectable values available for workflow stage, but I was able to manually input WON and save it. Upon testing this event did not trigger.Has anyone else created an event from the workflow stage that could help?

Hey folks, when i create a new customer in 2023 r1, then go to the Service Billing tab, there are three service order types in there by default.  I want all of the service order types to populate there when I create a new customer.   Any ideas short of an import scenario or am I missing something?

I have a new project which is always great!  The customer wants to run a bunch of validations on a Sales Order when it is being saved.  None of the validations will prevent the saving of an invoice.  The result of the validations will simply set some values in some User Defined Fields on the Sales Order.Since I am not doing validations that will produce any exceptions, I am not sure where in the process I would run these validations (i.e., in a method, override an action or process etc.).I can dig into the Acumatica code but before I start that process, I would love a recommendation as to the best approach to do this.  FYI, I cannot debug the Acumatica code as I cannot seem to get my breakpoints to hit.  I added the bin folder to the symbols to load in the debug options, but it still doesn’t work.  That’s another topic, but since I cannot get debugging to work on Acumatica pdb’s, it is hard to determine where I should inject my code.  I haven’t been able to get debugging of Acumatica c

Hi, We want to cover some services and some stock items from the service contract. The items and services which are not covered will be billed. We will be billing the customer at the end of the month. (This can be adjusted) We thought of using End Period Plus billing type but is unable to add stock items to the services per period in order to make it non-billable at appointment billing.  Is there’s a way we can perform this? Amanda
