Hi @Harshita

just my first thought: the discount code has to many digits. Try a shorter code and i am pretty sure you can save the dataset…

additional: the discount code could be just 10 digits...

Hi @Harshita

Do you have Numbering Sequences set up for Discounts?

@Harshita ,

I think @manikantad18 has given you the answer:  The discount code is set up to Automatically Number and there is no “Last Number” filled in, in the last column of Discount Codes screen.

Acumatica wants to automatically number the Sequence <NEW> by adding 1 to the Last Number…. and there is no last number, so Acumatica cannot number the sequence upon saving.

Can you please add a numeric value like 00001 to the Last Number column of Discount Codes screen, and then save your new record in Discounts screen?

Thank you @kbeatty21 for your prompt reply.
I did checked & found no Numbering Sequences have been setup. As suggested by @manikantad18 I tried to define the numeric value in the Last Number column of the Discount Codes (AR209000) form & its working fine.

I tried to try with a shorter code but still it was showing the same error.
