Since upgrading to 2023R2 the Order Description is being automatically copied to the Shipment Description. This is not desirable and causing extra work as we have to remember to remove it manually.Is there a way to customize this to disable this copy? Thanks for any help, Phil

We’re running into this annoying situation where a department that uses the Sales Order GI wants a default tab other than All Records.  I’ve created this tab 3 times and within a day someone deletes it.   I have two questions I am hoping someone knows the answer to.  Is it possible to find out who is deleting a shared filter? Is there a permission that controls if people can delete filters? 

Does anyone know why the Default Offset Account Branch is shown as a column but cannot be edited.  The Help just indicate “The branch to which the default offset account belongs.”.It makes sense to have a default branch when creating an entry type that belongs to one branch only.  Currently, the user have to remember to change the branch on the line entry.Is there any way to have an entry type defaulting to a specific branch? 

How do I see the year-end closing entry?  My balance sheet is off in January 2024 and I think the closing entry is the issue.   Thank you! 

How do I add a barcode for the Purchase Order number to the Purchase Order form?

Hello,I have a test tenant that has grown to 41GB. Does anyone have any experience with optimizing a tenant size. I have already deleted all old snapshots. The majority of the data are in the Note and UploadFileRevision tables. 

We have a business event that send a customer when an invoice is created.  The email is sent to the “Account” eamil address.  One customer wants a duplicate email sent to a second person in its organization.  How can we do  this?

Our specific scenario is:1. We place a Purchase Order and transmit it to our partner via EDI2. Our partner ships the product.3. Partner sends us an Invoice via EDI.4. The Invoice is entered as an AP Bill against the PO.5. We receive the inventory.We don't want to pay the bill in step 4 until we get the inventory in step 5.  We also don't want to prevent the bill from being entered because that basically eliminates the benefits of EDI. (nor do we want to put business logic in the EDI layer to not import the AP Bill) So, is there a way to configure the system such that the only items that can be paid on an AP Bill linked to a PO are those items that have been matched to a PO Receipt?

We are a company that creats our own literature type material. We are currently moving towards using projects to track our expenses for the various things we produce. With that, we also make a number non-stock items. Is it possible to add/link machine time to a project? I figured out that I can list a certain machine as an equipment and then submit an equipment time card that’s linked to a project to add the correct expense to the project. But I’m not sure if there is a better way to get the same result. Any ideas?Thanks for your help

Hello, I am trying to reverse the I/C entries on this entry: When I try to book the reversing entry, the I/C automatically reverses it, as shown below: I understand this is working as it should, but we have a one-off event we need to account for in this manner.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this reversed without triggering the balancing entries? Thanks,Sarah

We have a unique process that requires frequent changes to Project Quote line items by inserting groupings of design changes (several line items, different stages of the Project Quote / Opportunity) from a 3rd party CAD Excel export. We have all the functionality and mapping working well, but the users have asked if the selection step can be customized to have Insert All Records as the initial/default mode.  I cannot locate this dialog box in the Customization Editor for this screen (PM304500).Any guidance or other suggestions is appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi there, I would like to default the Text Formatting (as shown below) to Plain Text but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do it via any configuration.  I’ve looked into customization as well and confirmed that there are no such values in Customization Project Editor screen, and the whole thing is basically encapsulated under InventoryItem.Body. Is there a way to actualize this?  

Does anyone know if there is a way to create payment plans for customers on Acumatica? I have a customer who has not been paying their open invoices, so they requested to begin a monthly payment plan for a set amount (ex. $1000) to pay off their open invoices. Can we create a invoice for the set amount that the customer will pay every month and then once we receive payment we apply the money to the open invoices accordingly? Thank you!

Released Invoie lines details editing possible??

Hello all,I have been trying to change the Customer IDs of the imported customer Records, but haven’t been able to. The Segmented Key has the Auto numbering uncheck. Upon saving it throws the following errorand then creates a new blank customer record. Why is it not allowing me to do so?

I am experiencing a new issue with our Acumatica/Shopify connector. Our company has created many template items in Acumatica, each having multiple matrix items. We did this so we could sync products to Shopify and create one product page, with multiple matrix items (variant options on Shopify) on that one page. However in some cases the matrix items are missing from Shopify even though the template and the matrix items are all active with inventory available. We have a schedule running on the product availability entity to run every 10 min. I get this error in the sync history screen. Hoping someone on here has had a similar experience or can point out what I may be doing wrong.

Hello Community,I have a report designer report that a manager has asked me to set up so he can search a range of accounts.  This report shows the different accounting accounts, and he would like to have it show him like 3 or so accounts at a time instead of pulling each account one at a time.In general, I haven’t seen even a GI that can search multiple accounts at once.Does anyone know if this is possible?Thank you!Trisha

We are using Acumatica 2023 R1 Build 23.112.0032Are we able to re-open completed routers?  I have a user who accidentally “completed” a router instead of splitting the router.  I know you can add both materials and labor to completed routers but can a router status be reinstated to “In Process”.  The issue is we have to split a router instead the use closed the router.

There is a transaction in GL in an unposted status.Finance - > Post Transactions , I posted the entry and it posted just fine. I do not want this transaction to update the GL , so when I tried to reverse , I received the error ,  “Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Inventory ID value ________IN Error : Th Inventory Item is Inactive” My question is Why does the system let me post it once but then not allow me to reverse it ?

Hello,We are trying to understand how best to proceed if we closed down one branch in our larger company of 33 branches in 2023, but still would like to see historical data without it impacting our 2024 reporting. Is there a way to update the customer’s default salesperson is mass?  We had a salesperson leave and a replacement hired.  We now need to change many customers’ default salesperson to this new person.  Is there a way to do this in mass without an import scenario?  I tried creating a GI to do it, however I can’t seem to get the Mass Update options to appear.Thanks!Scott
