I need to write off a portion of an invoice however the system only allows me to write off the entire invoice. Is there any workaround to this? Thank you

Hi all,Via the Rest API, is there a standard way to delete just the line items on Journal Transactions or Expense Claims? If you pass in an item in the Details param, it will add to the Details which makes sense. I’d like to avoid completely deleting the old transaction / claim then making a new one. Thanks for your help!

Hello - We are a hotel company that both owns and manages our assets. One of the assets that we manage has an ownership that is international. Our internal IT stated that they would be more comfortable giving them access to their Acumatica instance if we had 2FA enabled for them. My questions is, is it possible to enable 2FA just for specific users? Thanks!

Where do the Notes in the body section from the OTHER tab appear on the mobile app? I was told these are internal notes for the Service Tech, but the notes don’t seem to appear on the mobile app. These are important as we want to communicate info to the Service Tech that we don’t want the customer to see and we don’t want to appear on the appointment documents or invoice.  

Does the Pending Approval Notification template get sent again when an approval is reassigned or delegated?

We have a client who received a double payment for an invoice in a previous month. Their customer wants to keep that prepayment/double payment on file for future use. A credit memo was created, but there’s nothing to apply it against, so bank rec is out of balance for the month in which the double payment was received. They are thinking of creating a “temporary” invoice to which they can apply the payment so that bank rec remains in balance. Then, when their customer want to use that prepayment to satisfy either new or existing invoices, they would reverse the “temporary” invoice, creating a new credit memo, then apply the new credit memo against the desired invoices. Does that make sense or can anyone suggest an alternative solution?

Scenario 2)  Vacation days must count towards weekly over time.  We have a PTO bank for vacation and must deduct any vacation hours from the bank.  My Earning Type code is setup as “Time Off”. I’m looking for ideas on how I can have vacation hours taken still count towards the weekly OT. Thanks in advance. 

I am importing BOM materials and I am required to convert certain items from LF to EA on import but the QTY Required field keeps giving me the following error “An error occurred during processing of field QTYReq: Specified cast is not valid”. Am I able to perform any math to this field? As soon as I perform any math I get this error. Take this for example: Simply doing 10/5 which should result in 2 on the BOM, but instead I receive the error regarding specified cast ...  Any help much appreciated. 

Hello,I have a client using Acumatica payroll and Construction. The client also has Union payroll. On T&M billed projects, they bill labor dependent on the 3 below items:Labor item (Journeyman, Foreman, General Foreman) Earning Type (RG, OT, DT) Union (SheetMetal, Carpenters, etc)The current Rate Tables in Acumatica only go as far as Inventory item. I know I could create a non-stock item for each rate type and union, but that’s not feasible for this client.I have created a very long IIF statement in the billing rule that works but it’s too long, the system cuts it off after 4000 characters. Is there a way to create a Rate table based off of these 3 items that I’m not seeing?

After upgrading to 2023 R2, our Subcontract Audit report now adds Debit Adjustments to Paid to Date totals in addition to reducing Billed to Date total. Therefore, outstanding balance calculates incorrectly because it’s duplicating the reductions. Our implementation partner does not know when this will be fixed and is asking us to pay for them to modify the report. I don’t think we should be paying for something that was incorrectly programmed by the developers.Has anyone had the same issue? Were you able to fix it without paying a third party? If you did, would you be willing to share the fix?

I have a custom field that I created in my IN.InventoryItem table that looks like this:Previously I have this as 3 fields when I created it, published, and everything worked as expected.  I went back today to add a 4th field (EF in the first string, EFOY Trailer in the second string) Published the customization, but only get the original 3 options.  I tired to publish with clean up, but still did not get the expected results. Any ideas on what I did wrong, or what step I am missing?

Hi, I’m a retailer with a distributor using Acumatica for their ERP. They gave me a login so I can check inventory balances in real time, but as we carry thousands of their products I need an automated way to check stock level daily.I noticed that their implementation seems to have some web services enabled via a SOAP endpoint when visiting a “Web Services” link from the SP700000 screen ([clientname].acumatica.com/(W(1))/Soap/SP700000.asmx). I’m quite familiar with developing Python apps so I’ve been working on using this endpoint to pull their catalog down into a CSV file.So far I’m able to connect and authenticate to the endpoint and run GetSchema, but when I request the fields I want the endpoint just times out. Hi,I'm trying to add a Business Event to add a SO Line when a Payment Method is CC (Credit Card).I have tried reading all online documentation, including a (to me) substandard video on the Acumatica learning portal itself, and other online video tutorials, but am not getting that info that I need to do this.  I would appreciate if someone could walk through the steps, and give an example.  I feel I am close, but can't get it to add the line.  In history it shows it running, but nothing is ever added.   I am sure I am missing something basic - like missing 1 step somewhere.   I wish the documentation was better.  It is pretty bare bones.I code, and do customization, but have never used the Business Events feature and trying to learn. Appreciate any feedback.I can post what I have done but I was really looking for a guide.  If there is a link that would be great but I have not found any links to do what I am asking, with any explanation.

We have a set of stock items, and those items are allowed to sell to only a customer.  Is there a way we can restrict so we don’t sell to other customers?

Can a Stock Item be available for sale to only one customer? We have custom products that are made specific for one customer and we don’t want these available to other customers or to be accidently sold to other customers. 

I am trying to build an import scenario that creates external user accounts for all of our active accounts.My desired outcome is below.  The users email address is the login name and the user record is linked to the contact record. When we use this in our external system, this is how we determine the customer that this user is associated to. I made this scenario but I can’t get it to work. I am unable to get it to link to the contact linked entity.  The mapping I am using is correct (ie: the string value for the display name matches the value in the linked entity box if I do it manually. Here is the design of my scenario: Here is the error I get when trying to processes this.  My assumption is I am mapping to the User Type and/or linked entity incorrectly.
