At transition, the team made several errors when posting invoices and payments.  And when correcting the errors, additional issues were created.  Scenario:  AR Invoice was posted for $354k - invoice was paid by client in two payments.  When the 1st payment was applied, the Amount was not changed and the payment was posted as the full inv amount, but the payment was for $256k. Transactions were posted 11/2023. When the second payment was posted, it resulted in a negative AR. To correct the issue, the 1st payment was voided, but the void was posted in the wrong month.  Voided posted in 03/2024. To correct the incorrect month, the re-posted payment was voided (2nd Void posted in 03/2024) and reposted in the correct month 11/2023. Learned through this that you can’t void a void.  And have since reviewed a post on this forum how to correctly move an incorrectly posted voided payment from month to month. But the result of these voids is a discrepancy in the AR GL account.  It is overstated b

Hi ,I have made a mistake and I’m trying to correct it. I would appreciate some help here. Error - I have created some fixed assets with wrong class, wrong cost account and accumulated depreciation account. The fixed assets are active from 01st of July and the depreciations are perfumed for the past month. (July)Correction -  I need to transfer the cost, Accumulated depreciations to the correct account while adding the FA to the correct class affecting to the period of July. Blockers -I tried to change the class (Transfer between classes) which transfer the cost, acc dep. But it post the transaction into August. I changed the system date to July 31st but still the transfer entry posted to 1st of August. I tried Transfer assets option, but assets are not visible in the transfer form as of 31st of July. Kindly expect some help here. Thank You,Dulanjana 

I have an Generic Inquriy column called orig_ord_type which, depending on the ARInvoice.DocType could either be a ‘C’ for Credit or an ‘O’ for Invoices and Debit Memos. My logic for this  is =IIF(LEFT([ARInvoice.DocType], 6)  =  'Credit', 'C', 'O') which accounts for Credit Memos and Credit WO (Write Offs) which should be coming up as ‘C’, but everything is coming up as an ‘O’. I’ve even tried using =IIF([ARInvoice.OrigDocAmt] < 0.00, ‘C’, ‘O’) and anything listed as a Credit still had an O in the column. If anyone has other ideas, they would certainly be appreciated, even using the =SWITCH function. I’ve tried the =SWITCH and I received an error about the MEMO token. 

I'm working on making the Qty field in labor for production orders a required field with a value greater than 0.00 in Acumatica. I set the correct field as 'true' and published the project, but it doesn't seem to be working. Should I add a condition or incorporate this requirement into the workflow to enforce it?

One of my clients recently upgraded to Acumatica Cloud ERP 2024 R1, Build 24.106.0018+. They also installed Repay version 24.0814.0, the latest release as of August 16, 2024 (sourced at https://releases.repay.com/label/31329). Since installing this version, they have encountered partial functionality issues.I can add a payment method to a customer account and create a payment. However, when attempting to capture the payment, no transaction is created in Repay, and I receive the following error message: "Error during request processing. Transaction ID: 5964, Error: GetItemExtension failed." Additionally, I've created a sale in the Repay Virtual Terminal and tried to record that payment in Acumatica. When I go to Payments, add the payment method, and attempt to record the credit card payment, I get the following error: "AR Error: Credit card processing error. Internal: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Finally, when I try to create a payment method from the customer

I am looking at adding a GI for customer Service Order lookups, that will allow me to issue user credentials to a few customers.  From there they can look up basic information on all their current Service Orders.  Unfortunately it does not appear that the Self Service Portal is capable of Service Orders, only cases.  (Hopefully they will add this natively soon).I was hoping to create a Dashboard that would show the relevant information but that was tied directly to a login.  It doesn’t look like you can create an Attribute directly for the User but you can for the employee.  I was thinking about creating an Attribute at the Employee Class level “Customers”, that allowed for me to enter the customer number assigned to the login.  What I don’t know how to do, is to associate the GI with the current person logged in and place a condition in the GI that looks at the Attribute (Customer) and filters the customer based on that info.  Any thoughts, or potentially better avenues to go about th

The 23R2 release notes documentation mentions that a method (ConfirmPackage) was removed.  However, the full release notes doesn’t mention how the Pick/Pack/Ship classes were refactored. Does anyone know how to replace this method?  I need to override the Process() method in the PickPackShip.ScanCommand class to automatically Confirm Package. 

In 23R2 is it possible to restrict user access to lead, opps and BAs using sales territories? My exploration suggests not, but I wanted to ask on the community in case I have missed something obvious.

I have an import scenario that will create sales orders from files added to an FTP server. I can set up an automation schedule to run the import scenario (we need it to import multiple times a day), however it is unpredictable when new order files will be added to the FTP site and I don’t want the import scenario to run if a new file hasn’t been synchronized, otherwise it will create duplicate sales orders in Acumatica.Anyone have any direction on the best way to go about this?

Good day,I have setting questions;  Is there a purchase order setting that will allow the user to select the item(s) they want on the purchase receipt when here are multiple line on the PO.  Right now, when the user creates the purchase receipt  they delete the items not received.  It causes the PO to remain open but if they forget or move forward we can receive items into inventory that have not been received.  I want to user to be able to select the line(s) on the PO first and then only those items will be on the PR.Any suggestions.@Evan G 

Hello community.  In the code below I am doing a few things, creating a sales order of the transfer type from shipments of the receipt type. I am saving the shipment number to the transfer order and the newly created sales order number to the shipment. It is doing exactly what I want minus saving the new SO # to the shipment record. I am doing this in an enclosed “using (var ts = new PXTransactionScope())” and was wondering if its possible I am not able to update multiple graph instances at once? Or is there another issue below that is not saving my SO # to the shipment record? I have the correct order number coming back into the code in my PXTrace. Any ideas? From what I can see, both BigCommerce and Shopify only support “Export” operation from ERP > Store. Let’s say in their stores, they already have a number of products. These products are exported to excel, provided to the implementer to import into Acumatica using an import scenario. Then, we set up a sync to export these products again to the stores:Wouldn’t this duplicate their product list? In relation to the above question, if it doesn’t, how does the system know a product in ERP is the same product in the store? Similarly, for customers, how to link an existing customer record in the ERP with an existing customer record in the store? this can be important to some businesses if they want to reserve the past/historical orders infor

Is it possible to have a finished good in a BOM?  Would the production order process the components with the BOM?  For instance, if we need to add a few components to an already defined Finished good.

I am doing an import of contacts and there are 2 custom attributes on the contacts that need to be pulled in, one of them is the Campaign name attribute and the other one is Industry type attribute. how do I go about mapping so that I can have both attributes mapped in the Import scenario? here is the screenshot of the mapping as it is now but it doesn’t pull in anything other than the Campaign attribute.  

Has anyone had any success using a Business Event to attach a Sales Order to the Relationships tab on an Opportunity in 24R1?  I have tried with an import scenario with no success.  I get this error in the Business Event history: 0 records of 1 have been processed. The last error was 'TargetNoteID' cannot be empty.  I’m not sure what is expecting the ‘TargetNoteID’.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Customer is printing large number of custom labels (5000) and finding only half will print and then stopThe print preview has all the labelsWould their be some restriction on this ?Would their be something different in 24R1 vs 23R1 ? 

Just started using Acumatica 5 months ago and I am the person at my company responsible for getting it sorted out for the other employees...so I’m the pioneer that gets to take the arrows learning how to use the software...so my question is this..I want to know if there is a way to make kits (aka custom assemblies) in Acumatica?For example, Lets say we take 2 -3 stock items and want to bundle them together as one part number for a customer. In this example we would have one custom part number that includes those 2-3 parts, perhaps some labor and then all those items roll up into that custom part number with a custom price.Currently I see how to do it in the software, but it requires us to go to the “stock items” page.. make a part number.. then run over to “Kit Specification” area and build it out… then run over to the “Kit Assembly” area and type in the part number once again and “assemble” it… and then run back to the “stock items” page to see the price. At which point we can go back

Hey folks,I have a Shopify order which had Item A.   Item A does not exist in Acumatica and we tried to sync the order and it failed as expected. We changed the item to Item B which does exist, and removed item A from the order and restocked in shopify.  The order still refuses to sync in ACU claiming that ITEM A does not exist in ACU: The XXXXXX item in the XXXX store does not match any item's inventory ID or alternate ID in the ERP system. Make sure an item with "XXXXXX" as an inventory ID or alternate ID exists in the ERP system, and process the record again.It appears to still be in The JSON file as well...any thoughts here?

Hello,I’m trying to edit the default Landed Cost GI (PO3030PL) to also include just two more columns on the results grid – the Purchase Receipt Nbr and the Purchase Order Nbr. This will help our accounting and logistics teams more easily match landed cost to invoices and reconsiliations since the invoices are always by PO or PR. I found the correct tables to add and can grab the field on the results grid, but the column(s) can’t pull data since it’s flagging the relations tab not joining the tables correctly. However, I’ve tried adding the new table as both inner, right, and left join but none of those work. Can someone let me know what the ‘relations’ tab should look like in order to make this work? (Add X as a left join… etc) Screencap below is what relations tab looks like without me adding anything.

Hi community members! I am looking to build a GI that lists all Vendors and the Date the Last PO was placed with them. It would be nice if the last PO number also was returned. I have left joined the Vendors to the PO’s and have the dates and fields mentioned above but, of course, the vendor repeats with each different date. I tried to use a Max formula on the PODate field to get the most recent but, no luck. I also tried grouping but the date returned is not always the Last PO Date in the system. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? 

Hi Sir I have set a recurring transaction , start date is 1 Nov , run at every month and end of the day.However , i did not see any recurring transaction generate on 30 Dec 2020 for the below, does it mean i  need to go recurring transaction to “ RUN NOW” instead system can run it for us?
