Hi Good morning. Appreciate your help on this. What will happen when an employee goes from 1 union local to another? Does it create an issue?Example: Employee move from Apprentice level 1 to Apprentice level 2 and some of the Deduction and Benefits of these union are different.Thank you
Hi, Good morning. I am still not certain of how and why we need to use the rate table. We are using the Acumatica Payroll and the Construction module. My question is Do I need to create a Rate Table if we want all the actual labor will be charged to the project based on the employee time entry? Thank you and appreciate your help.

Just upgraded to 2024R2, i have an employee that just moved to a different county (still in the state) and i changed the zip code to the new address but the employee taxes are not populating with the new county tax code. Any ideas why? Thank you!
Is there a way to add the Hire and Termination dates from the Employee Payroll Settings Employment History tab to a generic inquiry? Our client is needing this information for an audit. If we use the Start Date and End Date of the positions we do not get accurate information if the employee had a position change. The DAC indicates these fields do not exist in the database and are part of the application code. The client is need the hire date field to populate the original hire date of the employee and the termination date only if the employee has been terminated. They do not need the end date of a position change.
I just upgraded from 23R2 to 24R2.. In 23R2, the employer contribtuion did not calculate correctly but I was able to do an ajdustment for that after the paycheck was released (which wasn’t a big deal).. However, now that I have upgraded, I have 3 employees who all have the following in common:participate in the SIMPLE IRA (3% employer match) Have medical, dental, and vision insurance withheld from their paychecks Have IRA amounts that do not match and are also not the correct (3%) amountsOur Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are a SECTION125 Cafeteria plan. How do i get the IRA deductions and benefits to calculate correctly?Do i have to change some settings on the codes? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I love that there is now an option to adjust for PTO adjustments that is separate from Paychecks and Adjustments screen. However, I just entered a bunch of carryover adjustments, and it does not update to the user profile screen under the Dashboard. Is this a glitch? Something that will need to be updated by Acumatica to reflect real time PTO balances? It appears that they reference numbers that I see are related to PTO adjustment are not being reflected in the User Profile screen. Any ideas?
Is there a way to title box 14 to read FAMLI when showing on the W2? It’s showing as box 14 other right now.
Has anyone enabled staff to purchase additional leave through payroll?
We have an employee that was on leave for a few months and is now back and I need to create a new time card for this week. When I go into Time and Expenses, and Employee Time Cards and pick this employee, it only allows me to create the next time card after the employee went on leave. Surely I do not have to create each time card individually until I get to this week?
The PTO bank accrues the hours correctly; however, I am trying to configure the system to also accrue the amounts and create the corresponding entry in Journal Transactions. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to do this?
Do I have to fill out the ACA Reporting form (PR207000) if I am using Aatrix to file 1095s?If using Aatrix, is there a way to get the system to prepopulate the Policy of Origin and the months of coverage, based on the employee’s payroll data in Acumatica? When I did a trial run, all Policy of Origin boxes and employee coverage month boxes were empty.
Hi,Can somebody help with the “Leave Request Approved” emails?When personal leave (sick leave) is approved the email back to the employee returns a zero value for Balance Remaining. When annual leave is approved the email works correctly and returns the remaining balance.Finally, the “Approved By” contains our company name, not the Manager’s name.How can I fix this?Below is a pic of the email and the template if that helps…Approval emailleave request approved email template
Hello, Is it possible to have Acumatica post payroll transactions based on the date worked rather than the period end date or the pay date? We pay employees bi-weekly, and there are instances where the majority of the hours worked fall into the month prior to the end date/payment date, but the entire payroll is posted in the following month. It affects job costing and WIP calculations and makes month over month comparatives look questionable. Our previous system did this through an option in the payroll preferences, but I can’t find a way to do it in Acumatica without having to do allocation entries, which is incredibly time consuming. I’m hoping I’m just missing something. Thank You :)

Hello Community, We are in the middle of Acumatica Implementation for a Canadian Heavy Civil Construction Company. We have been using ADP for our payroll system but constantly running into issues with them. It has made our payroll person very frustrated (I am aware of ongoing issues personally too).That being said, we have been looking into alternative payroll systems from two broad angles.1) capability of managing payroll as if was a standalone software and2) integration with Acumatica.We have reviewed pretty much in depth a few payroll systems including Dayforce(Ceridian), Acumatica Built-in, Lumber and Avanti. We have come to conclusion thatWith Ceridian possibly we will experience the same issues of ADP as they are very close in nature, functionality and corporate structure Acumatica Built-in and Lumber are very unmature and they possibly will work for smaller companies with very basic needs and no complexity. Avanti has the most robust payroll engine with maximum control over payr
We have been unable to submit an ROE file processed through Acumatica, because Service Canada is rejecting the file type. The file has to be in BLK format. We have tried numerous ways to get this to work, but it appears that Acumatica needs to automatically convert the XML file to BLK when it’s processed and saved to the computer. (Our previous system Sage converted automatically. The file was in BLK before saving to computer) Seems like a programming issue in Acumatica, but so far, support has been unable to figure this out. I’m wondering if anybody using Canadian Payroll has had to process a termination and use Acumatica’s ROE feature? And if so, how has it worked for you? Hope this all made sense. I am not a system analyst and my terminology may be confusing. lolThanks!
I am attempting to help a friend get accurate information on the ACA Reporting screen. The data listed seems very unreliable. For instance, many employees are listed has having no hours from Jul-Dec of 2024. One long-term employee shows up in only one month, despite being paid weekly.I’ve scoured the web, but there seems to be next-to-no information about it.
How can I create/add a select all box on CST.PR.50.30.00 Create Liability Bills screen? Right now I can only select one screen at a time. I want to be able to check all boxes before I process anything. I need to know the total that I am selecting and cannot just click “Process All.”

We recently used Aatrix for W-2 processing but ran into an issue where many employees did not receive a mailed copy of their W-2. After investigating, we discovered an Employee Payroll Setting that enables consent for electronic W-2 filing on a per-employee basis.We have no idea how this setting was enabled for the majority of our employees or when it was introduced in Acumatica. Users don’t have access to modify this setting, and some employees who had it checked have never even logged into Acumatica.When we filed in 2024, this wasn’t an issue—everyone received a mailed copy. However, we can't find a clear pattern as to which accounts have this setting enabled.Does anyone have insight into how this might have happened?We are currently on 2023R2 - Build 23.209.0023.

I’m testing out MYOB Acumatica and I had inserted some Time Activities as below, but they are displaying under the wrong week. I assume it’s got something to do with timezones, as the timezone is in Melbourne which is UTC+11, and the week cut-off point appears to be 11am as shown in the example pictures below. How do I fix this so that the cut-off time is midnight of the chosen timezone instead of UTC? It’s strange to me that time activities dated 20/01 is in the previous week period. I could be wrong entirely and it’s got nothing to do with timezones, but I can’t find the related settings for this
Hello,I was wondering how it is recommended to set up third-party sick pay in Acumatica Payroll? For example, should it be an earning type, a tax attribute, both, etc?The third-party pays the employee, but we have to withhold appropriate taxes and report wages on both form W-2 and 941.Thanks!
