Is anyone using the Payroll Module with Unions that have rate changes that fall on a particular day of the week (e.g. August 1st)? And if so how are you handling that change within the system?
We’re being told from Acumatica that while different Pay Rates can be used within one Pay Period that the same logic does not apply to deductions/benefits.
Seems like a huge deficiency in Construction payroll software or am I missing something?
Thanks

This response if for others that might be asking the same question as jwengred reached out directly.
Currently, you will need to process two checks as the deductions are calculated based on what is true as of check date of the pay statement. First batch with the current rates, make an update to the rates and create second batch. For the batches You will need to release one batch first prior to creating the other checks due to YTD values being calculated. They would be separate payments and cannot be in the same payment batch.
