Is there a way to prevent invoices being created without a customer tax zone?  

Does anyone know if there is a report in Acumatica that will list any unreleased/pending bills and expense claims for a specific project? We have run into several situations where the Project Manager or CEO completes the project not knowing whether all costs have been posted/released to the project. I have to go back and look at the Automation Schedule History to see if anything has not released. Want to try and be proactive before the project is closed/completed.

There is an old video on the topic of Customer Refunds where the user goes through about five or six steps to issue a refund to a customer.  And it works great!  However, there were too many steps and Acumatica appears to have simplified the process in subsequent releases.So now, in my 2021 R2 demo database, when the credit memo is on the screen, there is an option on the ...More menu to REFUND the amount to the customer.  I’ve done that and I see a JE that shows AR was debited and Cash was credited but I don’t see where a check was actually issued to the customer.  I can’t find a pending payment in payables but the JE looks like is was processed as a check.The whole point of this exercise is to issue a refund check to the customer and I’m just not seeing it.  What am I missing here?

Hi Everyone,  We are looking to have our calendar year set to the 4/4/5 method but the taxes are filed based on a Fiscal Year.  Is it possible to get Trail balances and Financial statements based on a Fiscal year while the Financial year setup in the system is 4/4/5?

When having to select segment 2 of a subaccount , linked to the Employee master, the logical step would be to add the default location ( For vendor) and then link that to GL.Sub. Even when using substring/ left/ right , the result is blank. Fortunately , there are a DAC that already has this info: Employee (EPEmployee)And I am sure the DAC’s exist for other business accounts where this is required

Client had a clerk mistakenly enter 1000 sales orders.  Is there a way to wipe the slate clean without going into each sales order and deleting?

I had check layout AP641500 set up and working in Report Designer.  All of a sudden, the checks starting printing with a different layout.  It looks like it’s pulling from the “Group Footer with Supplied by Vendor.”  What could have changed?  Do I need to format this section the same as “Without Supplied by Vendor?”  I don’t have this issue in the Sandbox tenant.Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello there I am trying to run the TB without suppressing zero balances so that I can make an excel sheet mapping to all my  accounts (regardless of the balance)  to build my own P&L and Balance Sheet. I have never managed to get this done within the application and don’t like the look of it anyway.So I have done this for the first month of our accounting year and have unticked suppress zero balances and yet accounts which have no entries are actually suppressed. What is going on I feel as if Acumatica is always trying to trick me! Is it only the Balance Sheet that this tick box responds to…? Best Regards All

Open Financial period in acumatica . we were opening the fin period from the database feom finperiod table but after upgrade it took a day to be opened is there is any other way to open it.

In Time Card entry, if a work / service being performed is taxable based on the state when does that sales tax become applied?  Is it during Time Card processing or during Invoice Creation?Thank you,Jeff

Anyone know a consultant who has good experience with migrating historical financial data into Acumatica 2023 R2? Preferably I am looking for someone who has also worked with a Sage 100 SQL system as well.Any suggestions would be appreciated. 

How do I edit or delete a quick check template? 

We have a client who is on 2022 R2.  They have 9 Branches and over 25 bank accounts.  They purchased the additional license for the 25 bank accounts.  All branches use the same bank - Bulldog.  We setup one bank feed called “Bulldog”, connected with Plaid and all bank accounts across all branches came in.  We then mapped all the bank accounts to the respective Acumatica Cash Accounts.  We manually ran Retrieve Bank Feed Transactions on 4/7 and transactions from 4/1 to 4/7 came in but not for all the bank accounts setup for each branch.  It seemed to only bring in transactions for the first Cash Account associated with the branch . We put the Retrieve Bank Feed process on an automation schedule on 4/8 and since it is has been on the schedule hardly anything has come in.  Automation History shows successful but last transaction that came in was from 4/13 and that was only on one Bank Account for one Branch.  Nothing came in to any of the 25 other bank accounts.   Cash accounts are restri

I have all Vendors setup using Default Class, which is linked to Default Cash Method and Cash Account. Cash Method is also assigned to AP Default. GL and Branch are linked accordingly. However, when I enter an AP Bill, the Payment Method auto populates, but the Cash Account remains empty.What am I missing?

Hello,For some reason our ACH and WIRE payment methods (for AP Payments) are set up backwards in ACM. When we want to pay via ACH, we select WIRE. And vice versa. The prior AP employee was aware of this and still continued to use the payment methods, just assigning vendors the opposite payment method in order to achieve the files she needed. (i.e. If Vendor X needed an ACH payment, at the time his bill was entered, she assigned payment method WIRE) She has recently left the company and so we are only now aware of the issue, after she had been doing this for almost 3 years. We would prefer the payment methods be correct in ACM and not utilizing them incorrectly due to incorrect setup. Is there a way for us to fix this without disrupting years of data and payment records?  Thanks for any help or guidance!

Hello, We run to the problem that Bill from Vendor is set to wrong currency. When we create the cheque the amount will be auto transfer to amount in US dollar while the bill amount is already in US dollar.Is some way we can solve it ?

Hi All, I have setup the GL Budget Access restrictions [ScreenId=GL105030]. It works as expected but when I try to do a budget comparison on the previous years, the user that has been restricted to some accounts are able to see it because it was included into the previous budget configuration.This is the current access the user have. If you are doing current budget the system able to restrict the account. But if I try to check 2022 budget, it shows the account that the user has been restricted. I am expecting that the system will restrict the account that the user doesn’t have access to regardless of the year I want to compare the budget with. Is there any way to restrict the previous budget based on the current GL Budget Access that has been assigned to the user?Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much. Anne Samson 

Hello everyone,We are looking for a way to change A/R revenue GL mapping. Currently we use non-stocks, however they must be received as you can see below:  We want that, during a sale, the GL account used is that of the customer location as configured in the order type:  However, despite this configuration, the accounts used by the system are always those of the non-stock record. How can we change this? Beside, do you have the help file of acumatica which explain the priorities of the differents posting settings.(which win between theses config : non stocks GL VS Posting class VS Order type/project billing GL VS Customer GL)Thanks in advance.  

Hi all! I’m new to Acumatica; we just converted on 12/1 from Quickbooks.  How can I show an invoice marked as paid for my customers?  They ask for a paid invoice all the time for their records.  We sell high end products that many people need this for insurance purposes. Sometimes a customer will make a partial payment.  Example, a customer has an invoice for $100,000 worth of goods for which he paid $80,000.  I need the invoice to show: Total:  $100,000Amount Paid: $80,000Balance Due: $20,000 Or if it’s paid in full, it would be marked as such and balance due would be zero.  How can I do this?

I don’t see any product ideas for having the Journal Transaction screen default to the default cost subaccounts when a client has projects or construction module.  It would be ideal to have the same logic as the AP Bills and Adjustments with chart of accounts that are associated to an account group in Journal Transaction screen.  Has anyone had this same question come up for project related customers?

Is there a way to override AR Cash Discount? Payments is not letting me enter cash discount amounts. I am getting the error “The amount entered exceeds the remaining cash discount balance” I am assuming that this is due to the fact that the payment date is greater than the Cash discount date. Can this be overridden?

Hello - One of our properties has a new procedure for invoices, and wants to send an email to all of the vendors for their property. They are all designated to a specific vendor class that only that property can see. Is there a way to generate an email that would automatically pull in all email addresses from each individual vendor within that vendor class, so we can send a mass email with the new instructions?Thanks!
