Would it be possible to create a project numbering sequence that included a character based on the project type?

We can configure two-segment auto-numbered Project ID’s with the first segment Validated and manually entered (user who adds project will need to manually select the Project Type from your pre-defined list of valid Project Types in Segement 1) followed by automatically numbered Segment 2 which will populate upon Saving.

Following up on this, based on your example above -

  1. Is it possible to have one segment be the customer ID, based on the customer masters in Acumatica?   Sounds like that’s not possible, without re-entering the customer IDs in the segment list…
  2. Is it possible to have segment 2 auto-number based on segment 1 value?  What my prospect wants to accomplish is to maintain a separate numbering list for each customer.
