Hi, each month when we Run Project Billings we get a handful of “Completed/Closed” projects that get pulled in because of “unbilled” transactions incurred for miscellaneous reasons.There doesn’t seem to be a default field or parameter to control this.Is there a way to exclude projects from the Run Billing process based on Status? 

Can I change a description on a transaction that has already been posted in the bottom part, I know I can change it at the top.

We have a customer who would like the ability to enter Sales Tax information for Customers and Locations in Acumatica, including an uploaded certificate image, and have that same information populated in AvaTax’s Certificate Management database without having to manually enter it. We’re aware of a library of APIs Avalara provides, and we’re wondering if anyone has developed scripts to accomplish this? The overarching goal is to enter the data once rather than having to add the info in both Avalara and Acumatica. The other driving factor is that customer exemption information entered in Avalara is not visible in Acumatica and requires users to log in to Avalara to determine if a customer already has an exemption certificate on file.

Hello all,How can I setup Acumatica to automatically make a loan entry that has been paid. I came around to run an automation schedule once a month with an import scenario that would create an AP bill of the loan entry for that month.Please share your feedback and suggestions on this.Thanks.

How do we setup discount by Customer Price Class and Item Price Class and Warehouse?Acumatica has discount applicable to customer price class and price class but it only applies when sold from a particular warehouse.

Has anyone successfully found a work around for Acumatica to calculate and apply sales tax on a P.O. based on the vendor location? (NOT use tax). 

Is there a way to have two companies in the same tenant have two GL accounts of the same account number and use sub-accounts to assign for different account numbers?For example, in SWEETLIFE there is GL account 10200 - CASHASSET, and I want to use a sub-account code to assign to “Company Checking Account” and use the same GL account 10200 - CASHASSET for TOADGREEN BUT I want the cash to flow to different sub-accounts which are two different bank accounts.  I know that Acumatica does not allow duplicate GL accounts in the same tenant.  (see screen shot below)  

What is/was the first Acumatica version that supported multiple base currencies for Taxes, Projects and Time Management? 

I recently made a journal entry to adjust beginning balances for a merger and when I ran the balance sheet the format looked off even though I made no changes to the format.  However, since the format looked off I went into the row set to see if I could see why and ended up adding a needed section for long-term liabilities.  However, none of the changes I was making would reflect on the balance sheet when I refreshed it.  And now I’m getting the following error and am unable to access the balance sheet at all.Any ideas?

Hello, We are trying to reprint the invoice from the Print Invoices and Memo screen that was already run through an automation schedule. Is there a way we can do the reprint, there is a mix of invoices some has printed checked and some has don’t print checked. Is there a way to unchek the printed check box?Thanks,

Hi allI would like to print the GL Register detail report filtering by account number. When I tried, I filtered in the GLTran table but it only shows one line of the journal transaction.What I need is that the report shows the journal with all its lines if the policy contains the filtered account.Have you done something similar?Thank you.

I'm encountering an error when trying to release the correction invoice in Acumatica. The system displays the following message: "The invoice cannot be canceled because it has the credit memo applied. Reverse the credit memo application before you cancel the invoice."The Credit memo is in Status close and only option on the credit memo is the following: I’m currently at a lost and because of this error we can’t release the new invoice because the above error keepings on popping up. This is also preventing us from closing the period as it still need us to release the new invoice. Want should we do I need urgent assistance on this. Thanks 

Build 23.212.0024A number of users are asking why the “Enter PO Receipt” button remains visible on a PO even when all stock item line quantities are covered by existing PO Receipts.Since it isn’t possible to easily see the existing PO Receipts for a PO, users can mistakenly create another PO Receipt. Quantities will be zero on the new (duplicate PO Receipt) but why allow it in the first place from the PO?Thinking there must be a good reason but can’t think of it. Any ideas?The SO workflow, as a comparison (which I would assume to be similar), doesn’t allow you to create shipments when all line quantities are already on shipments so why the difference? Another difference is that shipments created from the “Create Shipment” button on the SO are created and saved automatically whereas PO Receipts aren’t saved until you click the save button.

I try to file the 1st sales tax in Acumatica, but it always auto-updated with future tax period while the old period is still open. Ie: I tried to close HST return period  from Mar 01-May 31 2023, but system always give me the HST period for Aug 2023. I tried reset the tax period. It didn’t work. Could you advise how should I do to proceed the May HST report. Thank you.  

Purchase Order not recognizing budget on projectThe account code used is included in the TRAVEL account group and TRAVEL is included in the budget.  When posting a JE, it works fine.  When an attempt is made to enter a Purchase Order, it gives error (error comes before and after Cost Code entry)The PO  error:The budget:Account Group
