Financials

We currently have consolidated financials setup so that company’s BLC and BBLPMC are included when running financial reports for company BLLLC. We also need company BLLLC to be included in these financial reports, but they are not being included.  I took a look at how the Unit Set is currently defined and it shows the following:Do I just need to add the parent company to the value to include it withing the consolidated reports like so? Am I going down the correct path with these changes or is there more that I need to do have data from all three companies within the consolidated reports?

Can someone let me know what the logic of the conversion of units of measure is. I have read the help area about 10 times and I must have a mental block as it seems to be the reverse of what I would expect for converting from one unit to another. i.e. I would think converting a box of 10 bottles to a base of 1 bottle would require the instructions to divide by 10 but the operand is multiply. I am feeling quite stupid about this so please be gentle.. 

Client has a utility vendor with the pay separately box checked.  When the client goes to select the AP bills for payment, they show with the pay separately box unchecked and all the AP bills come out on one AP check.  They have a workaround to check the boxes, but would like to have the functionality work for this.  I have attached an example.This has been happening with several of their vendors.  I do not see this as a known issue for 2024 R1.Does anyone know why this would be occurring?Thank you!

 Error: Inserting 'Purchase Order' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. Tax Zone should be..ON. The warehouse and branch are both located in ON and the vendor is location in BC.  Error appears from create PO from requisition. Anyway to turn off taxes completely or the work around this for a company with multiple different tax zones per warehouses/branches. 

Our company purchases trees from farmers. These farmers require 25% deposit or prepayment upfront and then the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before shipment. I’m wondering what the best way to set up these credit terms are? All of these payments will occur BEFORE we receive product into Acumatica. Thanks!

I am trying to hide or disable the Return option in Purchase Receipts for our users since it is often used in error. I was really hoping I could figure this one out myself by using access rights by role in user security but am struggling to find the proper section. On another note, I am excited that they finally added the option to either cancel/correct a receipt in 2025R1!  

Hello Community, While exploring the Controller dashboard I tried to modify the Cash Position widget to display the Account Description instead of the Account Code.  I took at look at the underlying GI, CA0002DB, which has the Account Description selected, active, and visible. However, when you view the GI results the Account Description does not appear and it is not available in the Column Configuration window.I have tried removing the field and then adding it but there is no change.What am I missing?  

Hi All,In some instances, we have to move AP invoices to other projects. This is something we were able to do in our old system but cannot seem to do this in Acumatica.For some reason, you can still move the purchase order to another project but the AP invoice does not move meaning the figures are incorrect against the projects.This is mainly for part-billed or closed invoices. Thanks 

Hi,I need to get a list of unreconciled fixed assets in the system. I tried building a generic inquiry but the system says the data class “GLTranFilter” is not available in the system.Further, I tried running Unreconciled Transactions for the Period report and it gives only transactions which are credited to the Fixed Assets Accrual account. Has anyone implemented or used a custom payment allocator for this? If customization is needed, what’s the best approach ?

I am trying to create a GI for unreconciled assets as follows:All fixed assets, with a left join to FATran, only for TranType = “R+” (Reconciliation).  I’m assuming that the assets that have no FATran record will be the ones that were never reconciled.How do I add a condition statement that allows only fixed assets with no reconciliation transactions?

Hi,My mater financial calendar is designed in a way that start and end is not according to the general calendar. Example is as below. And I’m setting up fixed assets and when creating a fixed asset with acquisition date 27/10/2021  it gives me below error. “ FA Error: The document cannot be released, because the 05-2022 period in the posting book does not match the financial period in the general ledger for the SFT company. Hello! I am running into this error when trying to process a payment for a prepayment invoice.I tried looking everywhere but I cant find what the below is referencing. I thought it was the Prepayment GL Account on either the customer class or customer profile, but neither were able to get rid of the following error. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you!

Hi CommunityI have ha this issue before but I cannot remember how I resolved it.Client wants to reverse application on a payment but cannot release the document. It gives the error “The document is out of the balance.”They do not want to allocate another invoice immediately.Please remind me of the solution.regards 

We are trying to reverse a payment application on an AP Bill through Checks and Payments on the Application History tab. We get an error of “SO Error:  the document is out of balance”. Any idea why? The “Reverse Application” works fine on the AR side, but it is not working on our AP side.Thanks!

I’m trying to modify the existing Journal Transaction report to ignore subaccounts.  We have subaccount enabled in our set up but it is only meaningful in certain situations.  When I want to look at the activity in an ACCOUNT, I don’t want it broken up by subaccount. I know the GLHistory tables are used to pull the opening balances and they are organized by account & subaccount.  When I try to collapse the grouping around subaccount I get garbage for opening balances.I’ve also tried abandoning the GLHistory table and have built up the opening balance by pulling in all records from GLTRAN and totaling all of the DR/(CR)’s prior to the period I want.  But, I can’t get that calculated variable to pass from the detail section of the report to the header section for the account.  Can anyone suggest an approach to either pull the combined records from GLHISTORY or how to pass a variable from a detail section BACK to a header section.Thanks in advance

We have several assets with NBV of $0.00 and beyond the end of Useful Life, but the status of the asset is still Active, while the status on the Balance tab shows Fully Depreciated. See below: How do we get the statuses to synch up? This is not the case with all assets with no NBV.Thanks.

For the tariffs in Acumatica, we are looking at using a document discount (with the discount % being input as a negative).  We are wanting the sales order line discounts to post to one GL account and the discount used for the tariff to post to different account.  What is the proper way of setting this up in Acumatica?

How can you see what the Project Accountant role actually provides access to?We would like to allow some users to use the ‘Reclassify Bill’ feature in AP, without giving them the ability to post costs to closed Projects.

I turned on subaccounts today and now it sees like employees can’t create purchase orders. I wish I had an example of the error I just know that when I disabled subaccounts it fixed the issue. I don’t get that error in my test tenant but I’m wondering if it is because the purchase order was already partially created?Has anyone have experience with this? I know it’s a very vauge problem I apologize.
