Some of my technicians have complained of some differing amounts from the Service Order to the Appointment, and it has boiled down to taxes. I’ve seen it pop up a few times, and its always a Special Tax issue.The  address was validated at the Customer level, and not overridden on either the Service Order or Appointment.Has anyone experienced this issue? Appointment, with the extra line of taxesService Order, lacking the extra tax Acumatica 2022R2 Build 23.212.0024

Recently our Acumatica site was down for a full day of work. We are service based and have techs out in the field all day. With the site down we were unable to access appointments and eventually we had to send all techs home.This triggered us to realize we need a Disaster Recovery Plan. I wanted to see what others have done to make sure you can still function if your Acumatica site goes down?

Mistakes were made when item classes were set up and some Stock Items were created as Model Equipment that should be Parts and vice versa. I know the setting is read only on the inventory item, but it doesn’t look like correcting the setting on the item class solves the problem either. Any ideas on how to correct this for existing stock items?

HI, I have set up allocation and billing rules based on the attached document to process project billing from field service appointments.However, when we run billing from the appointments, the system is not marking stock items as billable. As a result, these stock items are not being billed in the AR invoice when we execute the project billing    I've attached a document on the field service management demo script, which includes the setup process and a detailed transaction process between pages 58 and 95.Can someone please review and let me know why the stock item is not being marked as billable in the project transaction. Thanks.  

Use Case:Client sells equipment that requires inspection and setup, then an appointment for delivery and installation. Client will be invoiced following the completion of the delivery and installation.Acumatica does NOT automatically create the equipment record until the invoice is released (unless we are missing something), so the equipment can’t be noted on the service order or the appointment. So essentially they can’t indicate the equipment on either of those records until the sales invoice is released, which would be after the delivery and installation.We are trying to avoid the step of manually creating the equipment record. Our hope is we are missing something in the process as this seems like a normal situation with lots of equipment.

Hello All,Is there anyway to setup a markup table in Acumatica driven by stock or non-stock items unit cost? I am looking for something very simple independent from Item or class or customer or project. We have thousands of items and we don’t want to do the math on each item and add markup or sales price for each item. Simply I want the FS Appointment screen look at the item unit cost no matter what that item is and add a Markup based on the Unit Cost and set it as Unit Price. For example in Appointment Line:1) if unit cost is 0.00-10.00 then unit price is Unit Cost plus 50% 2) if unit cost is 10.01-50.00 then unit price is Unit Cost plus 40%3) if unit cost is 50.01-100.00 then unit price is Unit Cost plus 25%and so on … Any help is appreciated.

On a service order, if I use the MRO order type, I can select inventory item. However, using INT order type, this option is not available. Based on the Help file, I should still be able to select stock item for “none” billing option

Hi team,We need to increase the length of the 'Equipment Type' field. Currently, it is set to 15 characters, but we want to save up to 30 characters.We replaced the code as shown in the attached screenshot.After making this change, we successfully added the 30-character limit. However, if we select an attribute in the Attribute tab, the value automatically becomes blank after saving. Hello all,I am experiencing weird behavior with “DailyFieldReportEntry” graph events. When we have a CacheAttached Event in a graph typically it is the first one triggered by the platform to override DAC properties. As you can see in the below code on the same DAC I have two events. Acumatica triggers the RowSelected Event and everything works in my code as expected but oddly the CacheAttached Event is not triggered at all. But logically it should have been triggered before any other event. In fact, when I put a break on it to trace, it never is been hit at any point. Has anyone found a way to link cases to target equipment?Use case is: We sell/install a serialized item at a customer and it becomes a piece of target equipment.  The customer contacts us with a question/problem on that specific piece of equipment.   It is important to be able to track case history for each serial number (aka equipment record).Maybe this is there and I’m just missing it.Thanks for any unput.Andy

We get an error that says - ‘This MySqlConnection is already in use. See https://fl.vu/mysql-conn-reuse’ when we try to ‘complete’ large appointments.  Once we get this error message we are unable to cancel, alter, save, complete or bill this appointment.This has happened on appointments ranging from  25-45 lines.Anyone have any idea why this is happening and how we can get around the issue?

Has anyone found a way in the browser settings (Chrome, Edge, etc.) to set up an automatic refresh on the calendar board?  We have clients who open the calendar board in a new window and then drag it to a 2nd or 3rd monitor. They want to view it throughout the day as they are working.  But if they are idle for several minutes and others are changing the board, their page doesn’t refresh unless they force it to or unless they make a change.  Is there a way to set it up so that it can refresh automatically every 5 minutes (like dashboard widgets)?  

How can I remove the access to set the option of ‘Close’ as a status for most users in an Appointment or a Service Order? We would like most users, like data entry or service technicians to be able to set the status of ‘Complete’ but not ‘Close’ - We want to control this option to 1 person that will review the Service Orders/Appointments before billing and closing them. Hi - we are trying to generate a time card and it’s pulling the year of 2091. Nowhere in this employees record states a future year. The hire date is in 2024. Where would I find how to change this? Thanks 

Is there a way to list the file names of attached documents that are under “Files”.? My ultimate goal is to be able to filter appointments that have signatures attached since the naming convention of signed appointments have the work “signed” in it. Or is there an easier way to achieve this?

We have two different customer numbers set up for the same job location.  (One under the old owner name and one under the new owner name)  Both have have history so we cannot make one inactive or delete it.  Is there a way to merge the two customers together?

When a service order is generated which requires parts that are make to order, how does Acumatica generate demand to build the product. Make to order parts on sales orders can be seen in the create production order screen, but I am not seeing make to order parts from Service Orders.Our situation is that customers with service contracts get replacement parts on a regular cadence.  The schedule generates a service order with the make to order parts on it.  The parts on service contract are make to order because they require the production team to assemble and program them.In our old system we had a person constantly entering these service contract parts orders and releasing production orders.  Trying to streamline in Acumatica.ThanksPeter
