Hello Acumatica Community,When creating an Expense Receipt from an Appointment, Acumatica out of the box does not assign the subaccount defined in the service order type. This brings inconsistency between the expenses applied to the department/division (which it is the subaccount) and the revenue generated from the appointment.I have created a business event that updates the subaccount on the expense receipt when it is created from the appointment.Attached the business event, generic inquiry and import scenario for anyone that needs it.
I can’t get this to work despite executed, I am wondering what’s missing. These are schedules ready to process: Automation schedule:
Hello, we are a service company, we use the Services module in Acumatica. We have a challenge of calculating the WIP for the service orders that currently open. Currently, there is no way for us to calculate the WIP because most of the transactions that happen are not date stamped. Anyone else come across this issue? Thank you
Hello,Our customer imports employee credit card purchases from a corporate credit card vendor into the AP Bill screen. Each purchase/expense line needs to be imported with a Project, a Service Order Number, or project X with a GL expense account.I’m struggling to Link the Service Order Lines to their respective Service Orders. I see the fields I need in the Details tab, but they are not editable when manually typing in a Bill. The AP Bill Help indicates these field should be editable. What am I missing? I tried the “Link Line” button too, but nothing happens: Link Line only works for POs, PO Receipts, and Landed Cost (not Service Orders). If I create the AP Bill from the Service Order, Details tab, then the two highlighted AP Bill fields above are populated with the Service Order Type and Service Order number. However, we do not want to open many Service Orders and manually create many individual AP Bills. We want to import and link from the AP Bill screen to existing Service Order
I mentioned a problem that we were having in crediting and reinvoicing a service order in another thread, and then I discovered that this was the problem. We have restricted all users access to cancel invoices (we have specific users who need to create credit memos in specific ways, so we don’t want them to use this shortcut). As a result of this, the ability to “Add Return Line” has also automatically been restricted. See below. The orange should be restricted, the green should be allowed:@Anacarina Calvo you mentioned that I should log a case to see why the “Add Return Line” was not allowed, would you agree that the Cancel Invoice access should not affect the “Add Return Line” access? These are two separate functionalities in my opinion.
I can’t see service order as demand in PO when they PO is generated from service order (mark the item for PO). I can’t also find a report showing the link between the two. Can somebody help showing which DAC storing these information?
Hey Community!! I have customized a an out of the box GI (Appointment Details). I have added tables SO order and joined it with Service Order. And joined opportunity table (CR Relation and CR Opportunity) to SO order. This was done to get owner ID of the opportunity. What I can observe is that for certain records only, the lines are duplicating and for others it is fine. Also, observed this was working fine few days ago but suddenly not sure why it is showing the duplicates. Here is the table joins: These are the dupe values I am seeing only for certain records: One thing I noticed is the Owner Field is coming for one line and is not coming for another wherever there are dupes. Attaching xml for the GI.
Hey guys, I am trying to sort the values in the rows of a pivot table to ascending order. Tried changing the same in the Pivot table by changing the sort order and sort by but the result is not as required. In order to get it in an order, I have changed the names for appts in Workflow stages, but still not getting the desired result. Need to see 1-New followed by 2-Tentative and 3-DEL/INST/INSP and so on. Would appreciate your help :) .
Is there a way to add the link of the screen you want to navigate to on the email notification that goes out when the event is triggered. For example: a business event goes to our dispatch team to create an appointment from a specific service order. Can we add a link to that email so they just click on that and it opens up the service order that needs the appointment made?
Can we rename the Alternate Typee.g “Global” I want to rename to “ABC”
On a given service order, we can have up to 30 line items covering anywhere between 2 to 10 different appointments. For the majority of these service items, they are not billable. But since there are some billable items on this service order, we are required to use a billable service order type. Is there anyway to set the default billable checkbox to be FALSE. That way we can go through and check the lines that are billable - rather than the other way around which will take much longer?
Hi everyone, when i am trying to create an employee in acumatica i am facing this error “Error: An error occurred during processing of the field CuryID: .” what could be the reason.
Going from one appointment to the next, he clicks Depart, and gets the warning “AcctID cannot be empty”I’ve gone through everything in the appointment, can’t find what’s missing. Please help, thanks.
Good morning,Testing Service Orders, I’ve created Purchase Orders from both the Service Order and the Appointment. Is the information for the POs supposed to automatically fill from the Appointment/Service Order? It doesn’t now, I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong.Thanks.
Situation - Setup has one central Warehouse and each technician has a van with stock items treated as satellite warehouses.Requirement - During appointment, stock items used are consumed from the technician’s van. Technician need to also check for OOS to replenish van before travelling to first appointment Challenge - In Acumatica on creation of service order, the planner already plans and populates the stock items (components) to be issued to the Service order, however since resource is not yet selected, the stock to be issued is defaulted to the Main WH. When resource is selected, by default, the stock items to be issued on the Service order and appointment are still referring to Main WH. Even when technician adds additional parts and components to the Service order, the system takes the default WH and location set on the stock item which by default are set to be Main WHQuestion: Is there any easy way to change the WH and location on the Appointment to the technician’s default WH onc
We put all work done and materials to the wrong project. Is there a way to put it all to the correct project?
I am trying to make a generic inquiry to pull appointments that have inventory allocated to them. Does anyone know how to make this a generic inquiry?
Hello,Our client needs to track the location and use of medical devices after they have been sold to their customer. I was planning on using service orders to do this but there appear to be no place to record that an item of equipment has been moved from one location to the other. These moves need to be tracked. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks James
Hey all,Our users have noticed that entering a partial serial number in the main search field doesn’t return an equipment record on the Transactions and Profiles tab, but entering the entire serial number will. The partial serial number can be searched on the Equipment screen no problem.Just wondering if there’s a config option or something to enable that in the main search? Thanks!
Hello, Hoping someone can help with this generic Inquiry (GI) question. I am trying to create a GI which identifies work orders having a prepayment applied. There is a field on form FS300100 labeled “Prepayment Received”. When looking at the Element Properties for the field, the results are:Data Class: FSServiceOrderDataField: SOPrepaymentReceiveViewName: CurrentServiceOrderThis field would be the perfect field to inspect to identify the Service orders in question. However, this field is NOT populated in the generic inquiry Results Grid. The field is blank for all returned rows.My simple GI has only the FSServiceOrder table and I returned all fields. I see the result row for the Service order in question, just no data for the Prepayments. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
A user is trying to bill a service order and getting the following error:Shipping Contact must be specified to process this item. There is a contact on the service order: But interesting that the account name has not come across (and any attempt to fill it with data gets blanked out when you tab out of the field).Acumatica 2021 R2Build 21.215.0016Has anyone experienced this?
When are you typically billing a maintenance contract? All upfront At the beginning of each period (month, quarter, etc...) At the end of the period Other? If billing at the beginning of the period, how do you manage billing of additional items/services there were not part of the original contract? Send a separate invoice for the additional items/services immediately Bill the additional items/services on the next period billing Other?
Has anyone successfully created an import scenario to import Route Service Contract Schedules? The screen is available for import, however I can’t get the import to execute successfully even with the minimum of options defined. Thanks,Michelle
in the customer detail screen seen from the DAC the data is taken from ARDocumentResult. The question is how to retrieve the value in the currency balance field using the report designer?because when in the report the data issued is the number 0 while on the screen it is not the number 0.example: ics21005506
Our client sells a serialised item that has an expiry date. The item becomes an service equipment. We need to see the expiry date on the equipment record. It seems that all that is available is a warranty expiry but this wont work as the expiry date is set by the manufacture whereas a warranty runs from the date of the customer purchase. Thanks James
