Trying to Setup Power BI Integration

Using v25R1 and following the steps to create a Power BI integration (not Power BI Embedded). I have the external application (SM301000) connecting and I see a Token. When I try to create the Power BI Application Resource and try to search for the External Name, I get “The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.”. I’ve set up the Power BI Service (Dashboard, Dataset, Report) in the API permissions section of the app registration. Other insights?

Adding Vendor InvoiceNbr to PO History on Purchase Order screen

Hello - I received a request to add Vendor InvoiceNbr to the Purchase Order screen under the PO History tab but am not seeing this field as an option. Is there another way to go about getting this added?

Restrict visibility of cases based on resolution

Hi all, Is there a low code way to restrict the visibility of cases based on certain criteria? Our quality cases usually come in two varieties: application (ie, the customer didn’t apply the graphic properly) and other reasons (these are internal production issues on our end). We want our Sales team to be able to address the Application issues, as they know how to walk the customer through the process of application. For the rest of the cases, they are not relevant to our Sales team. Can I low code something like “if Workgroup = Sales, then restrict visibility to UNASSIGNED or APPLICATION”? Can I do this low code? Customization? Row level security? Something else?

Conditional business event to email to multiple recipients dependent on results

Hello, I have created a report for our sales reps which summarizes any sales ordrers that have been entered that they are elgible for a comission on. I would like to create a business event that sends this report out on a weekly basis for the orders that were entered during the previous week. I have only been able to make this work if I create a unique Business Event & Email Template for each sales rep, however in my opinion that is not every efficient or elegant. Ideally this could be done with a single business event and email template, however I have been unable to get the system to generate a distinct email for each sales rep. Currently my business event has trigger conditions that filter the sales order date range and the salespersonID from the Sales order Line. Then on my email template, I have set the salespersonID as a report parameter along with a date range. Would appriciate any feedback on how I could improve this process.

Push Notifications for Expenses with Corporate Cards

I’ve seen marketing literature (for Advanced Expense Management) that states Acumatica can send push notifications to users when a Bank Feed item shows up without a matching Expense Receipt in the system. Is there an implementation guide for this? My assumption is you need the following: A bank/credit card that uses Plaid and sends cardholder information/name to the feed Corporate cards set up in the system and matched to employee Corporate Card matching set up in the bank feed If this question is answered elsewhere, please let me know. PowerBi Integration to Acumatica Dashboard

I saw this post: I’ve also tried following those instructions, but right at the beginning I’m seeing a difference between the guide and the links it gives you. The first step is to sign in, by selecting the following: The above image no longer appears on the registration page, we now get: The issue is that this doesn’t seem to update, the sign in button sends me to: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/developers/ which still doesn’t sign me in, so I click SIGN IN at the top and am redirected to my PowerBI portal, but the registration form still doesn’t see me signed in and is stuck on Step #1. I’m kind of dead in the water for getting a dashboard widget configured now. Anyone have a guide for connecting these two platforms that is current? Or am I missing a step?

Getting Unable to cast object of type error when generating the report

Im using Process Payments / Print Checks (AP505000) screen When I Click PROCESS button It redirects to ap641000 report page. Why do I get this error? But when I run the empty report it prints.

GI appearing in mobile that should be hidden

I did a customization to add a GI to mobile. It’s used in a dashboard, and adding the GI was necessary so the dashboard widget will redirect to entry screen in mobile when a record is opened. It worked great for months, but an issue came up recently after republishing customizations. The two tabs of the GI (All Records and This Month) appear under “Other” in mobile app. They were not there before. In my code I set visibility to false. Company really does not want All and This Month to be there. No idea why it suddenly became an issue. Other customizations were published recently but have nothing to do with this one. Below are screenshots of the GI tabs in web, mobile, and my code, respectively. Thanks in advance for help!

Why do I get Invalid column name

I altered the EPEmployee table and added the above columns using a script. After that, I added the corresponding DAC records. However, even after publishing the customization, I still encounter this issue. Why am I getting this error? Script e.g:ALTER TABLE EPEmployee ADD Usr____ VARCHAR(150) NULL, Usr____ VARCHAR(50) NULL;

Business Event to Change Sales Order Information?

I’m trying to create a Business Event, that when it triggers, it changes some information in a specific Sales Order Record. I presume it is using a Action Execution, but I’m not sure which Action Name needs to be used. The few I tried didn’t work.

Add Action to open GI on mobile app

I did not think this was possible until i noticed on the Customer record on the mobile app you can open the Appointment History (Appointment Summary) screen. On the Customer record there is an Action called Equipment Summary which opens the Equipment Summary GI. When i try and add this to the mobile app the action is there but when i click it i get a redirect fail I have tried changing behaviour to void and also changed recordAction to ViewEquipmentSummaryInquiry but keep getting same error. I also tried redirectToScreen = “FS400200”

Calculate Ext Price to 4 decimals

Hello - Is there a way get the Ext Price field on the AR Invoice screen to calculate to 4 decimals? So rather than rounding, it takes the exact value of Quantity x Unit Price? See below..

Inventory Transaction History - Date Time

My team is looking to see Released Date AND Time, currently, I can only see it doing one or the other and I am not sure how to add the same column a second time for the second option, or to configure the field to be a DateTime field. True = Time, False/Blank = Date. I have not done much with custom projects, but I figured this would have been an easier modification I could do for them.

Can Azure AD allow two domains to login via AD?

If a company has two domains, meaning their email addresses can end in @ABC.com and @XYZ.com, and they use Azure AD, can both domains be allowed to login to Acumatica via AD? Currently, the users with emails ABC.com are successfully logging in via AD, but not the XYZ.com users. The error they get is “Error: Login failed” beside the AD login in icon.(I can login as the XYZ.com users from the Users screen and can see the screens to which they have access, so I know the Acumatica access side is OK.) I read the in the S200 course guide that the web.config file has to be configured for AD access, and the specific domain name is a part of that, which is what leads me to believe that either the second domain hasn’t been added to that file, or that only one domain can be allowed in via AD. Or maybe I’m misunderstanding that altogether. Thank you!

Adding a field from the Equipment module to the Purchase Order Grid

I would like to add two selector fields that are in the equipment module Manufacturer ID (Manufacturer) and ManufacturerModelID( ManufacturerModel) to the Purchase Order Grid on the details tab. I know how to add a field in general to the PO grid. The question is if I say new field and use the exact field name will it pull it in or do I need to somehow link the tables together since I want to use the selector list from the equipment module.

Ability to add a new record on the fly in a pulldown selector list

In the service order module in the Target Equipment ID field it has a magnify glass with a pulldown list. 1- How do I add a plus button so that you can add a piece of target equipment from that screen? I can’t figure out if it’s buried somewhere in permission or I have to do something in customizations. We would like to have the technicians in the field be able to add customer equipment when they are in the appointment without having to get out of the appointment and go to the equipment module. 2- Is there a way to make so the list it is restricted to the equipment from the customer on the service order? I know they could always use the filter on the customer columns but with the technicians it would be easier for them not to have to.

Is it possible to set a Visibility Condition to a User Defined Field? (not a security role issue)

Hi! I’m dealing with a requirement that needs some User Defined Fields to appear based o the value of another User Defined Field. The use case is as follows: In an opportunity, my customer must gather a set of documents, but this documents vary depending on if their customer is a person or a company. We’ve created a User Defined Fields (Customer Type) combo selector to chose between the customer being a person or a company. We’ve created the document list checkbox using user defined fields, but it would be great to be able to hide the ones that are not being used, depending on the value of the customer type. It would be great to be able to do it from a Low-Code/No-Code project. Thank you for your support.

Gender specific greeting in email template

Hi, I would like to make the greeting in the email template for a sales order gender specific. Depending on the title it should be Mr oder Mrs for example. I tried to use it Document.ContactID.Title with if and then logic but somehow I failed. Has anybody done this before or an idea how the HTML code should like? Acutally I am not sure if Acumatica understands if and then in the HTML code for templates. Lars

Add Side Panel to Bills and Adjustments for Line Distributions

Hi, I’m working on a customization project to incorporate a side panel for our Bills and Adjustments screen, but would like to map the navigation parameters to the Detail Transactions grid so it can reference Subcontract Nbr and Project Nbr. When working on the customization I’m only seeing the limited fields tied to the source APInvoice for selection. Because our invoices are not setup for Single-Project use, I do not have an available Project field to map to. Is there anyway that I can establish this link for Side Panel display and ease of navigation for our teams?

“inventoryid cannot be found” error over riding “inventoryid does not exist ” when field is made required

I set the inventoryid to required on the inventory screen. I want to still get the error message of “inventoryid cannot be found” if someone does fill in the incorrect inventory id.So basically if the inventory id is blank I should get this error: “inventory id is required. If inventory id is entered but does not exist in the system: “Iventoryid does not exist” Before making the inventoryid required, the “Iventoryid does not exist” error came through when trying to save. Now it is overiiden by the “inventoryid cannot be found”. I don't want this to happen PS I used PXDefault attribute to make the field required
