I would like to add two selector fields that are in the equipment module Manufacturer ID (Manufacturer) and ManufacturerModelID( ManufacturerModel) to the Purchase Order Grid on the details tab. I know how to add a field in general to the PO grid. The question is if I say new field and use the exact field name will it pull it in or do I need to somehow link the tables together since I want to use the selector list from the equipment module.

Unfortunately the manufacturer is not attached to the inventory ID we are using.
I created a non stock item - WTYEquip that has no manufacturer/model linked to it. The purchasing dept uses that Inventory ID of WTYEquip to note on the PO what line items need to be added to as target equipment on a customer. Then monthly I have GI that I created that pulls the info from every PO receipt line that has that inventory ID of WTYEquipment with all the fields that I need to create an equipment record. I use that Excel from the GI with an import scenario to upload and create an equipment record for each piece of customer equipment purchased for the month.
