I have created a report for our sales reps which summarizes any sales ordrers that have been entered that they are elgible for a comission on. I would like to create a business event that sends this report out on a weekly basis for the orders that were entered during the previous week.
I have only been able to make this work if I create a unique Business Event & Email Template for each sales rep, however in my opinion that is not every efficient or elegant. Ideally this could be done with a single business event and email template, however I have been unable to get the system to generate a distinct email for each sales rep.
Currently my business event has trigger conditions that filter the sales order date range and the salespersonID from the Sales order Line. Then on my email template, I have set the salespersonID as a report parameter along with a date range.
Would appriciate any feedback on how I could improve this process.
