Fields from Joined DACs are empty on Create Purchase Orders screen

Either this is a bug, or I’m missing something simple. On the PO505000 Create Purchase Orders Screen, fields from joined DACs are always empty. Controls for Joined Data Fields This works on other grids, and I don’t see any difference on the Create Production Orders screen, but it’s not working and a lot of the columns on the screen are empty. Any Ideas? For example, the customer name column is added, and the column is visible on the grid, but is always empty.

Is there a way to add additional fields to the Approvals screen (EP503010)

Does anyone know how to add the following fields as columns to the Approvals Screen (EP503010) Project ID Vendor Doc ID A proper link to the AP attachement or if there is a way to include the AP invoice PDF as a side panel Right now the only way to get this information is to click into the approval to see the bills and adjustments entry, when you need to click into B&A for each invocie is rather time consuming. I tried to go into the Screen Customization Editor, however it doesn’t seem like the fields am looking for is inherently part of the EPApprovals DAC. As I am VERY new to the screen customizer I did not try to add the custom field, since i don’t know how to link it to the necessary DAC table. Thanks in Advance!

Why are business events so finicky (especially with joins in underlying GIs)?

I have a business event I’ve been fighting with for a few days. It works in our Sandbox. The purpose is to move a debit adjustment from one vendor to another by creating a credit adjustment tied to a clearing account, and applying that credit adjustment to the original debit adjustment and then creating a new debit adjustment on the new vendor. It’s driven by a UDF on the APInvoice. In Sandbox, the user fills in the destination vendor number on the UDF, and the system sees the new value (the BE is setup to monitor all fields on the GI, and trigger when “Record Inserted”) and the BE fires. I copied (exporting the GIs to XML) everything from Sandbox to Live, and it refuses to fire. I can change the BE trigger to be Action, and then go into the GI and fire off the action from the … menu and it works perfectly. But if I change it back to trigger by record change (Insert), like it is in Sandbox, it fails. The GI does have a join that links the UDF to the Vendors table (UDF Value = Vendors.A

How to trigger sales order and create sales commission through business event.

Hello Expert, i am getting stuck in on of the business event scenarios i.e once sales order is created business event will get trigger and create a commission sales for that sales order. I have created business event and import scenario for the same but was unable to trigger the business event. Please have a review and let me know if i am missing out something

Source Restrictions on Business Event Import Scenario

Is the Source Restrictions tab on Import Scenarios ignored if the import scenario is fired by a business event? I have an event that is triggered by an action on my GI. The event can do two actions. One of those actions isn’t always necessary (if the BE detects a cost discrepancy, it creates a cost adjustment). I have the cost adjustment import scenario set with a Source Restriction of the cost difference field being anything but 0, but it continues to create $0 cost adjustments when the event fires. It’s not the end of the world; the $0 cost adjustment does nothing other than create unnecessary adjustment and batch documents. But I’d like to have it stop doing that if it doesn’t need to create the adjustment.

Custom Printed Form Not Visible in Sales Order Screen.

Hello Everyone, I created a custom printed form and added it to the site map. I also created a customization project to allow this form to be printed from the Sales Order screen via Action Menu > Printing & Emailing. However, after publishing the customization, the report is not visible in the menu. The custom form has the correct access rights and works fine from the Printed Forms screen, but it does not appear under Printing & Emailing in the Sales Order screen. Acumatica Cloud ERP 2024 R2 Build 24.203.0023 Please see my screenshot and advise. Thank you Jennifer

Pop-up Note triggered by an Action

Hi! Right now we have a dialog box created for the ‘Close’ action on the cases screen for case owners to put in closure notes when closing a case. Is there a way to also add a pop-up note/reminder when user hit ‘close’? Are pop-up notes and dialog box the same in customization? Thanks!

Custom Contact Selector Error

On the customer screen (AR301000), we are trying to add some extra contact fields for the customer. We just need to have a selector where we choose the contact, but we keep getting an error message about the selector not having a callback event. Selector field on Screen Error message When selecting field After research, the ‘ctl00$phG$tab$t0$s0_s1_f2$’ just corresponds to where the field is located on the screen. The field is a UDF added on from the Customization Projects->Data Access section. Field Attributes Field ASPX I have been looking for a while and cannot find how to make/implement a ICallbackEventHandler or why the target cannot be found. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Push notifications not triggering when GI has condition on custom field

We’ve had a push notification which has been working for quite some time, and then a couple of months ago, it simply stopped firing/triggering push notifications. After some investigation, it appears that when you make use of a custom field in the conditions tab of the GI that’s being monitored, it simply doesn’t trigger. To test my theory, I set up a super basic GI and managed to get push notifications to go through to https://webhook.site/. However, as soon as I add a custom field into the condition tab of the same GI, the push notifications no longer trigger. Based on this test, it looks like custom fields are no longer supported. We recently upgraded to the version 23.112.0032. Is anyone else aware of this change, and what options do I have to trigger push notifications based on a custom field on the SOOrder changing?

If statement for Tracking Numbers on an Email Template of Shipment Confirmation

Hello, Would someone kindly be able to assist me in creating an HTML If statement for an Email Template. I am used to creating them in Report Designer, and not in the HTML of an email template. I have tried using the Acumatica AI, but still no luck. This template goes out when a Shipment is Confirmed, and I have a table for the Tracking Numbers. PowerBi Integration to Acumatica Dashboard

I saw this post: I’ve also tried following those instructions, but right at the beginning I’m seeing a difference between the guide and the links it gives you. The first step is to sign in, by selecting the following: The above image no longer appears on the registration page, we now get: The issue is that this doesn’t seem to update, the sign in button sends me to: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/developers/ which still doesn’t sign me in, so I click SIGN IN at the top and am redirected to my PowerBI portal, but the registration form still doesn’t see me signed in and is stuck on Step #1. I’m kind of dead in the water for getting a dashboard widget configured now. Anyone have a guide for connecting these two platforms that is current? Or am I missing a step?

Logo OpenID Provider Portallogin

We have connected an OpenID provider to our system. This also works very well. However, the stored logo is only displayed on the ERP page. Portal users, on the other hand, see the access with the reference “logo”. How can the start page of the portal be adapted so that the company logo is displayed everywhere?

DAC created from SQL view returns empty fields in GI

We have a customization project that creates a SQL view, DAC, and GI But since upgrading from 2021 R2 to 2023 R2 the GI is empty but looking on the SQL server the fields are not empty. I’ve tried to recreate the DAC, GI, and View with no change. Attached are images for reference as well as the customization project. How to expand DocDesc character limit

Hello - We recently upgraded to 24R1 and now seem to be experiencing issues when trying to import AR Invoices with Doc Descriptions exceeding 512 characters. I started looking into how to create a customization to expand this, but noticed it says the limit should be 4000. When I test importing via postman or manually entering myself, it continues to stop at 512. Does anyone know why this might be and how I can go about expanding?
