Hello our team was trying to process a Sales Invoice but forgot to change the currency from CAD to USD. So the incorrect invoice was generated in CAD but not USD. To fix the issue, the incorrect invoice with CAD currency was opened and did click the “Correct Invoice”. The invoice with USD Currency was generated. However, when we tried releasing it, it shows this message:  Without releasing it, the system won’t create the credit memo to cancel the incorrect invoice (CAD) Do you know how can we can fix this?

We’re running into this annoying situation where a department that uses the Sales Order GI wants a default tab other than All Records.  I’ve created this tab 3 times and within a day someone deletes it.   I have two questions I am hoping someone knows the answer to.  Is it possible to find out who is deleting a shared filter? Is there a permission that controls if people can delete filters? 

Hi All, I am trying to update/ insert address info of a new tenant that was created. When I insert the data in the fields and click on save, all the info I added disappears. What can be the issue? ThxDries 

How can I make a field mandatory? For example: I am creating a project quote and a few fields there I want to make them mandatory for everyone. How do I do that?

We have a business event that creates an email notification. The business event is triggered when one of the two attributes is changed to a specific value (Per image below, when “File Status” is changed to “Account Approved”, the business event is triggered. The business event works fine without issue. However, we want the value of the other attribute (“Change Order?”)  to display in the email notification. That attribute only shows up when that value is changed at the same time the “file status” attribute value is changed. If the “change order” is changed and saved prior to the “file status” attribute being changed, the text is blank. Hey all, How are you all handling training for Acumatica end users. I didn’t know if your organizations have had any sort of turnover but keeping end users trained seems to have been a large struggle for our company. I know that oracle has a platform called UPK or User Productivity Kit. Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) is a software application used for developing training material. It excels at the rapid creation of simulations for software applications, but can also be used for creating printed documents such as user procedures and job aids. Does anybody know if acumatica has anything similar or has been able to tackle training in a different fashion?We currently have .PDF documents for deferent process we used in our company on a sharepoint site, but these seems to get out of date pretty quickly everytime we upgrade acumatica. It seems like a full time job just keeping this up to date. I’m open to how you keep end users trained on different processes in the system.

Hi everyone, Is there a way to sync the customer data and merge it with the existing one? It looks like it's trying to create a new customer account, but it shouldn't have to do that if the email address already exists in the database.Is it possible to create a new account, but when it matches the email address, it just merges into the existing one instead of giving us an error?

Is there any Acumatica-specific way to organize test cases?I would like to ensure users fully test new reports, processes, or preference settings before going live with changes.Do you use a Word doc or Excel sheet? Is there a software system that works well?

Hello,I found this discussion post: In which it says you can select a template for sending an Email.   I have tried this in our Sandbox environment and noticed that it doesn’t pick up the dynamically inserted fields or links we’ve created in the template, NOR does it pick up the addressee.Here is the template: Now, when I open the a shipment and select this template, it populates the text but it does NOT bring in ANY of the dynamic data fields that I have underlined: Are we doing something wrong?Cheers,​​​​​​​k2

Can attributes/user-defined fields be added to a web service endpoint? I would expect to see them under “Order Summary,” but I’m not having any luck. I’m able to find usr fields (custom fields), but not attributes. Thanks!  

Is it possible to do a reversal of depreciation? I have a customer that depreciation got ran until late 2024 and they can’t dispose of assets now. Or would I need to go in and do a transactions for each one?

Hello - We are running into an error when we try to run the Positive Pay Batch Creation for one of our properties. The error states “Value (reference number) single day only). I cant figure out what this means, and when looking at the referenced item, I dont see anything wrong with it.Does anyone know what this error is?  

Our company is going to be purchasing an item that starts with serial number 000 and can go up to 999. We’ll be purchasing these in batches of 100, where the first batch is 000-099. Ideally, I would like to set the serial class to autogenerate the serial numbers when I receive the items. The issue I’m running into, however, is that the lowest serial number I can start generating is 001. Obviously, I could make this item a User-Enterable serial number. However, I’d really like to do this automatically instead of by hand. Any thoughts?

I could be wrong, but I remember a mention in last year’s Acumatica’s 2023R1 announcements, that  in the future there would be more ‘What’s New’ information sessions.At the time there was only a ‘What’s New for Developers’ session, but there was a mention of more sessions in the future, each session focused on a specific vertical/function/workspace.Examples I could think of would be ‘What’s New in Manufacturing’, ‘What’s New in Construction’, etc.Are these sessions still in the works or did I misunderstand?

We’ve encountered a similar issue to that found within Approval Routing Has Stopped Working Suddenly | Community (acumatica.com) BUT slightly different details that, I wonder, might lead to something else… Scenario…An approval map connected to Bills and Adjustments was accidently deleted by a user. The user attempted to begin the process of rebuilding the approval map when they reached out to me. I imported the approval map from a recent backup installed in our sandbox tenant, the approval map’s name is “Non PO Vendor Bill Approval”. So all should be good, right? no… it’s not working, not at all… the Bill goes from On Hold to Balanced without a noticeable blip. Insights into the approval map “Non PO Vendor Bill Approval”...there are several basic steps where the condition is a simple one liner checking for a specific vendor and then directing the approval to a specific employee…  I’ve tried several things…Marked all the steps and rules as inactive and then activated one

I’ve been digging into the cost calculations for sales and have come across a discrepancy that I can’t figure out.The unit cost in the ARTran table is different from the SOLine table.Where are these 2 costs pulled from? 

Good Morning All.We’re looking into allowing one of our approval groups to reassign approvals if necessary. However, when I test it out it seems to allow the original approver to select any one of the company employees, even those who are not part of our approval mapping at all.Is there any way to limit it so they can only reassign the approval to specific users, or only reassign to someone that is next in line on the approval tree?If this is not possible, perhaps we can add it as an idea for a future modification? It would be extremely useful.

We have multiple dashboards that are marked ‘Expose to Mobile Application’ on the Dashboards setup screen (SM208600). All are visible on UI under the Data Views workspace. On mobile, these dashboards show under the Dashboards workspace - not Data Views. I’m not sure why. When clicking into them on mobile, we get the below error page. Any ideas on what is causing this or how to resolve? We do not have custom mobile workspaces/mobile customizations. I reset to default mobile workspaces as well to see if that helps, and it did not.
