We are currently dealing with a minor issue regarding approvals. While the approval maps work as-intended, our users aren’t always as keenly aware of account/subaccount structures as Finance is, and so a few purchase orders, projects, and the like are being coded incorrectly by non-Finance users and approved by their non-Finance supervisors. We usually don’t catch these until after they have already been submitted for processing.Is there a way we can set up something in Acumatica so that we don’t need to start the whole approval process all over again when we code-correct any submissions?​

Hi All, We are currently working on a simple Data Integration via .csv file through an SFTP server.Our client gave us all the credentials and we are able to connect via File Synchronization onto the Server (no security setting issue). Our problem is that Acumatica is not taking the file.As it is only my second time creating this, I was wondering if it has something to do with these settings down here: What do I need to keep in mind?We tried multiple things with the Import File Regular Expression and in the last test we just had a file exactly named this way and it didn’t pull either.Despite that, the wishful format is “Ott-Inv-YYYY-MM-DD” that we are pulling from the Server and we want to save a new version in Acumaticas file maintenance that then triggers Import Scenarios

Is there a way to add a 'grand total' label above the column on a Stacked Column chart (like below)?I found how to create the legend, and there is one showing, but it’s not showing a ‘grand total’ for the Series.  

Hi,Just looking for some advice on what steps need to be undertaken for the upgrade process when there are customizations using extension libraries.   We always have issues on the live site post upgrade so obviously we are not doing something correctly.  This is our process:We get a sandbox environment and take a snap shot, Next create a local instance of the new build, import the snapshot, and test the code compiles.  This is done by the developer (ie. me) and as long as the code compiles and publishes locally I don’t do anything else  We get our users to do some testing in the sandbox.  This is fairly undirected and probably too light (meaning there are problems on the sandbox that don’t get identified pre upgrade) Assuming that no issues are picked up in the above we wait for the upgrade to occur Post upgrade we republish the customizations.  On the new live site all customizations appear as unpublished.

I have user who wants their salespeople to only see Sales Orders of a certain type in the primary list. A filter is not enough, they want All Records to be hidden. But they want users to open Sales Orders on the entry screen and have delete level access. Also want this in mobile app. My idea was to remove primary list as replacement for entry screen, and make a copy of primary list with desired restriction on sales order type. That way they can have entry screen without having the unrestricted primary list. In a test environment, I removed primary list as replacement of entry screen. Created copy of primary list with desired conditions. Kept Sales Orders as the entry screen on both. Added new GI to mobile workspace. It appeared, but no option to insert records in mobile (screenshot attached), even though there was in browser. I then tried adding the entry screen to the mobile workspace as well (screenshot attached), but still doesn’t work.Thanks in advance for any help

I would like to setup the Project module to track our consulting projects, most of which are prepaid. For example, let’s say we invoice a customer for 8 hours of work. I would like this to show up as a liability in our GL and project.As our consultants work on the project, I would like the project billing to automatically deduct from the prepaid amount and to generate a $0 invoice. Can this be automated? It doesn’t look like you can have an allocation or billing rule that looks at the balance of another account group in the formula, so I’m not sure it is possible. The expectation is that consultants will not go over the number of hours that have been sold without an approval so I would actually be fine having to look at a custom report that shows projects that are over budget… Guidance/advice from project experts is appreciated 😊P.S. there should be a “Project” sub forum on this community!

Hello,  I am cleaning up old purchase orders with goods received, not invoiced. When I attempt to enter a bill, the system states I am missing line 2 of the PO. When I reopen the purchase order to add the line number, it adds line 11. Is there a way to pick a line number on a PO?  The first screenshot is from the “PO History” tab. The second screenshot is from the “details” tab of the purchase order.     Thank you, Michael 

I’ve created templates in Cases, but the tasks associated with the cases are not copied over -- same with copying a case. I want to create an internal case called New Hire.  A user chooses that template and the predefined tasks that need to be completed are automatically created as well.Does something like this exist or can it be done with an import scenario?

Hi there, Wondering if i could get some guidance regarding the below I am trying to filter ALL items under that branch (Available or not) but when i untick the Show Available Items Only, it does not show any of the other items that have 0 qty.Could this be a system glitch or am i missing something Thanks 

There is a possibility that by mistake we can create a ticket with improper details, so Is there a way to edit the Title, Category and description or delete and re-create the topic with proper details?Thanks, Vinay K

Running Acumatica 2019R2.We ran into an interesting issue today when adding a change order with multiple lines to a project.In a pending state the balances tab Potential CO Amount only shows the most recently added amount from the change order not the summary of values or total from each of the line items within the change.However - the Revenue Budget Change total on the Change Order screen does show the summary of value for the change (totals of all the line items). As well as the canned change order GI.On approval - the balances tab does show the summary value.Anyone else experienced this?-Rick

Good day,I have one users (at least one that has complained) has issue with Help Links.  The user can open the help menu but when they select the hyperlink nothing happens; they can a blank page.I have no issue with access the hyperlinks.  Is there security issue? Or some adjustment needed.I appreciate any assistance.Thank you@Evan G

Hi all, We need to trigger an email notification when our AR dept receives a payment and takes the Sales Order from On Hold status to Open. This lets customer service and shipping know the order is available for shipment. In the past. this worked but what was happening that subsequent changes made to the order (ie, our distribution changed status from open to shipping), the credit hold release email was still going out. So what we did was put PAID in the order description and we want that as the only trigger. Unfortunately, that’s not working the way we have it set currently… any help?(PS -- other notifications are going out just fine so the email end of things appears to be ok...)

Inquiring if the Image Recognition for expenses receipts was removed in 2022 R1? because I have tried capturing a receipt using my mobile device, but it doesn’t do any recognition, it just attaches the image as file, then I have to add the rest of the details manually. 

Hi!We have a Bills and Adjustments Approval routing set up for one of our tenants, with a very simple routing that flows to a workgroup of approvers. All of a sudden, today, we are unable to approve any of the Bills stuck in Pending Approval. Nothing about our routing has changed, and I have even tried creating a new routing, creating test users to assign the routing to, and we are unable to successfully approve. Has anyone encountered this, or know where we should begin to look? It doesn't matter if we create brand new routing, assign new users as the approver, etc, we continue to get the message “You are not an authorized approver for this document”Thanks for your insight!

Hello,When are the “reorder point suggested,” “Safety Stock Suggested,” and “Max Qty Suggested” fields supposed to calculate? The goal is to use forecast orders (orders that are not meant to be fulfilled) to create demand within the system. We would like the system to provide the suggested values for the fields below. We are wondering why it’s not calculating these fields when the availability rules are set to include So prepared and booked.In the item class for the item, the demand calculation is set to “item class settings”Right now, there are several SOs within the calculation period that are creating demand

We have a customer that has the incorrect Customer ID. We have attempted to change the Customer ID by clicking on the AR303000 screen and selecting Change ID. We enter the correct Customer ID in the Specify New ID windows, then click OK, and click Save, we receive an error message that readsError: Another process has added the ‘Customer’ record. Your changes will be lost.Can someone explain what the error message means, and if there is a way to change the Customer ID without having to create a new customer.Thank you!  

Hello Community,I have a prospect which are into item configuration industry. So they have a template with the list of items - Preferably a type of landing page, which their customers can see and select the items that will be assembled into a finished product. So here, the customers are selecting their own configuration (assembling) → the prospect shares the pricing calculation with their customers → if the customer is happy they will purchase it.How can we implement such a scenario in Acumatica, since the prospect wants to give their customers an option to configure the products as per the need by themselves.I came up with the Product Configurator/BOM & Kit Assembly scenarios in Acumatica but then how these would be displayed up in the customer portal. And if customisation would be required then at what stage/level.Thanks in advance.
