We have a manufactured part that is on backorder on numerous Sales Orders. I have an “emergency” Sales Order that must go today before we fulfill all previously entered Sales Orders. We have processed the part, item added to inventory but Acumatica has applied the item to the oldest outstanding backorder and is not available to pull on the “emergency” order. Is there any way to circumvent/turn off this function off?
Here’s the scenario:We are creating a large blanket PO for ~ 30 different countertops which are all custom and will be drop-shipped to different customers. We would like to be able to link the drop-ship POs to both the blanket PO as well as linked to the end-customer Sales Order. Is it possible to be linked to both?
Hi Sir if we would like change inventory ID for certain part #. All the information are same and only change the inventory ID . How do we make the change in system? example from inventory ID : ABC change to XYZ
I am trying to find a way to view deleted shipment records to discover who is deleting them and why they are being deleted. I tried to do this through a GI but I don't think the Shipments table supports exposing deleted shipments. Does anyone have a better idea as to how I can accomplish this?
Version 2021R2. We get an EDI 850 from the client. We produce a sales order in Acumatica using True Commerce APIs. Later, our customer sends us an EDI 860 modification order. Our company Tripp Shrooms does not want the previous sales order in Acumatica to automatically be updated with this change order.Instead, our company requests that we create an exception report that details the information contained in the 860 (such as the header information and line item data) and creates error messages if the sales order on Acumatica differs from the 860 change order. Give an exception message, for instance, if the amount of a line item has changed or if a new line item has been added to the sales order. The customer service representative would receive this exception report. who would examine the modifications and, if approved, manually enter them on the Acumatica sales order.Has software been developed that can generate unique change order tables (header, lines, and notes) and then compare the
Hello,We have a non-stock item.PO receipts is updating the “last vendor price” as expected. However, when we add this as material on a production order, it does not use this cost. It uses the cost from the price cost tab. Am I missing something. The expectation is that PO receipts will update costs on the non-stock items so when they are placed on the production order they have the proper cost from the PO receipt.Right now it appears that the costs have to be manually entered.Any guidance is appreciated.
We are trying to link the invoice we get from the shipper to the corresponding shipment. My goal is to evaluate our shipping charges. The way I envision it working is add a field when entering lines on an AP Bill where I can choose the appropriate shipment. I’m sure this has been encountered many times so how do recommend solving the problem? Thanks
We just started to get this error now, Running 2022 R2 205.0026Created a quote and when we try to copy it to an SO this error happens.Country is populated too. Error: Inserting 'Billing Address' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. Error: 'RevisionID' cannot be empty. Error: 'Country' cannot be empty.
I know that on a Vendor Record, you can increase the Max. receipt %, however you can only increase it to 999.00. I have a client who sends out a qty for example of 6,000 seeds to harvest. If I increase the max receipt to 999, it only allows me to receive 59,940.00. They sometimes receive 180,000 as the qty. Does anyone have a work around without a customization?
I set price in price worksheet of acumatica. It’s working properly. But when I am running process a week or more a week, the price go wrong. After I restart IIS in server, it’s back to normal price. Please advice me
Hello,This approval works. Only the user specified can approve the sales order directly on the sales order screen. However, the pending approval is not coming up in the Approvals screen for the user. Any thoughts on this?
Is there any setting or upcoming feature that will allow our customer to only pre-authorize the credit card for the amount being shipped when using the Create and Authorize process screen?I saw a pay by line option on the customer record but that did not seem to alter the pre-authorized amount, it always captures the whole sales order. Our client processes an incredible amount of SOs daily, many of which have back ordered items. Their clients are upset that their credit is tied up by pre-authorizations for the whole order, especially when some of the orders had shipments that were future dated.I know the pre-authorization falls off after a few days but their clients are still upset.
A customer is using the kit assembly with multi-evel kits. So to create a kit the sub-kits need to be created before. Is there any automation possible like the automated (or half-automated) creation of the sub-kits in the process of creating a kit?Do you know any customer doing the same?Any ideas?I am grateful for any advice.
Hi, Where are the settings to allow a role/user to edit the value of an item attribute?
We are not using WMS (yet). How do you handle shipping pallets and pallet costs? We have a mix of stock items that are finished goods and BOM-based goods so doing fixed overheads I don’t think would work. We have 7 different pallet sizes we have as stock items since we track inventory on them, cost and if we charge the customer for it. We also have mixed item pallets so while we know item X is 60 to a pallet, Adding Item A, B, C, D and E may not be 60 to a pallet any more due to variations in size of the box, etc. With our current system we have 1 stock item pallet. The sales person enters the sales order, adds the stock items and if we charge for the pallet they enter a price. When the warehouse picks/ships the order they add the pallet item to the sales order at $0 (unless sales person added it already with a price) and the quantity of pallets used. That follows through to the invoice and shows the pallet quantity and how much they were charged (if anything). With Acumatica we
Dear Connections,I have a question about paperless picking because I am now unable to finish it even if the picking volume is smaller than the shipment volume. In some circumstances, the shipment quantity can be "10." Actually, I have the necessary (Oh-hand =10 Qty) shipping quantity in my warehouse. Unfortunately, "2" pieces were broken. In order for me to choose only "8" quantity. As of right now, the process was interrupted at the picking level. The "complete line level" option that mobile apps have does not help me finish my selection procedure. Can anyone offer advice? Thank You RegardsRam
Hello Community,I have been trying to let the system recalculate the values upon Currency Overriding in the Invoices & Memos (AR301000) form. Here, when I override the value from USD to KHR, the Detail Total doesn’t get calculated. Would like to know if I am missing out here something. Kindly guide me.Thanks in Advance.
HiWe have very strict controls in place around purchasing, and have realised that users can receipt lines that do not come from a PO (direct purchase receipts). How do we prevent this, is there a switch that we can switch off to prevent it, or is our only option to remove the “+” off the line using roles?
Good Morning all, we are in the beginning stages of Acumatica; my question here is on the process to send out a PO to the supplier/vendor.We are currently having to -create a PO approval process when fully approved we manually print our PO manually send it to supplier/vendor and finally manually maintain confirmations to track order. is there a way like other ERP systems to have Acumatica auto generate and auto send PO to email on file? if anyone can provide literature or details on this.
On a Sales Order, I am able to set an item as mark for PO and create a drop ship PO that is linked to the SO line. Am I able to go backwards - create a drop ship PO (manually, not through the SO) and then link back to the SO?
I have a created an assignment map for Purchase Requests and assigned it to the Purchase Requisition preferences. No matter how I configure it when I create a request it doesn’t assign it to the workgroup. I can see other areas where Assignment maps are used require a a process to be run to assign the owner and workgroups. . For example, Cases, Contacts, and Opportunities. No such process exists for assigning requests. Any idea on how I can get this to work?
Good Day, I am just a newbie here. Can someone explain to me what this error message means?I am trying to check the “Release LC IN adjustment automatically” but every time I am trying to save it this error appears.

When a user enters in a Customer, Vendor, Contact, Ship to Address, (anywhere where the zip code is part of the address); the user would like to enter address line 1, zip code, and then have it auto populate the City, State and Country. We are converting a client from Sage and they are showing how the process works.
Hello Everyone.I would like to understand the functionality of Avg cost in sales order I have reviewed the Stock Item Price cost and observed that avg cost is 256.85 but in My sales order when the SKU is selected it is showing 303.50Further, I verified and observed the avg cost value is coming from the inventory summary- Estimated cost columnJust want to understand why the estimated cost value is not updated on the avg cost details under that SKU or else do we have functional calculations on this?Any thoughts on this? Also, share the article if you have anything related to this. Notes: All receipts are released, No pending transactions for this item with the respective purchasing side
